Peppermint Elf hilaroma iBarty Peppermint Elf hilaroma Hey Nabs, since I wasn't around when you offered them, I was wondering if you still had any coupons for Adagio teas. If you do, I'm highly interested in ordering from them as it is. 3nodding heart Sure thang! Just PM me your email addie. 3nodding So, what was the dealies with this again? After reading some of what was said, even I'm interested but the only problem is..I'm not a tea drinker. I don't know the first thing about brewing tea (if it's in teabags, then I know how to do that)..but tea is supposed to be healthy and I need to lose weight anyway but I don't know if tea would be the thing to drink really. Green tea probably, but I don't like green tea..bleh!Hmm, if you don't know much about tea, I'd suggest starting with simple bagged teas that you can find at the grocery store instead of spending a bunch on gourmet before you have an idea of what you like. Two good, common (and well-known, at least around these parts), and relatively inexpensive brands that I would recommend are Celestial Seasonings and Stash. 3nodding I really like Stash's Peppermint, Earl Grey, and Pomegranate Raspberry flavours, but virtually everything I've tried by them is quite good. heart I agree with Hila. Try some of the ones at the grocery store! Lipton Pyramid teas are REALLY good. Some more good tea brands are Tazo and Republic of Tea.Agreed on both of your recommendations. Tazo Awake and Refresh are both really, really good. I really like the tins that Republic of Tea keeps their tea in. LOVE corked lids. heart Thought of another brand: Good Earth. I've only tried their Jasmine, but I've heard good things about their other flavours.

So like..are most teas healthy for you then? Or are certain kinds not really that great for you? The chocolate tea sounds interesting but..I can only imagine it tastes strange.

Peppermint Elf This girl on Ravelry was talking about how when her college roommate came to visit her during the summer, she threw a can of chick peas, a clove of garlic, and a little lemon into her blender and made hummus. Her roommate was just blown away that she just made her own and served it to her.
It kinda reminded me of when I was 15 and my friend had never seen popcorn not being cooked in a microwave (I made it in a pot on the stove). She'd come over and would always ask for "real" popcorn (non-microwaved). I always wondered how she thought people made popcorn before microwaves. sweatdrop I admit I haven't been to a concession stand in a while, but I always liked seeing the popcorn popper go at the movie theater. (We mash our chick peas by hand for hummus. It's about as time consuming and difficult as our blender when all is said and done.)

I think it's funny that they're using a song that's really all about tripping out of your mind on acid to advertise a game. xd

Dear Psy, Who told you over and over again that you could land a womanz and were really awesome? Who told you you had nothing to worry about and if you liked a girl not to be nervous? YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT. I WAS RIGHT.
In return for my congratulations, I demand love and cookies. Sincerely, Rav

So...yesterday, technically, we went to Vons to get my mom some wine and a giftcard for her birthday. We get to the checkout, and we get some old haggy b***h. I was putting in my phone number for the Vons card thing because we always thought Marni didn't have one there. Then she flips and is like "NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT." ...wtf? I told her if it was such a huge issue, then I would gladly go get my license from the car to show that I too am of legal drinking age. Then she basically tells me no, and I say that I'm not going to lose money because of that because it's ridiculous. Talk about age discrimination. Marni tried her number and it worked.
I'm thinking I should have filed a complaint. It's clear that it was age discrimination. I had nothing to do with the purchase, and it doesn't even matter anyway. I was letting her use my parent's number, which from past experience, I know it's no issue using someone else's card number. They used to ask us if we had someone's number we could use if we didn't have our ******** grumpy old people need to gtfo of life.

Vons practically ******** breathes customer service, so I find it really stupid that the checker did that. s**t, you probably should've asked for the store manager and explained the situation.
I know Vons has a strict policy on selling alcohol and making sure the person is of legal age, but s**t, that isn't cool. Hell, wanna know the Vons customer service policy she ******** up? "Always find a way to say, 'Yes,' if you can't, find a manager that can."
That ain't no customer service, I ain't ********' motivated by that.
