He gave a friendly chuckle after seeing her confused. "It's almost like a Pokemon pageant if you will." He replied. "You start off with an opening using several or few attacks and then have a five minute battle all while trying to be as graceful as possible."
"Let me show you," he said excited. "Aura Swift! Then follow up with Confusion! Star formation!" The Espeon shot out a stream of star shaped rays and then it gained a purple hue and spiraled. Then the beams formed into a large star shape.

"....wow!" Kasiya exclaimed after watching the display. "That is amazing. I never knew such contests existed," she said. "That's pretty impressive. I don't know if I could ever do that kind of thing," she admitted, looking at the ground. Battling was one thing, but contests seemed much more complicated. Graceful battling? The idea seemed rather alien. "But who knows? Maybe I'll give it a try one day. You know, just so I can say I tried. But for now," she pointed to her three gym badges pinned firmly to her shirt, "I'm gonna keep winning these beauties."

“You should, they’re loads of fun.” He replied. “Badges eh? I was going to start battling to get those in the Hoenn region. But Kanto’s look so much better.” He jammed a hand into his ivory bag and took out three Pokeballs. “These are my Pokemon,” He said. “I’d show you, but it isn’t big enough in here.” He gave a small chuckle. “What Pokemon do you have?”

Kasiya glanced quickly at Ryka, who'd seemingly dozed off with Aurora, Thunder and Twilight in her arms. It didn't look too comfy, but Kasiya shrugged. "We can go outside for a bit. I think Ryka's had a busy day already," she laughed, not wanting to go into detail about their recent encounter with Team Rocket. "That is, if it's alright with you."

"Sure." He replied. The duo stepped outside and Seth tossed up his three remaining balls. An oddly colored Charmeleon popped out of one, a Dragonair, and a snozzing Snorlax out of the other. "This is Charcoal, Aero, and Serenade. What Pokemon do you have?"

Kasiya's gaze was locked on the Charmeleon, but she swallowed the lump in her throat and took up her first Pokeball, and released them one by one. First came Ariel, the shimmering Vaporeon, followed by a freshly restored Pikachu. Shocker darted up on top of her trainer's head, looking eager and pleased. Growly the Arcanine came out next, followed closely by Fang the green Golbat and Seto the now lazy Persian. "Oh yeah!" she gasped, almost forgetting her last one. She released Flash, her new Jolteon, who sat down next to her, and yawned loudly. "These are my Pokemon," she said proudly, looking at the gang of Pokemon surrounding the two trainers.

When Ryka awoke from her nap, refreshed and renewed, she looked at all of her Pokemon. Aurora was sitting patiently at her feet, Thunder took his spot on Ryka's shoulder, and Twilight was in her arms, fast asleep. She sat up and looked for Kassie, who she saw outside the glass double doors, along with a tall-looking character.
"Good morning.." Ryka grumbled as she walked outside. Still holding a sleeping Twilight, she put up her arm to cover her eyes from the rays of the sun. Aurora and Thunder seemed to enjoy the sunlight, but Twilight stirred in his sleep. Suddenly, a large figure blocked the sun. When Ryka focused, she saw a giant Snorlax, along with a oddly-colored Charmeleon, a Dragonair whose scales glistened in the sun, and a beautiful Espeon, much like her own. "Wow.. whose are they..?" Ryka asked as she turned towards Kassie, her own Pokemon released. Then she noticed the boy standing next to her. "Oh, hi there." Ryka said gleefully, her usual smile returning to her face.

"You have an oddly colored Golbat," Seth said eyeing the green Pokemon, then his gaze turned to his Charmeleon. "I have yet to see another trainer with a discolored Pokemon other than Charcoal here." The sounds of the PokeCenter's sliding door could be heard and a girl walked up along with, what Seth assumed, was her Pokemon. She greeted him and smiled and he did likewise. "Good morning Ryka."
Aero and Charcoal took up resident around Seth while Serenade slept and Aura circled around the other Espeon, her contest ribbon bouncing as she went. Seeing his Pokemon gave him the itch to battle, but he didn't want to seem rude so he restrained himself from asking. It would be good trainning for Kasiya before her gym battle though.

