Streamjumper MegamanPsy AG, how does one deal with the extremely fragile egos of teenagers who constantly need to be given a pat on the head and told they're going a good job? Honestly, I've been dealing with this group of kids that seem to feel a need to b***h and moan constantly about something, and it's eating at my last nerves. At this rate I'm going to end up channeling the Gator and destroying them all. Also, today I had the worst/best avatar arena idea, but I'm afraid of what would happen to me if I did it. I think you already know my suggestion... normally I'd try to give the kind of advice that humans would find acceptable, but since Luna brought home what is obviously some kind of weaponized version of the common ******** cold I'm not really able to be gentle. Hey, if you're going to try and take the Gator down with a cold bug, it's got to be special.

I am ready to punch my neighbors in the face.
So, remember how I said they listen to music loudly? Well, I never do anything about it. I never pound on the walls or do anything to retaliate. Well, last night.
Josh works nights. Sleeps all day. Is up until about 5am. He has his own room, so when he gets home he goes in there and watches TV and plays on his computer. Well, I was laying on the couch trying to sleep with Yuki. [Because of the whole itchie problem, I was sleeping on the couch so it wouldn't wake up Josh.] Then I hear a loud "BAM BAM BAM". So I got up and went into Josh's room. The neighbors were freaking out because he had a TV on at 2am. It wasn't even loud. I couldn't hear it in the next room. So all night these people BAM BAM BAM on our ceiling.
It's been this way for since we have moved in. I don't know why they are freaking out now.

I totally hate my art history teacher. Today he decided to (in all seriousness, as a believer that the Mayans could predict pretty much anything accurately) remind us that 2012 is approaching neutral

It reminded me of all the movies and books and people freaking out as the year 2000 approached. Show this site to your teacher and see what he says. http://www.exitmundi.nl/exitmundi.htm

The current neighbors (re: brother and roommates) don't play loud music. However, they do seem to WRESTLE and cheer for said wrestlers at 1am. stare

So, for those that were interested, this is the reply (and my most recent reply) to my request for clarification as to why my avatar was disqualified: hilaroma Mod hilaroma Mod Your avatar has been disqualified from the arena for utilizing major glitches (bald). The rules clearly state that these avatars are not allowed and those rules are linked to from the submission page where you agreed to abide by them. I hope it's alright for me to ask you this. I asked Zero Omega a bit earlier about clarification as to why I was disqualified. He said (as you did as well) that my baldness was considered a glitch, but since he doesn't know that much about AvA and avatars in general, he said it would be best to ask you. I did read the rules for the arena. They state that: Quote: No avatars with major glitches are allowed. No nudies, no invisibles, baldies, eyeless avatars. A major glitch is generally something that would significantly affect the base model, or reveal something that was not meant to be seen. So n***s, balds, invisibles and eyeless (vampire/grombie with superior form) are not allowed, but minor glitches like "this shoe cuts off the pants by 2 pixels" are allowed. If we were to fix the glitch, the minor glitch would probably not be affected too much, whereas a major glitch would be affected greatly. From those words, I understood that bald glitches are not allowed, and then proceeded to enter because my avatar did not (as it appeared to me) have a glitch. Rather than glitching the regular base avatar, it is merely a layering of the skeleton and the picasso face. I even thought I had been creative for using the two items that way. Which brings me to my point. May I be allowed to know why this is considered a glitch? I'm so confused. Thank you for taking the time to read and reply (if possible) to this. hilaroma My apologies for the delayed response to your PM. I've had a bit of computer trouble, so it's slow going for me as for as mod work goes. sweatdrop After discussing your submission with other moderators, it was agreed that the method you used to make your avatar bald was not a glitch. However, the disqualification was still valid due to other glitches present in the lower portion of your avatar. Thanks, --name removed-- Thank you for replying. I too have been having computer problems recently, so I do understand. I'm glad to hear that in the end my baldness was not a glitch, however, I'm again confused because I was not aware that any glitches existed in the lower portion of the avatar. What is it that was considered a glitch? I just went to customize my avatar in the same items I used to enter it in the arena, and I was unable to find anything that could be considered a "major glitch". Between sitting and standing, it seems like a few of the tattoo pixels might be out of place, along with some pixels of the superior form, but as far as I'm aware that's the way they're meant to layer. Further clarification would be greatly appreciated. hilaroma Ummm...what glitches? sweatdrop

RaeRae Rave hilaroma Ummm...what glitches? sweatdrop I guess I could somewhat understand the bald thing... but what else was there? eek Like I said, all I could find were that a few pixels were off when sitting as opposed to standing, but I thought that most things looked a little different while sitting. Other than that I have no idea. crying *waiting for another reply*

Aw man...I didn't see of any glitches either unless it is talking about the superior form over the skeleton.. But that isn't anything major like certain body parts disappearing.
