Mephlius leaned back his head, and closed his eyes. He looked at Amnity, and smiled a bit. Silently, in less than a second, he got up, moved over to her couch, put his feet up, and put his arm over her shoulder. I love being a Lycan... It was probably unnecessary. She was deep in thought, and probably wouldn't have noticed anyway. So he interrupted her thoughts. "What are you thinking about?"

"Vampire ninjas. A bunch of things..." Amnity replied, breaking from her train of thought the moment Mephlius put his arm around her shoulder. She paused for a second, then she leaned against him, resting her head against his shoulder. A light smile spread across her lips, and she continued to fiddle around with her ring. Only she could suddenly go from a vicious lycan, kicking some serious demon a** to a calm, relaxed, loving person. "Mostly about....The 'W' word." Of course, the 'w' word she is referring to was the wedding. She frowned a bit, 1/4 of her wanted to discuss it with him, the other percentage kind of hoped he wouldn't figure out what she was referring to.

Mephlius got her meaning instantly, mainly because she was holding the ring. But he continued, sarcastically. "Water? Winter? Wednesday? Werewolves?" He smirked.

Amnity laughed and nudged him with her elbow. "No...The wedding." Her smile never died as she looked up at him, then she spoke again. "Do you think you're ready for a marriage?...I mean..." I don't even think I am.

Mephlius paused a moment. "I don't know... I mean, I've never been married before." He chuckled a bit. "So I don't know what it's going to be like." He paused again, then continued. "But if marriage means you're mine, and that we'll be spending more time together... I'd say I'm ready."

Amnity didn't stop smiling. "I'm already yours...And we spend almost every minute of the day together..." She thought about it and laughed, realizing how true that actually was. Then she looked away, looking very serious. "...And I've been married before...Just once..." Of course, she was joking. Just to get a laugh...Or maybe it wasn't the best time to joke about that.

Mephlius let his curiosity mask the small pang of sadness that hit. "Really...?" He looked away as well, just as serious. He paused a moment. I could have sworn I buried that fear... Wait a minute, I did! "Hold on... how did you get married to a guy without ever kissing him? Vegas?" He smirked. Either she was kidding... or she was even more insane than he thought.

Amnity could feel him tensing a bit, and she swore she could feel a bit of his sadness and worrying. Or maybe she was even more crazy then she thought she was. She smiled and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'm just kidding Mephlius. You're the only person in the world I'd ever want to marry.

((Oh... my... God. I just Guitar Battled against someone (GHIII). We played Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll, Impuse, Helicopter, F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X... and were tied 2 for 2. For the tiebreaker, we played Through the Fire and the Flames.

Mephlius turned to her, seemingly serious. "I'd better be!" He paused, then smiled. "What did I do to deserve you?"

Amnity laughed, as if he just made a joke. "I should I be asking that about you!" She continued to fiddle with her engagement ring, staring out in front of her. "I've been asking myself that frequently...In fact..."

Amnity laughed. "I know... We can never get the other to agree." She took the ring off the chain on her necklace so she could examine it better. No piece of jewelry in the world could ever be as significant as the one in her hands in that second. "This looks...Expensive." She chuckled. "I never got a chance to say this...But thank you Mephlius."
