RyanJakobi Sirius Silverstar Can't believe my old uniform polo still fits. I miss those days. :/ I was telling Ryan stories about my life there. Like, it was normal to see an elephant walking down a busy city street. And on field trips we visited a lot of Buddhist temples and ancient ruins. I don't regret how I felt about losing it, not really. Who wouldn't have felt the same? They were such fond memories. Wait...you wore school uniforms in High School too? Course, ours were the standard tie, tan slacks, and blazers on field trips and the ladies had those dress shirts and short kilts. I have fond memories from there too...and a few awkward ones as well. Kilts? Were you in Scotland? My uniform was a dark blue polo and black or khaki bottoms... nothing easily sexualized. ;] International schools seem to understand that most of its students are expatriates who move around all the time... I went to school with kids from over 50 different countries, and never felt out of place among my peers until I moved back to the states for 11th grade. There seemed to be less tolerance for diversity, and endless tolerance for brats who whined about everything in class. Even "multicultural week" couldn't live up to an ordinary day I spent over there. I'm going to make a great grandma, the way I complain about things.

Wolffy000 Lady Pyre I kinda want to buy this, but I'm afraid I'll wind up hurting myself with it. I'm pretty used to flipping my braid around with abandon when it gets in my way. I can just see myself winding up with a black eye from doing it with that attached to the tail. No way, you'll put your eye out, kid. Hahaha. heart Yeah, it's kind of a lot to pay for bodily damage. And s**t, my hair is heavy enough without wrapping it in metal.

Well, it looks like since I'm the only option to getting my parents around--being the only one with a valid license--that now we're going to get my birth certificate and social security card like we should have done MONTHS ago! I mean, I've been living in Indiana now for eight months now.

I only realized how much it weighed me down when I was on a tire swing the other day. The weight of my hair alone was enough to get momentum for me. Though it is fun to tie weights into your hair and whip people with it.

I have a little wrap that I got at my first ren fair and...
Yeah.
Also, forgetting it's in and running fingers through you hair=painful.

Oh, for ******** sake. I got my period exactly a half an hour before I have to go the the gynecologist. HALF a bloody hour. Don't I get all the luck?
I mean, it's not like I WANT to go there, but I have to, and I would sincerely like to get it the ******** over with. The last time I had an appointment I was on my period, and the time before that we got snowed in, just... just... grr...
