Suddenly Vertos flew up into Kayla's hand as it deflected Shera's halberd into the wall. The blade of Vertos normally silver turned black in her hand. Kayla giggled as her wings lifted her into the air.
"Until later then Mother and Father. I will look forward to meeting both of you when you are not in such a foul mood." Kayla said blowing the both of them a kiss and flying out of the room.
Celeron felt strangely empty as he saw Vertos summoned to Kayla. He got up unable to give chase do to him feeling weaker then he has in a long time. He collapsed to one knee as he took a step toward Shera.

Logain felt a dark presence and as he drew near the temple saw the scene unfold before him. Unable to help himself he dived into a run toward Shera and Celeron. He skidded to a halt near them and inquired in a worried tone. "Are you two alright?" He asked them, not knowing what else to say, as they both looked quite disgruntled. "I don't mean to intrude... but you seemed to be in a pickle and wanted to see if I could do anything." He said to them.
"Uh huh." Shinn said to Miluiel. "I smell somethin' different." He told both her and his father. "Not mean, but different." Shinn's nose continued to sniff, getting a good sense of the scent.
Azrael smiled broadly. "If you think that it would do, then that should be very well for it." He said to his wife.

Alunn thought about what he had just witnessed. The girl was some sort of power absorber, not only that though, her entire personality had seemed to change from the meek little girl to a more evil version. "That is one nasty ability that girl has. I wonder if it would work on creatures of the arcane" Alunn said out loud. He walked forward a little but stopped, remembering the power the girl had absorbed. "So the couple are angels, though wounded and unusual ones at that" Alunn called, bringing his guitar out. He noted Logain's presence but wasn't to concerned. "Might I play a song? Some say Music is a great healer."

Miluiel set Shinn down on the ground. She watched him curiously. She smiled at Azrael and nodded, "I think it should work." she was still somewhat distracted with Shinn. "Is everything alright?" She whispered to him. "Should we be worried about this thing he smells?"

“Vertos…was stolen by a demon child that absorb powers. Vampire do not interfere with us…please I beg of you no music. It will not help in this matter.” She looked at Logain and Alunn both before turning her attention to Celeron. Her eyes were soft towards him. “I’ll get your sword back somehow. She must not touch me is all. She had not absorbed enough of me to know about me than what she does.” Shera would turn to her halberd as she looked at it carefully. “Come to me, oh healers blade…” It soon would by her command and disappear into her body as she would wrap her arms around Celeron. “Let’s return to the Inn for now and rest.”

Celeron stood on his feet and took off his coat sliding it off his wings and placing it over Shera's naked form.
"I appreciate both of your concerns. That man over there that has died was a good man who saved my love and saved me by letting Shera know the danger we were in. Please remember the great priest Jin and help the brothers of them temple give him a proper send off." Celeron said as he found it hard to walk at first then slowly picking up pace with Shera's help.

“We’re sorry please just let us be. I need to get Celeron where he can rest and I can rest as well.” Shera continued to support Celeron despite how tired she was walking towards for the inn. She wasn’t going to let him be without Vertos for long. She would give up her own if she had to. The leeching demon would lose her life if possible. They’d make it to the inn and their room as she set Celeron down on the bed to rest. “Rest Celeron while I bathe to get this stuff off me. I’ll return to you shortly.” Shera would go to do this as she needed to get clean before she could rest near Celeron.

Logain bowed and let them walk off. "Forgive me then. But when you are better I would like if I could discuss something with you, if possible. If your interest is piqued then I am currently residing at the mayor's estate. Forgive me for being sudden with my request. Please go and rest." He bid them before himself turning away back toward the town, in a different direction.
Azrael himself sniffed to see what was bothering Shinn and then gave a smile with a slight blush. "Oh, my son. No need to be so worried of that, let them be alone, my little son." He told the,, he looked toward his wife and smiled. "Don't worry... it is a pair of normal wolves who are in a mating ritual. The female is giving a strong scent to entice the male." He explained to Miluiel. "Lets go get those berries." He saod leading her in the direction of the bush he had indicated earlier.

Miluiel blushed also. "Ah, I see. Yes Little Shinn, let us leave them to their business." Miluiel said gently placing her hand against Shinn's head and turning him back toward the berry patch. She couldn't help but wonder when it would be her chance, and if she would ever be able to carry a child for Azrael. Someday she really wanted to. The thought made her blush even brighter.

Alunn stayed, playing a soft funeral song for the departed. "And yet another one dies and another one is born. Life really seems to take enjoyment in screwing with my work." Alunn said to himself, after planting a seed of power in the people of the temple. He walked outside, climbing onto the rooftops until he saw a man that looked confused. "Are you lost sir?" he asked the man.

Karasu was snapped out off his inner thoughts, and realized his black wings were still out. He quickly retracted them in and spun around, "'Course, I was lost in my head. When you start to think of one thing, things will end up changing around and you'll end up thinking a totally different thing." Karasu said cheerfully, poking his head as he spoke.

Shinn let himself be led toward the berries and bounded up to it quickly, running around the bush, shedding energy happily.
Azrael smiled and stood close to Miluiel, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. They came up upon the bushes looked at the berries, they were nice and big, just right for picking. "Well these certainly look nice, don't they?" He said.
