((As am I!))

"I...I don't mind..."She said, feeling a little bad about having flinched. She didn't mean to....It was just....well, not all that unusual for her. "I like walking,"Celia added, trying to sound more sure of herself. She ended up sounding truthful, but not the least bit confident. She really did like the idea of a walk...She was kind of afraid of the Darnas anyway....She had only ridden Kahaku once, and that went well eneough, but the one and only time she had ever tried to ride a Darna, it didn't go quite so well....She ended up jumping off from about fifty feet in the air. She was amazingly alright, except for a sprain or two, but couldn't remember having jumped, or why.

Realizing she was thinking about the experience, Kahaku nudged her with the tip of his nose, and though 'Come on, a walk will do you some good.' in an effort to take her mind off it.

Baran glanced at Kahaku then started to walk down the path, turning and waiting for her to catch up. "We should go, then. I was thinking we could get dinner in this one place and it's not exactly busy, but it does get full around dinnertime."

"Okay, that sounds fun," she said, hurrying after him. Celia walked alongside him for a while, rather quietly, as if at a loss for what to say. She didn't really know exactally what it was people talked about when they were on dates.

"So," Baran started, trying to come up with a good topic, "you don't have a book with you tonight?" He teased lightly, carefully watching her reaction. He still wanted to get a second date out of this! "What sort of thing do you like reading anyway?"

She smiled a little at the joke. "No, no boks,"She replied, a little giggle on her voice. She was glad he wasn't annoyed by her book-habit. "Lately I've been reading a lot of fantasy, and...well, a lot of history...."she said, shrugging a little. She didn't think most people enjoyed reading about history....but for her it was interresting, learning what she didn't know.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 17, 2007 2:38 pm

"I see," Baran nodded. "That sounds pretty interesting. I haven't read anything at all in a while. I don't have a lot of time. Well," he caught himself, "I do. But it's pretty noisy at the HQ and it's hard to get something like reading done."

As they talked the road continued to disappear beneath their feet and he sky continued to darken. It wasn't long before the half-moon was arcing overhead and they were entering the city surrounding the Dragon Castle.

((I LIVE! ... Yes? =D .... =D;;;; No?))

Illusia swallowed lightly and licked his dry lips subtly as he listened to Neith. Oh goodness... this really didn't at all go with his and the lord's thoughts about getting this wedding over and done with. What was he going to do? He could feel one of his, previously, rather rare headaches coming on.

"This... agh, what do you want me to say? This is very fast, Neith, and we're having a meeting today, soon actaully. I understand that you feel with the girl but..." How can I put it without making her angry? Because that's the reaction I think I'll be getting if I tell her what Jett and I have been talking about...

((But what Illusia? XD;;
I: *coughs* >_>;;;
Everybody looooves Illusia! XD;;; =D Right, Mer? XD;; *laughs at last night and an AIM Rp of theirs* ;P ^^))

There we go, Liozu thought with a satisfied nod, not wholly finished, but there was no need to rush; he'd done enough for the afternoon that what little there was to touch up on his... decorations, could be done tomorrow. Time to wander over and play with sweet Ana. Grabbing a small piece of bread and a left over meat pie from the kicthen to eat, Liozu walked quickly through the corridors to finally end up outside. Due to being busy, he hadn't had time to eat, but now that that had been taken care off...

"This isn't right! Leave the maid alone! What do you hope to win, anyway? She's not one of the officers, or the future Queen," Liozu's mental voice reverberated through their shared head, and Empress diverted her concentration from the outside to inside briefly.

Her smile was neither hard, nor cold, not the sort of dismissive unconcernedness one might think would fall upon the face of a youkai only using someone to further her goals. Rather it was fierce excitement and hunger playing over her face, only marginally softened by honest attraction and lust... if honest attraction and lust in a way that could only partly be mutual for both.

"But, darling little worm... I'm not looking to play with Ana because she will further my goals of destroying the Dragon Lord..." briefly, a tranculscent butterfly of wind fluttered between Empress' spiritual body before disappearing as she closed her hands. "This is for me. She is beautiful and innocent, and I want that. To twist it, to see it change into something else beneath my hands. And then... It's because she is attractive. THere's more ways than one to twist innocense!" Empress' laughter danced and melted away as she turned from her captive and back out again.

