Randall woke up after about an hour, and sat up, clearing his eyes. He could... feel... that Melissa wasn't onboard. Either that, or she wasn't giving off that imprint in the force that he had gotten used to. She's probably just out running errands he thought, standing up and stretching. Stop being so kriffing paranoid He noticed with start that Tee Nine was sitting in the room with him, staring silently with its unblinking metal eye. "Whoah, how long have you been sitting here?" he asked, walking over to the utility droid, patting it on it's saucer-shaped head. Tee Nine beeped and worbled an answer. Randall's grasp on Binary wasn't that good, but he got the sense that the droid had been in the room when he took his nap, and he just hadn't noticed it. "Oh, ok." Randall said, gesturing the droid to follow Randall out of his room. "C'mon. The left repulsor engine was feeling pretty funny on our way down from the dock. Let's go and see if we can fix it." Randall led Tee Nine to the engine room, grabbing his tools on the way. Opening the panel covering the inner workings of the Astral Chaos' engines, man and droid set to work.

Meditating with her back to the wall, Sonya reached out with her emotions, her hatred, to feel the crew. The urge to whack that mutt upside the head burned in her. Slowly, she gave a sneer. Her guard was down again, it was never her attack, but her defense which needed work.
"No wonder why I can't get an attack in," she muttered. "No suprise that I messed up so many times.."
The mutt would get his due. She was strong, but her attack couldn't do anything if it was blocked. She needed power, and Sonya wanted it all. It would happen when they reached Nakara and helped his departure. He seemed too sure somethign was going to happen.

Jakar merely nodded and focused on the rock. He barely had any faith in his ability to do it, but he forced his concentration all on the rock. As the ship became closer to it, everything seemed like in slow motion to him. Jakar gestured his hands at the rock, closed his eyes, and made a pull-down gesture. He felt the rock through the Force descend.

The fighter screamed by as the boulder pulled free from the cliff face and fell to the canyon floor below. Marie pulled up gently this time, bringing them into a wide turn that took them out of the canyon and over the landscape.
"Now imagine trying to grab something of that size while you're flying at full speed through a pitched space battle," she said as they cruised along. "The Force has an unlimited number of applications. The only real limits exist with your imagination and your ability. It is your most powerful tool, more useful and deadly than even a lightsaber..."

"I prefer using the Force over my lightsaber anyway," said Jakar. "My talent with manipulating the Force is far better than my skills with a melee weapon. Which is good when I need to open my senses more. My sight in the darkness seems to be worse than your average human."

Marr met Siren's eyes, and for a moment, was pulled in by their power. Her voice filled the air with a strange warmth, as if it promised things unspoken to be carried out behind closed doors. Marr felt his body respond to such secret promises, and for a second wanted to give in. Then, a painful memory from long ago surfaced, reminding him of why he would not...
"I have underestimated you, Lady Siren," Marr said, regaining his composure. "Yours is a rare and interesting skill, and I see that you have become quite proficient with it. Return to the Embassy, I'll see to your request when I can."

" I look forward to our future dealings, Lord Marr. " Siren said, giving a small bow before turning to leave. As she made her way back to where she was staying, she stopped for a moment to look out towards the sky. " Hopefully she'll be easy to persuade to see we're not so bad after all... " she said to herself, thinking about seeing Saria again.

"Nimble little vrelt." She muttered as she spun to face her target. "Dodge this!" Cene snapped up a wrist and began blasting him with her gauntlet blaster.

"As you wish." Pash replied as he darted past and under the stream of fire, charging in with a kife jab aimed at her side.

As Lady Siren left the throne room, a familiar figure in black and gold beskar'gam walked out from behind one of the towering columns and approached Marr.
"Lord Marr," said Rook, in her usual all-business tone. "We need to have a talk."

-------------------------------------------------------
On the moons of Yag'Dhul the Lyran forces were scattered and disorganized, taken aback by the sudden arrival of the Republic. Contingency plans were in place should such an event occur, but as so often happens in war, these plans went awry quickly. Individual squads and miscellaneous clumps of soldiers moved towards armored bunkers and defensive positions, trying to regroup and find order amongst the chaos. Some managed to reach anti-air emplacements, and were able to fight fiercely for a few moments before being silenced.
All in all, the situation on the moons was less than ideal for the Lyran forces, and was quickly getting worse.
On Yag'Dhul itself, however, the ground forces had ample time to organize and gather their defenses, preparing for the tough fight that would inevitably come. Their only hope was to hold out long enough for reinforcements to come. As was usual in Lyran tradition, surrender was not an option.

"Hmm," said Marie, seemingly lost in thought as she looked out over the ocean below. "We need to get back."
The fighter turned in another wide arc, and Marie pushed the throttle almost to the max when it pointed back towards the capital.

"So soon?" Jakar asked. "I didn't even get to fly the..." his voiced trailed off. "Something wrong?"

"Someday you are going to have to explain to me how exactly it is that you Jetiise do that," Rook responded. "The time my men have spent here has been profitable for both us, however, it must eventually end. We are not Lyrans: we have our own culture and our own ways. If we stay here much longer we may start to lose sight of such, and that is a fate I will not force on those who follow me."

"Yes, though I'm not sure exactly what," Marie said, trying to concentrate on flying the fighter and discerning the reason behind the tremor she felt in the Force. "You can fly her back, your display should show you the way. I'm going to try and find out more about what's going on."
