I like the way that Angil put it.
The system for choosing teams should work well. (As long as nobody posts something that is not a sign-up, since that would mess up the counting.)
How will it be decided who gets which position?
I think that when signing up, people should also post their first, second, and third choices for position. Then you can use a first come, first serve basis when the teams are complete. (I say complete because there might end up being say 2 seeker positions if the team has 14 people.) If one position is already filled, go with their second choice, then third. Does that make sense?

It makes sense Lyra but, we are going to make the teams in rounds of 7 not 14. We are still planning for the positions to be first-come-first-serve. When they post to Sign Up they should see what positions are already taken. Am I mistaken in saying this?

Wait a minute!
The Announcement thread (the Stands) will be the main thread/sign up thread.
The counting will be fine as long as we put an application like "How to Sign Up" Where they put they want to play and their first 2 choices on position.
Each position will have a thread with their specific rules.
As for the teams, what Lyra was saying is that since we have only two teams, the teams might have more than the traditional 7 players.
We won't finalize the teams until sign ups are closed. Then we can get the schematics done.
We need to decide who (out of the people who's been planning) will cover what part of the game. For instance if Angil is doing the Chaser's trivia, she can't be a Chaser but she can be a Beater or Seeker or something.
I don't know how long this event will take, but obviously it's going to go past the End of Term (which is fine, the House points can be added for next term)
(The Express will still go up!)

I'd offer to do something other then play but, I've got so much going on right now with the Grad threads, plus the Express, and with life in general. I'll definitively still participate, I hope to be a Seeker.
@Angil & Everyone: I don't know. We kind of skipped over that didn't we? Maybe we could have the Avatar Contest and it have nothing to do with Quidditch other then the actual them of the avi's. It would mean having to make another thread, though. I don't know if we want to do another avi contest again, so soon or not. This one's up to the Mods.
@Icee & Lyra: Sorry for the confusion.

It would be nice if we had something for people that wanted to partake in the Event but, not in the "Game". I think this one is up to the Mods.

Angil/Lyra/Tina how much time will you guys have between Thursday and Friday??
We're trying to get some decisions finalized in the Chamber and depending on how the decisions go our event will open up Friday!
Also I like Angil's templates. I'm waiting on a decision by the mods. Depending on that we'll either extend our ideas or keep them as is!
