Ialo just stared at Luna from the corner of the room with huge eyes. "My god, you're scary," he muttered lowly. He slowly came out from the corner, staring at Luna intently. "That might not work, what if the curse breaks, and the sword disappears while my arm is carved halfway open?" He shuddered, more at the concept of Luna willingly doing this. "How did we get to this point?" he wondered aloud.

"I'm sorry, I know," she whispered. It wasn't the first time she'd blacked out on someone. She remembered her old friend from her translation job, the one she last saw in the elevator, call her psycho because of it. Of course, he was the only one who first-hand saw how she acted during a black out. "My stupid idea brought us here," she muttered. She heard the last true thoughts of what Ialo could have said about her solution, except with small twists. 'Why would you even think of that?!' and 'You're so scary, Luna, I hate you!' and more things along those lines. Ahh. Maybe having black outs was how a wolf started PMSing.

Ialo's face softened. Did he upset her somehow? He stood up and walked back to her. "Are you okay?" He kneeled next her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "I know you only meant well," he consoled her. "Your idea wasn't stupid at all, it was very logical." She was talking about cutting his arm off, right? He had considered it at one point too, then realized the loss of a limb would be transferred between forms - and no one made prosthetic dragon arms.

She strained a laugh. "You're the one with the curse in your arm and you're asking if I'm okay?" She lowered her head and shook it. "Maybe you're not quite as self-absorbed as I once thought." She laid her head against his and sighed. He was so comforting, even when she was being crazy. She smiled at his words. They weren't very good at trying to think differently, but they were enough to make her forget about it. He wouldn't make a very good therapist. "Thank you." Her voice was small, barely a whisper. The ground below her started steaming up. That's what you got when you mixed ice and fire, right? Oh, boy.

Ialo raised an eyebrow. He must be terrible, if so many people thought he was self-absorbed. He wrapped his other arm around her as well, embracing her. They had gone through so many emotional ups and downs in just the course of a few hours. Ialo realized that morning would be soon, actually. Another sleepless night, but he was used to it by now. Hopefully, he wouldn't fall sick from it. "Always," Ialo told her, his confidence returning. He blushed slightly, just enough to realize he was turning hot in the cheeks, and then the steam kicked up a notch.

Luna looked up at him and noticed the blood rushing to his cheeks. He always was so shy, so adorably sensitive. She leaned against the wall nearest to them and let him adjust himself so that they both were comfortable with each other. She let her legs become comfortable between his, her left hand intertwining with his right, her right hand with his left. It was all very twisted, but it felt comfortable. Luna kissed him on the cheek she hadn't before and could feel the ice forming around her turn to water before it even formed. Who was getting more passionate in this simple embrace? He was keeping her from freezing herself to death. Was she keeping him from burning alive? It seemed natural that she would be. It seemed natural that she was feeling this, again. So many emotions in such little time. She wondered what an eternity would feel like. "I've missed you."

Athena was in her own bed when Dymetri had reappeared in her and Lin's shared dorm, and she was asleep... but she sensed his presence in the room, and it caused her to half-awaken. Then, of course, she had to look around, and she saw (sort of) Dymetri in Lin's bed. But she saw as much as she didn't see, so she just mumbled something unintelligible and rolled over, limbs flopped all over the bed. She wouldn't remember any of it when her alarm went off, anyway.

"Crap," he muttered under his breath, hearing Athena's asleep grumble. He couldn't stay in her bed with her, what if a teacher came to check on the students? What if her roommate awoke to find them there? Quick thinking always came in handy when he needed it. Dymetri bundled Lin up in her covers snugly and picked her up gently. He wondered if he was interrupting any dream she might have been having with his moving, but he moved quickly and stealthy out of the room. After going through the window, he mentally closed it and carried Lin as mist. He ended up flying her above the forest, which at the time that it was, was very cold. Good thing he wrapped her up quite nicely in her covers, or she would have woken up. He stopped wandering with her and set her down on the ground when the forest finished. They were at the cliff again, morning dew first appearing. The sunrise was just about to begin as he set her down and changed back into his physical state. Dymetri leaned over her, smoothed out her hair away from her eyes. She looked so peaceful sleeping. Calm, soothed. He loved it. He placed the photographic memory into a folder in his mind and stroked her cheek lovingly. "It will be a shame if you miss something like this, Lin," he whispered in her ear. "I may not fully enjoy it anymore, but I know you will. Look at the sunrise, Lin. It's bigger than ever."