"There. A full Block Case of Pokeblocks. Lets go Munchlax."
Kael pressed a button on the blender and it folded up again, he placed it in his back pack and got up.
"To Mauville City. Munchlax return."
Munchlax dissapeared in a flash of red light. He stretched and headed for the exit of Lilycove City.
He glanced backwards at Lilycove City.
"I'm off."
He took out a small metal rod and and laid it on the ground. He flicked a switch and it infolded into a bike,
"Ah the power of technology."
He smiled as he mounted the bike and began to ride.
"Maybe I should stop by the Safari Zone..."
((could I request a Chansey for my next post?))

Ryka was astonished that her new her name already, but she ignored that. "Hi.. um.. are you new around here?" She rubbed her eyes and put Twilight down. "My name's Ryka. I'm.. well, nothing special. I'm just traveling with Kassie." She stuck out her hand to greet the stranger.
Aurora was enthralled to have another Espeon to play with. She watched the newcomer circle around her, and when she finally stopped, Aurora walked up and sniffed her, eyeing the shiny ribbon.

Kael stops outside the Safari Zone and after collapsing his bike enters and walks to the reception desk.
"Hello. I'd like to play a round."
The blue haired man grinned and gave him a small phone.
"Here you are. That'll be 50 pikadollars."
Kael handed him the money and left the small building, entering the Safari Zone.
"Wow, its much bigger than I thought. Go MUnchlax."
Munchlax appeared andgrinned ready for the battle.
"Mmmkay Munchlax. Lets find us a new team member."
Kael and Munchlax headed towards the northeast side of the zone. After walking through patches of dense forest. Until they spotted a flash of pink followed by a short squeal.
"Its a Chansey! MUnchlax hit it with a Ice Punch."
Munchlax's fist glowed with white frost and punched the bush the Pokemon had hidden in. It popped out its face livid.
"Chans chansey sey sey."
It moved its arms back and forth, they began to glow and column of fire burst out of its mouth hitting MUnchlax in the chest.
"That must've been Metronome. It got lucky, that was a fire blast. Lets go Munchlax, use Hyper Beam."
A blast of orange ravaging energy burst out of its mouth making a direct hit on Chansey. It fell over stunned by the powerful attack.
"Yes. Go Pokeball!"
Kael threw a Pokeball at Chansey, the POkemon dissapeared into it and the Pokeball lay on the ground moving slightly. There was a click and some really fruity music played. Kael looked around quickly.
"What was that?" Munchlax shrugged and picked up the Pokeball. "All right we caught a Chansey!"
THere was a loud ring from his phone and he headed for the exit.

Kasiya ducked as Fang lunged at her in an attempt to latch on to her head. She grabbed the big green bat from behind, and pinned him to the ground. "How many times have I told you not to do that??!" she cried. Fang only screeched in reply, as he struggled to get loose. "Yeah," she said to Seth, a little embarrassed by Fang's actions. "I thought it was odd too, but apparently there are many oddly coloured Pokemon in the world. It's neat how there are always new things to be discovered." She let the Golbat go, and it amused itself by sitting on Growly's back and tickling him behind the ear with the tip of his wing. Growly tried his best to ignore it, but small growls soon escaped his throat. He turned his head, and fired a Flamethrower at the bat, singing his wings and knocking him to the ground. Kasiya went red in the face and recalled the charred Golbat, hanging her head as she did so. "Just like children..." she muttered in a small voice.

"Hmm, I suspose so. I've been to a few towns in Kanto and Pallet's my home." He replied after a moment of thought. "Not special? You'd have to be special to own an Espeon and Umbreon." He shook her hand and glanced over to Aero and Aura.
Aura pranced around the Espeon for a while then dashed over to Seth. He could no longer resist so he launched his question hoping that they would accept. "Hey how about a double battle? Or go one on one with me Kasiya? It'll be great practice before your gym battle." Seth suggested, an eager smile tugged at his lips.

Kasiya was still growling at the Pokeball that contained Fang, but she looked up at the word 'battle'. "I suppose it would be good practice," she said, tilting her head to the side, but then she grinned. "Do you think you can handle me?" Shocker cried out in agreement from atop her head, sending sparks scattering everywhere.