"Well?" Nieth crossed her arms over her chest. "You can speak to him after the meeting is over. Illusia," her hard gaze softened and she placed a hand on his arm, "I'm not asking for a miracle. The Lord is too stubborn for you to sway him that easily and, honestly, I think that's a good thing. All I want is for you to remind him that he didn't have an easy time at first either and he was trained from birth to sit in the public eye. He was shown to the people before he was a month old. Lady Micoi has only been here for two days."

She signed, still visably cross, and took her hand away. "I've held you up long enough. I'm sure they're waiting to start. Please, I'm just asking you to remind him." Giving Illusia a brief polite smile, Nieth turned and walked back the way she had come.

Ana stood nervously at the edge of the gardens outside the main door, smiling and nodding a bit maniacly as the occasional person walked past. She had had to stop briefly by her bed to quickly hang up her dress and, after a moment's hesitation, snatch her sketchbook and pencil. These were being held tightly over her chest as she rocked back and forth slightly.

The first stars were just starting to come out and a light breeze typical for the time of year was wandering through the grounds, playing with her light, knee-length skirt. It tugged on the white ruffle peeking out from beneath its pink a-line and made her shiver slightly, wishing she had brought a jacket to cover her exposed shoulders.

"Oh, oh, oh..." Ana whispered to herself, clutching her possessions all the tighter. Was she too late? Had she missed him already?

((Cute enough for you, Empress?))

Now, where was... Ah. Seemed Ana was a bit upset... well, the sweet thing had had to wait, after all, and for someone shy that could be more of a factor than others... Keeping his smile soft, Liozu walked up to Ana.

"I'm sorry if I'm late. I hope you didn't have to wait too long?" Liozu said with a baschful smile and dragged a hand through his hair as she shifted his stance. Best look a bit nervous too, and play it cute. Though Empress sorely wished she didn't have to play through Liozu's body; she could act well enough in her own, and now, like this, she had to take Liozu's personality in account when interacting. Normally, this would be seen as a minor annoyance, barely worth attention, but for this she would rather have had her own body. It just wasn't exactly the same.

"Are you cold?" frowning as he noticed Ana's shivering, Liozu quickly slipped out of the long jacket, which, for some reason had a more "feminine" flare to it than most males would be comfortable being seen in, and laid it over and around Ana's shoulders.

"There," Liozu grinned brightly and briefly squeezed Ana's shoulder before dropping his hand.

((*snerk* Very much so. xD))

Ana blushed deeply at the gesture and the touch and glanced at the ground, murmuring a soft thanks. Liozu's jacket was soft, she noted, and warm with his body heat. She could feel her heart pounding faster than ever before, and she wasn't sure whether or not to try to slow it back down.

"I, um, wh-where, um..."

Illusia swallowed and placed a hand over his forehead. "Oh... damn. Why me? How are we going to work this out?" he sighed before turning and walking the opposite direction that Neith had disappeared in. He was probably not too late for the meeting but right now he just felt that he wanted some water to drink and fresh air. So much trouble... but an angry Head Maid was never fun, he had experienced that in his lifetime alright.

Knocking once on the door through a succession of two raps, the Yellow Officer opened the door and walked in. "I'm here," he said, making sure that none of his current displeasure or tiredness was present in his voice.

Once they made it into town, the city streets were really rather brightly lit. Celia looked around, much like a kind in a candy store, as they passed two book shops. She didn't mean to stare...But the books in the window were just so pretty........People seemed to be most everywhere in the area, which was kind of nice, but suprising for her. She had only passed through the city once on her way to the Castle for the first time...Whenever she had to go this way for missions and what not, she tended to avoid it. She was very afraid that she stuck out, and didn't want anyone to think she was strange.

"Did you want to take a look inside?" Baran asked as he noticed Celia twist around to take a closer look at the display of books they were passing. "We still have some time. It shouldn't get too crowded for another fifteen or so minutes."

Glancing back over his shoulder at the store they had just walked past, he took her hand impulsively and pulled her to its door. "C'mon. Let's see what they have."

"A...Are you sure?"She asked, wondering if he realized how difficult it was probably going to be to get her out without a large stack of books in hand. She felt bad as it was for having been distracted so easily.