Ialo smiled. "I really missed you too. It's cheesy, but even the colors seem brighter when you're around." He enjoyed the way they were twisted together - like a game of Twister, really. It was comfortable, intimate even. He muttered a spell, one to lock the door and create a barrier around the room. He did want anyone to interrupt this moment.

Luna let go of his hands. She turned around so that she was straddling his lap, her skirt sliding up a few inches. Her knees were against his hips, and she leaned forward. "Really?" she asked softly, pressing her palms against his chest. She slid them up his body, wrapping her arms around his neck. Luna cradled the back of his head and softly played with his darkened hair. She smiled a smile that showed teeth, slightly amused. "Mm, if we were still teenagers locked up in a spacious room like this.. I wonder what we would do." She lightly brushed her lips against his.

Ialo raised an eyebrow as he grinned a bit. It wasn't the eerie grin from earlier, but his own - one of happiness and amusement. "I can't possibly imagine," he said innocently, his hands around her waist. He could smell her, and with a pang in his heart, he realized how much he needed her. He leaned in to kiss her, his breath warm with dragon fire.

She accepted the kiss with too much will. The kiss was brief, though. Soft and teasing. Was he trying to make her want more? She already did. She leaned in for another and felt the burn of his lips soften her own. She pulled back for half a second to watch a puff of smoke escape the encounter. Their lips pressed harder, and it felt like a mix of emotions. Tenderness mixed with roughness, competition mixed with acceptance. It was unreal, and the knowledge of him being shirtless made the feeling enhance. In an instant, she felt it necessary to take off her own shirt. But, she couldn't. What a cockblock. She couldn't find the buttons, and she felt angry at herself. There were only, what, four?! The frosty feeling in her own breath grew with impatience. She never had such difficulty before. Mostly because she was a virgin. Wait.. What? Was she actually thinking of letting him go that far? The demon and angel on her shoulders had a conversation. "You need to be sure that you want to do this. Does he even want to? You know how he is." "Ahh, to hell with it, just do it. You've been waiting five years for this chance, trust me. I've lived in your subconscious." "Well, so have I, but I know that you want this to be special.." "Who says it's not? Hell, he LOCKED THE DOOR, Lunie. That means he wants to get it onnn." "I should hit you, you know. You're not making this any easier for her!" "Aren't you late for church?"
Luna left her hands where they were, if he stopped, he stopped. If he helped her unbutton.. then let fate take it's course. It was true, she did want this. Very much so. And her first time was definitely always imagined with him. Even if she didn't know who the mystery man was in her dreams. He fit the description. She needed to be a part of him in every single way.. And this one way has yet to be touched.

Ialo, however, had no such internal conflicts. For once, he was allowing his human psyche to take a backseat to his draconic instincts - which was fine, as the instincts had yet to be proven wrong. For every degree that Luna's breath grew colder, Ialo's fire became more intense. Slowly at first, his hand traveled from her waist to her front, where the front button of her shirt came undone. There. His dragon and human sides were having a conversation of their own. "Dude, I think she really wants this... Dude, are you listening? "C'mon baby, just a litle bit further...." "Would it kill you to listen to me?" "SHHHHH. I've waited since he hit puberty for this! I've got my pride as King of the Skies on the line here!"

Decision made. She wiggled her arms out of the shirt and unbuttoned his pants. It was hard to decide whether the room was getting hotter or colder. Luna's hair, which used to look very neat and professional, was now the messy, sexy hair that created a waterfall across her back. She unhooked her bra, and pushed her chest against his. Her thighs tightened against him, and Luna's head lowered to kiss his neck, passionately, yet softly, biting on it occasionally when she felt the need to. Of course, she knew Ialo's lips didn't have long to rest. She loved the feeling of being with him. Half-naked and hot/cold, it felt right. At once, she knew immediately why a bed wouldn't have been enough. He'd set it on fire, and she'd turn it into a cube of ice. The constant changes would have turned it to ash.
