:flex:
I don't see anything wrong with your post. You're condensing... into what, I can't say. Perhaps ownage. Perhaps a microwave dinner. Perhaps your own personal star.
Makes me wish I'd read that fight with B in the old school thread. 3nodding
And, yes. Meryl just deserved to get smacked down. You had every man, woman, child, and despotic dictator cheering for her blood.

That fight was hardcore.
Shook the heavens and the earth, and brought down the house.
edit: ...hnn... what one was building into... couldn't be the double one-inch. Not the Mirror Slaying Blaze... gah. What was the other one...? MAX Beast Straight?

Vahn Kyonuske I have yet to win a single fight against you. Which means your the only person I can't beat :p xd I just beat Reiko and won 100k. He's 0:4 agaisnt me still, even though he's still claming to be the king. Let him have his delusions and his World Champion belt... razz Eh, you've yet to win one, but we've only had one serious fight, right? Hell, we've only had a couple. Scorpion vs. Sub Zero was such a joke... a badass joke, but... ...anyways... I was aiming for a "through no fault of your own" statement here, but I think I'll settle for: "The Champion has special powers." ~ Takamura edit: On that note... while I was waiting for Rei to respond to me in that fight (a good week or so), I watched 76 episodes of Ippo and 2 movies. Tempted to pick up the manga from where it left off.

Reiko's not even anything serious.. I've tied against him every single time as well.
He just likes to take advantage of openings and knows how to word things better with a viel or whatever.

I'd best turn in and wait to see if Cole responds to the PM I sent him. I need clarification.

Vahn Kyonuske Reiko's not even anything serious.. I've tied against him every single time as well. He just likes to take advantage of openings and knows how to word things better with a viel or whatever. He likes to use tricky words with double meanings to hide things, and then latches onto one opportunity and never lets go. While I was waiting for him to respond to me he fought two other people. First thing he goes for with each of them is a bearhug, and then a rear naked choke. Same strategy with both. He doesn't want a fight, he wants a submission, and just blasts anything they say to argue his "my choke is superior". I hate grappling in RP, it complicates things and just makes it bullshitty most of the time. So what does he do when he finally posts to me? Tries to bearhug and armbar. So I put him in a rear naked choke and then he argues for a page about how pinching the back of my arm is supposed to get me to release him. That was after, of course, four separate responces to my one chokehold post. As in, in the span of time it took for my character to take a step and headlock him, he somehow managed to react, re-evaluate his reaction, re-re-evaluate his reaction, and both extend, withdraw, and react with to what I was going to do with some sort of premonition, his right hand. So, yeah... nothing special. I just got a free 100k which funded my new shiny armor. razz Continuing from that random Takamura tangent there... I've never considered myself a champion of any sort; though I've got several world-class people (ex: the goddamn Vahn) in situations where I'm cheering for them to win even when they're fighting me. It's unnerving, and confusing, and makes me a bit anxious. I'm not a champion-type guy. Leave that to the blowhards like Reiko. I'm the guy that sleeps on your couch and noogies you at 3 AM.

Quote: Viper... I can't believe you just posted that. etc. Quote: I'm finding it hard to write a reply when the only information I'm given as to how all my attacks and defences failed was: =/ Okay, so I wasn't clear in two cases, I'll address them both. @Jello and Vahn: No, I'm not saying the momentum is Viper's power and he's keeping it all while he's going. I'm saying that Viper's been whipping around in a circle fast enough to create gale force winds and coming out of that is a lot of power. Similarily, it keeps going even if Viper jumps out. Which he did to hit Vahn, then hopped back in to rejoin the current. He's just making that power his own as he goes, not maintaining it all. The only thing he's keeping at any kind of constant rate is the heat. @IC: Okay yeah maybe that one deservesd a bit more detail, but as entertaining as your backround is and how powerful it makes you doesn't change the fact that Cole spent five very real rounds assembling his cage and one post of attacking isn't going to do it. Especially when its empathy based, which likely won't fly against ordered mind based powers very well anyway. A perfect example is what a guy named Slifer did earlier. He charged his spell in one thread, then unleashed it in another. I promptly told him that that wouldn't fly because he hadn't actually done any work in that thread relative to its events. You could spent five pages charging an attack, but all that's worthless when you go into another person's threads because you aren't actually doing the work there.Otherwise you could just assume you'd launch you most powerful five pages worth of charging attack every time you start a fight. =/ So unless you added something more to your attack in there that I didn't notice, you still don't get to break through.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
You'll most likely be regretting that.
For one, you probaly assume you can overfill me, like a balloon getting too much water, or two, you think you can exert control from within or something.
Or three, your just thinking I'll get super charge and hit you with some massive flame attack, only to have you absorb it and get stronger in turn.
and then..
???
Profit
Edit: btw, I'd like to note that Vahn's not doing any actual "drinking" or absorbing. He's collecting (robbing, teehee) it all into a single focal point.
He's not solar powered like Birdman, so there'd be no point in absorbing heat/flame. He just has high end immunity to it, not a fettish/diet for it.

I foresee an argument over 'who can collect the fastest'.
Considering Vahn's in "hoarde" status, you'd have to get directly in close quarters with him and try to take it from him.
And as I understand it, cqc isn't exactly where you want to be with me x.x

Nah, I've just been ******** around. There's just about nothing I can do to you this early in the fight if you're a fire user too. And somehow I doubt you're going to sit still for a Destruction beam or ball like X did.
As for the energy its less war of acquisition as it is you've swallowed the baited fishhooks.
EDIT: Well, after a few started attempts to write this post I'm calling it a night. From this point on I need to write seriously or you're going to kick my a** across this arena. I'll post in the morning when I can give it my full attention.
