LunaInverse AzurePaleSky LunaInverse Luna has a new pet peeve. It used to be people who don't use their blinkers when changing lanes. I LOATHE that. Not anymore. Now I hate people who cut into funeral processions because they can't wait a few extra minutes. scream I don't understand? And I hate it when people don't signal. I start yelling at them even though they can't hear me. Well, you know how in a funeral procession, the cars all follow behind the hearse, and those in a funeral procession don't have to stop for traffic lights? It's illegal to cross through or into a funeral procession, and this a*****e cuts in front of me because he can't wait a few extra minutes to let the procession pass. Some funerals are done differently, but as my family is predominately Catholic, those tend to be the type of funerals I go to. I could understand if it was an emergency, but then he'd probably put his own emergency lights on. Meh, he was probably in a hurry. How distasteful. I've never seen a funeral procession though! I guess in California people are super impatient? Double meh.

hilaroma AzurePaleSky hilaroma AzurePaleSky Hila, I wish I was there so I could try to teach you... gonk Some starter guitar books'll do the trick, or if you want to look online just to see where the notes are on the guitar (you'll notice that they recycle at the 5th fret and onwards) then you could play pieces you like/know how to play on clarinet, maybe! For me it was easier playing single notes and open chords before getting really into it. heart It's also good practicing older famous songs so you know when you make a mistake. I'm gonna look online first to see what I can find. If it's not enough, I'll definitely pick up a book. Any recommendations for a good starter book? I really have no clue... sweatdrop Without looking at anything, I was somehow able to play most of the intro to a Rip Slyme song already ("One"), but that's only because it was way easy. I felt very accomplished and happy about it though. I have a good feeling about this guitar thing... Wow, that's awesome! Sounds like you're already better than me!! xd I can't remember the name of the books I had... but if you're getting along well without them, then maybe you shouldn't bother? You can try looking at tablatures online (ultimate-guitar.com, 911tabs, etc) if you can read them. They're easy enough to understand once you get the hang of it. lips rhyme! Totally not better than you! It's really simplistic so all I had to do was find a few notes. I doubt I'll be able to read the tabs (I don't know chords), but I'll give it a try anyway. =) To be completely honest, I don't even know how to hold the thing properly. It's going to take a lot of work to learn this, but I'm in for the long run! Holding it was awkward for me at first. It felt really big.... hmmm... next time we meet up, bring it! Marni's really really good at guitar, so she could teach you better than I could. As long as you're using your right hand over the hole and your left on the frets, holding the notes/shape, you should be good. 3nodding

I dreamt I was on America's Next Top Model... it was so scary! But I finally learned how to walk in heels. It was a bigger deal than it was, like the real show, but it was like... they would kill you if you didn't do well. And I made all the judges cry one time by reminding them of home. sweatdrop

Somehow, everyone made it to New Jersey to the funeral. Oh, and one of my uncles pissed in a pot and flun it out his window at the NJ turnpike, almost splashing my mom's friend's car with urine.
