Rainier was hissing, ignoring the flying pokeballs, punted trainers and the general commotion as he took up his place in front of Tabitha on the ponyta's back.
Tabitha's eyes were locked on the appearance of the Electrikes and she cocked her head to one side in thought. "Maybe it's because we're such a big group? We're more threatening that just one or two people, perhaps...?" To be honest she didn't know. She did know that some people were going to be bruised before this was over. Looking over at Lumine she smiled, stroking the hissing meowth's back. "Thanks. He was part of the first swarm that attacked us, now he's shaping up to be a little thief."Click the picture for full size

The next electrike seemed slightly calmer as it appeared infront of the group. However, this image didn't last as grey skies suddenly clouded above the group and a clash of thunder struck down. The electrike bared its teeth and growled at the group. "Ele, elec TRIKE!" What could it be so angry about?   POKEBALL GO!Winner should send 4k and cert info to Neko_no_Yami

Jaxith, no happier now than he had been earlier, wagged his tail, probably checking to see if it still worked. The look he gave Math was clear.
"I'm so sorry Jax! At least someone caught them before we had to fight them, right?" He gave the big dog a hug before turning to the group.
"Th-thank you... whoever it was that helped..." he added with a smile.

Oyumi was quick to congratulate Kacen on his capture, but she didn't rest just yet. She had no doubt there were more Electrike out there. Soon enough, the third one appeared and she tossed the returned Pokeball at it.POKEBALL GO!!

Kacen stared at the pokeball that had just returned to him, and then turned to Gwend. "Uh, looks like we've got a new friend buddy. What do we name him?"
He couldn't believe it. All of the flying pokeballs, and he managed to catch and electrike!

Lisa turned to Lumina and the unconscious man, focusing more on the latter. "What happened to him?" she asked, "I don't recognize him. He wasn't a victim of that landslide, was he?" Lisa fidgeted. What had she missed during her concentrated effort to dismantle the rock barrier? Was there more to this than met the eye? Most adventures she went on seemed to end up more complicated than they were supposed to be... "You hadn't heard?" Her voice sounded as shocked as she was, "A group of us went up the mountain to check the cause of the landslide. It looked like there had been a battle that took place and we found this guy unconscious up there."
She shook her head and frowned, "Then some black helicopter comes from the north and shoots missiles at some of our pokemon. They sent out a bunch of pokemon who started attacking all of us and tried to take that man to the helicopter."
Lumina laughed, "I got hit by hypnosis or something and fell asleep for a bit. But in the end we managed to get him back. He ended up getting hurt more in the process though."

 After a while with the others and fawning over Vulpix and Arcanine she turned in with Tauros early that night to make sure she got a good night rest and wake up at a reasonable hour this time. (Hopefully preventing getting lost again.)
This time around Lynne stuck with her fellow purples, making sure not to get lost. For a while she had zoned out until she noticed people stopping at a block in a path. "Electrike!" She couldn't help herself, without a second thought she scrambled to grab a pokeball and threw it.POKEBALL GO!!

 In between Electrike attacks, Corn wondered why she was trying to catch them. She wasn't really a dog person, and didn't think she'd be happy with one. I guess it's just a knee-jerk reaction, she thought to heself.

POKEBALL GO!! Math jumped as one of the lightning bolts from what he could only assume was the Electrike's Thunder attack struck down close by. Were they after him or something?! He knew what he had to do... again. It seemed the best way to deal with these things.
