3.14 ERA718 iBarty I'm done in the AMC tonight..I'm all freaking out over the last thread I posted in. sweatdrop The night is still young for me. Although, I got a feeling I'll end up in an argument with a new reg or two by the end of the night. Which I honestly wouldn't mind since it's sort of like fighting a troll. I had a tiff with them earlier. Look around the last pages of the "????????AMC???" thread if it is around.I reported that one. I can't believe it got all the way to 7 pages!! *sigh* The person who started that thread was just trolling anyway. He definitely used babelfish to write his posts. What a poser. talk2hand

What a poser. talk2hand I'm surprised it didn't have more than 7 pages. I remember some troll threads that got to more than that. There was even one thread that was deemed a troll thread dedicated to me that reached 10 pages before it got tossed. Also, I was once in a 15 page troll thread that we kept alive back in my days of being a serious pain in the a** to the mods that one of the mods came in ( I forget which one it was) and said something about keeping it alive for "15 ******** pages" shortly before it was destroyed.

iBarty This is all your fault! There is much joy in matching items that don't go together/look well. It's fun though. gonk Welcome to my School of Fashion. It seems you are already beginning on your training. *sage nod*

You know, with the title being what it is, I'm surprised that Imadori hasn't dropped by the guild recently.

This comes from an anime review/forum site I frequent. They just put up their review of Gurren-Lagaan. Here's the first line. Anime Academy Something becomes quite apparent when watching Gurren-Lagann: logic is for sissies and everything can be solved with a good, solid, dynamic punch. xd

iBarty I may only have heard the one song I have by them, but it sounds so much better than our stuff even if I don't understand what they're saying. That depends on what you're comparing it to. If it's late 90's/00 rap, then yeh, there haven't been that many exceptional rap artists who've made it to the mainstream. This is due to what the major share of the market wants, which is black/hispanic/white (in order from most desired to least) gangsta rappers. However, there still is a strong undercurrent of rap artists with a different view from the above mentioned, but they rarely get the face time. It doesn't help that you have the former music channels, what's left of the radio, and generally ignorant bassheads shoving down your throat that the good rap acts are all gangsta rappers. The fact is, Rip Slyme, from the sound of it, represents more of an 80's/early 90's hiphop/pophop sound, fun, energetic and over the top, mixing a house-like sound (amusing, since the 70's used disco) with a genuine sense of entertainment. At the same time, hiphip has an edge to it that stems from the community it grew out of, namely the Bronx and its clubs, which also carried over into the division between hiphop and rap in the eighties. This gives it a kind of biting cynical nature at times, but it ain't no issue to like Japanese music over US music. I don't know your experience with rap and hiphop, but I can think of a few groups off the top of my head with a similar sound or energy, and not necessarily grounded in hiphop. Is that bad? Nah, but the point I'm trying to make is that there's a lot more out there than people think, and stuff like this kind of reminds me of Anime V. Cartoons. You're so far buried under your own culture, you occasionally miss the good stuff, but can clearly see what you enjoy somewhere else.

Anyone here interested in buying an angelic headband somewhat below market price? Thought I'd ask before I pop it into the market.
I'm thinking about 250k... which is 30k below lowest market price. Unless someone wants it super-badly and wants to talk prices with me- I'm usually super-easy going. I just need some sort of income for my quest, or I'd be offering it for free.

ERA718 Cynder ERA718 3.14 ERA718 The AMC Regs are so full of fail. I don't get how they can shittalk Zero. Dude, they are JUST trying to be funny!and failing miserably. I miss the days when I was just becoming a reg and it wasn't as bad. Those were better times. Scary part? There were times better than that. I swear to god, AMC is the new /b Does that make them newfags and us oldfags? AG core (me, Stream, Pi, Luna, etc.) would be ancientfags at this point, but otherwise correct. rofl
