I had a tiff with them earlier. Look around the last pages of the "????????AMC???" thread if it is around.I reported that one. I can't believe it got all the way to 7 pages!! *sigh* The person who started that thread was just trolling anyway. He definitely used babelfish to write his posts. What a poser. talk2hand I'm surprised it didn't have more than 7 pages. I remember some troll threads that got to more than that. There was even one thread that was deemed a troll thread dedicated to me that reached 10 pages before it got tossed. Also, I was once in a 15 page troll thread that we kept alive back in my days of being a serious pain in the a** to the mods that one of the mods came in ( I forget which one it was) and said something about keeping it alive for "15 ******** pages" shortly before it was destroyed. Ask Cynder about the "Hell Thread", and why everything is ALWAYS his fault now. @Cynder: What is the "Hell Thread" and why is everything ALWAYS your fault?

Skizzors I hate Catcher in the Rye when I am actually reading it, but now that I'm done with it I think it's great. =p I hated that book both while and after reading it... and still do.

I will be doing data entry for a pathology company. It's through a staffing agency, so I am not hired in yet.
But! $12 an hour, 8am-5pm. Yaay.Grats! 4laugh heart now stop making more than I do. :invisi-emo:

But I guess I can't complain, having only gone to one, one-hour class.
Hay guys?
So I'm spazzing that maybe I'm relying on my professor a little much... We've had four classes so far, and I've been to his office twice, e-mailed him (not including responses to his responses) three times.... bleh.
But I'm not sure if maybe I'm concentrating too much on the characters in this assignment.
Do you think it's okay to e-mail him and ask him to read it? confused E-mail him. Part of his job as a professor is to help his students.
"Well, what else am I getting paid for?"
I did ask the other day if I could e-mail him assignments before class, and he said yes, but like... I don't know. I just don't want to be one of those students who totally attaches themselves to their professors.
I just e-mailed him yesterday with questions on the assignment, but like... I don't know. I feel like this is coming out wrong... Obviously you need to stop crushing on him! surprised Just pulling your leg here RaeRae :invisi-heart:... eek gonk *dives for cover*

The hell thread, as I recall it, was basically one of the 'anime =/= cartoons' threads that used to exist in the amc before the guidelines go so strict that everyone in the anti-sticky slowly began to loathe. One day, just before it would have been pruned from lack of activity (there was a mass of activity in the AG at that point because it was going to be pruned) I decided to be a right royal b*****d and bump it... which kept the thread alive almost as long as the Anti-Sticky before they locked and killed it.

K...Kansai?As much as I hate to cast myself as second fiddle to anyone or anything, Cynder's actions regarding that thread were probably far harder a hit to Kansai's sanity than EVERYTHING I ever did to her... combined... and then some. I also think it contributed a bit to the mental states of others, like Mala and Chibi. Me? I just laughed long and hard... after facepalming, of course.

More or less... yeah. It was also where I encountered the WANDN crew. Chibi, You, Kinumi, Kansai, Valandra, Rich, Jayp, and one or two others. I think its final death actually struck in early December 03 though... but it lived (including your much-hated resuscitation) from July of 03 all the way to December, and made it to a grand total of just around 300 pages, which was indeed a huge thread back in those days.

I liked it! My only recommendation is to create a better balance between pronouns and proper nouns. Most of the story is written with pronouns, and when you do use the proper noun it throws off the flow.
I hope that makes sense? sweatdrop
