Kinetic Dream I, on the other hand, totally forgot that my lab starts at 9:00 and not 9:30. sweatdrop I didn't get to do the quiz or turn in my pre-lab, but I still beat out everyone else on the labwork, with their twenty minute head start. rofl
I've never had a morning lab, and usually I work slowly with labs... it's the tests and quizzes that I decimate and beat everyone else on 4laugh
Though... having a four-hour afternoon lab > having a morning lab, as far as annoyance level gonk

Is it just me, or is taboo anime no where covered under the list of the which anime sticky? That's what the admin told me that moved it to the chatter box.Desna Because of the numerous threads asking for what your favorite anime is, it was decided to create a sticky specifically for that recurring topic. iBarty Ugh..that's so stupid that I thought I had a pretty good topic going..it gets moved to the chatter box where it either won't get seen or will gather the idiots.. And then you see repeat topics all the time in the AMC, etc. evil This is probably what everyone says when their topic is moved..but still. When something is too vague, how is anyone really supposed to know?
As far as the repeat topics... it's just that there are always way too many to take care of, especially considering how few people actually take the time to report them.
It wasn't like they picked on your thread or anything... it was probably just reported by a passer-by, which was why it was moved while there are still repeats and other threads which should be getting taken care of.

Lack of sleep is killing me right now. Everytime I say I'm going to go to sleep early, something comes up. Last night it was Hiro. I wanted to wish him a Happy V-day, and ended up talking on the phone with him for three hours. Finally got to bed at around 4. I love him, but his is not good for me, no no. crying

So we're talking about language today, and how it developed probably from hand signs and then hand signs and grunts. So the instructor starts miming his actions to someone in the class, and they grunt back at him and do the same response. He explains how this is better than just making the hand motions. So I raise my hand and we get started, it goes something like this:
"John," I says to him, "just out of curiosity, do you think that mimes would be selected against in an environment like this? I mean they can't exactly shout out warnings when predators are near..."
"...You will have completed the John (last name here) Trifecta after this class, right? Andrew, this is honestly the best question you have ever asked."
Class proceeded to degrade into an argument about whether mimes could have any advantages which would allow them to avoid the evolutionary ax. The final consensus was that, no, they didn't, and that technically, mimes don't exist.
Such a productive day. xd
