Salazar thought of the best way to say it without sounding too odd. "A bad guy is someone who likes to hurt people. My job would be to keep them from hurting people anymore." All while saying this he couldn't help but think that he was a bad guy by this definition. Well, by ANY definition. "Do you understand?"

The girls looked at each other and then nodded their heads.
Ivy had an idea. She pinched her sister.
"Owie!" Eve cried, grabbing the small place on her arm and over-reacting where Ivy had pinched her.
Ivy tilted her head and asked Salazar, "Am I a 'bad guy' now?" It was an honest question. Ivy was curious as to how much someone had to hurt someone to be a 'bad guy', what were the limits? They had both been called 'good girls'... probably because they did what they were told without problem? She didn't know. But even if Daddy got upset with her for pinching Eve, it would answer her question.

Salazar was a little shocked but held his composure and tried to explain. "Well, while you shouldn't pinch your sister. That doesn't make you a bad person. A bad guy does really bad things to people. Bad things that can ruin people's lives. That's what a bad guy is." he kissed Eve's arm to make it feel better, not quite sure if that actually worked or not and told the girls to get ready for dinner. "Geez, that gave me a effin heart attack." Sal muttered to Blithe, helping her finish dinner preparations. "I have no idea what to do in that situation."

The two girls hugged their daddy and each told him, "I love you daddy!" before running off to play together until next time they were called.

Blithe smiled and looked at him. "You handled it well. Although I've learned how literal the girls can be, it might do them a bit of good to add more emotional restriction to your definitions, so they can learn empathy." it was only a suggestion, casually tossed in as she accidently bumped Salazaar's arm. She looked at him "They love you, very very much. And you've proven to be by far the best dad I've ever seen simply by how hard you try... don't worry so much." she said with a pink blush.

Phantom_lover2 She ate quietly and took her time to finish her dinner this time, knowing that she should enjoy this meal. She finished and sipped at her water before yawning softly, hiding it with her hand. He smiled "we best be heading in hm?" he said waving down the waiter.

That means a lot." Salazar said sheepishly, putting the last plate down on the table. "Sometimes, I think the girls need their mother. That is if their mother wasn't a complete psychotic b***h." He quickly put his hand to his mouth and looked to see if one of the girls had heard him. They didn't, and he breathed a sigh of relief. "Sorry, their mother is an irksome woman. She brings out the worst in me." Strange enough that was the truth, literally. "The girls never met her, and with good reason." He said all this in a very very light tone. If one of the girls heard him, it would be disastrous.

"being a mother, and being a biological parent are two very different things you know. I agree, you should look into finding the girls a female rolemodel, little girls need women in their lives, but It doesn't neccisarily have to be their birth mother. I know I for one hated mine. And past that Mr. Neri, you need help. Raising children alone is hard. Maybe you should try dating." she said off handedly goint ot get napkins off the shelf to his left.

Salazar made a sound that sounded like a snort and a laugh at the mention of him dating. "Oy, me date? Thats funny." He was a little skeptical about his love life. It seemed whenever he tried getting with a girl he either got shot or almost had his neck sliced open. "I don't know if you can tell but I have terrible luck with women. Terrible." Sadly though, she did have a point. He'd think about it later, for now he justed wanted to enjoy his new life. "I dunno, I'll look into it."

She smiled softly, "well until then, I'll always be around when the girls need me. " she said making hi sit, forcfully since he'd been buzzing around and she knew it would be the only way to get him to do so. Then she ran up t get the girls. She noticed he looked tired today. He must've been up late.

The days went by quite quickly for the two. They had gone to the doctor and found out that their baby was going to be a baby girl. After that Amanda was just sitting around the house figuring out how they would decorate the baby's room. She had slowly gotten rounder, by the time they were in a week before their wedding, Amanda looked like a float but still looked to have a month to go. Amanda sat on the couch and started to read her favorite book out loud so the baby would hear, drawing circles with her finger in a soothing gesture.
