Kirino giggled, grabbed Jima'ei's hand, and tugsgedhim toward the table, anxious to see what would happen.

Atlanta: "It is good to meet you, Atlanta," the man replies. "Though I must say, you neglect your Spirit so. Why?"
Moriah: "I waited because you approached the table and did not stop to look around before sitting upon it," the Illusory member replies. The Illusory member nods as you speak your thoughts. "Magic was unusable by mortals until we meditated to seek the answer," he says. "We learned how to harness magic and created the Original Rings as the first methods for mortals to use magic. The Rings are powered by the Spirits. Mortals cannot use magic without the Rings, but the Rings require the Spirits to be within the Originals, otherwise the magic is lost and the Rings are useless. Should a Spirit be disconnected from their power, it would be necessary to imbue another with their power and put this new person into the Ring, allowing the power to be used again. It is a dangerous process, and nearly killed us when we bound these Spirits to the Original Rings."
Manra: The man in purple offers his hand. "I am a member of the Illusory," he says. "I was the one to use the Violet Ring when we attempted to call back the sun."
Kirino: Jima'ei smiles and follows you. When you approach the table, a gust of wind comes by, causing you to have to close your eyes. When you open them, another man in purple is there, offering his hand. "Greetings, child," he says.
Everyone: As the others approach the table, their respective Illusory appears: Maxwell's from the shadows of the cavern, Silla's from the water dripping from the ceiling, Marco's from some kind of gate that looks like it goes to the spirit world, and Eleutherius' from a burst of light. Moriah sees these appearances as various collections of their respective colored energies. They all begin to talk to these Bearers, but are speaking in low tones, as if not wanting to let the rest of you hear what they are saying.

"I..." I pause to sigh. "I tend to instinctively keep others at arms length. It's an old habit. I'm trying to overcome it though... But maybe fear is keeping me from trying harder." I hang my head as weary memories to rejection, torment, and pain crash through my head. I feel tired just from thinking about it.

Manra looked at the offered hand, her mind quickly recalling 'handshake' and she smiled a little bit as she took it gently. "I-it-eh-ah...sa-s-so you're... a-ah a friend... of... Rai'o's yes? Ah-i-ih-it's nice to ... to meet... you."

"So, if one had enough focus, could they create a ring without magical assistance? Also; you still didn't answer my question about waiting to show yourself." I say to the spirit, person, projection... whatever he was. I look at my ring carefully. Could I have made this simply by meditation and strong focus? It would have made things so much easier for me... but then I wouldn't be half the warrior I am today... learning how to overcome weakness makes this a limiter remover instead of a needed tool. What does the ability that everyone possibly having access to magic mean to the future?

Atlanta: "If I may, perhaps it would be best to not force it, but to let him come to you," the Illusory member says. "Believe me, it can be hard to heal old wounds. But it is necessary. Though perhaps the use of a second Ring may help..."
Manra: "Sort of," the Illusory member replies. "I was the one who used his power many years ago. I see great potential in you, young one. Potential not yet realized by the use of a singular Ring..."
Moriah: "No," the Illusory replies. "It takes a willingness to sacrifice one's life to the creation of such a powerful object. A willingness many do not possess. The creation of these Rings may have killed us, and nearly did. For one such as yourself, creating one without the assistance that we received would end only in death. We were aided in the learning of the arcane powers, but it was too dangerous for one person to create even one Ring alone. All nine of us were needed for each and every Ring, and even then it almost seemed like we were not going to be enough. In the end, we were enough, but more would have been better." He pauses for a moment. "Moriah," he says. "I sense a great potential in you, one that cannot be harnessed through the use of a single Ring. You need another."

"E-eh-ehh?!" Manra says, the look on her face completely surprised and confused, but then again, she knew confused was her normal. "Eh-bu-wh-what wouldah...uh-um, ah-are you suggesting havinga ... ah-a second RIng? W-would I ...be able t'make othershappy with...if by having more or...?" she asks some of her words slurring into the next, "Because I already like Rai'o..." she says, and to emphasize, she went to hug the male, "Manra and Rai'o are friends. Rai'o's taught me lots b-but...eh...Having a new friend is always uh-um...I want to make others happy, s-s-so...I-ah-eh....I guess I ... I am a... bit... of an idealist?" Who happens to really likes Labyrinths.

I c**k my head to the side. "You sound like my teacher when I found out how to hear sword swings. Also, how can you read my thoughts, and you are really dancing around that motive for hiding question!" I say, almost playfully in responce to this mysterious entity.

Atlanta: "Yes, another Ring," the Illusory member replies. "Four of you have been selected to possess a second Ring, while the other four have been selected to remain here with us while you use their Rings."
Manra: Rai'o pats your back when you hug him. "Yes, I am offering you a second Ring," the Illusory member replies. "Don't worry about making the new Spirit happy; Rai'o can do that for you."
Moriah: "I did not read your mind," the Illusory member replies. "I responded to what you said aloud. And as for hiding...well, it's fun! Plus, we had to make sure that it was really all of you, and not someone who had somehow broken through the barrier. However, I am serious about you needing another Ring."

"Well, that barrier wasn't exactly pleasant, I have half a mind to cut it down if it were a physical force!" I say to him in a lighthearted tone. "So what will happen to those who won't be coming with us? How much do you really know about us? Your sensing of potential seems to be based off reading a personality and drives as well, or perhaps, instead of, being able to see a level of power within us."

"Eh-uhm. Ah..o-o-okay?" she says the last bit turning a bit higher and more like a question. She didn't know what that last part meant, but as long as the other was also happy, and they could spread that happiness, that's what mattered right? Well hopefully at least.

Moriah: The Illusory member laughs at your first statement. "The other four will have the option of remaining here with us, or going home," he says. "The only option that is not available to them is going with you on the remainder of the journey." He pauses to think on how to answer the last question. "We watched the trials as the Orange Ring controlled them," he says. "We know what each of you are capable of, and have deemed four of you worthy of each possessing two Rings, rather than one. But this also means that the ones we did not deem worthy must be stripped of their Rings. It was a difficult choice to make, but it was made. Are you ready to accept this second Ring?"
Manra: "Are you ready to accept your second Ring?" the Illusory member asks.

"I feel like I'm stabbing someone in the back though... My condition on accepting this is if the ring picks me specifically. Unless this was perhaps at some point a formalized trial to deem worthiness, or I'm accepted by the spirit itself, I can't bring myself to strip away my friend's power for my own benefit." I say solemnly, though the projection of my resolve is likely undermined by my sitting stance. Even Mashai'i kept calling me cute when I sat like this.

"I'm guessing that means that the four who lose their rings will be staying here then as I'm doubting there are four new rings for those of us chosen."
