Jacob boarded the plane, surprised that he was allowed on without an actual ticket. He sat next to Joe on the plane.

Gennady sat on his knees in the aisle. He appeared to be meditating. Renard was playing around with his biomancy a little. The old ladies and a couple terrified-looking teenagers were pretty much the only people on the plane save for the warlocks, hunters, and demons. Takeshi was using a switchblade to pick at dirt beneath his nails and one MIB - unfamiliar to Siber - was staring out a window.

"Ah, those. Yeah. They're called the Incantatis Infernum, or the 'Invocations of Hell.' They act kind of like a battle cry; kind of a substitute for when I don't have a dæmon attached to something metal, or a steroid if I do. I guess that does look kind of weird, mumbling to oneself while trying to stay alive." He grinned at the weirdness. But it worked, oh, it worked good.

Joe cocked his head. "No no, I recognize the Latin. Those are nifty, but I doubt they would do me much good."
Joe ignored him. "I mean the other thing...you always say...oh, what was it? I wanna say...Vis-Buddha? Something?"

Siber looked at Gennady in surprise, then realized: oh. "Yeah, I do. They really help out; it's a focusing technique, as well, but then again..." he began to trail off, "you probably know that if you recognize the term." Answer Joe, he looked at the guy strangely. "I don't recall ever saying one of those aloud, but... maybe I've mentioned it. The word you're thinking of is the Vishuddha. It's one of the chakras; focal points for energy recognized by Indians who study Prana. My dæmons are based around them."
The MIB on the plane bothered Siber. All of the MIBs did, really. Stupid law enforcement. He recalled a speeding ticket he had gotten once. Oh, the institutions of law and justice, designed to keep good people from having fun.

Gennady nodded. "I'm not sure how I feel about this mission, honestly. I haven't really seen any summoners since the time of the Cabal. In the Cabal, there were maybe four summoners who were... just genius with the Incanti Infernum. One of those was a summoner I attached myself to." He shifted to be leaning against a seat. The animal-like element to his features and manner remained. "I never felt more alive than when I killed to his songs."

Joe cocked his head as he listened, although he had no part in the other conversation.
"I...I coulda sworn you said something..." He shrugged. "What does that...Vis-thing do, exactly?"

Siber looked down at his hands with a grin. "I can certainly understand that sentiment. Song tends to add to most activities. My ancestor is Keldan, by the way, and I'm Siber; nice to meet you. Well... 'nice' being a relative term applied to the circumstances of our introduction."
Keldan thought as he looked the dæmon over.
To Joe, he said, "They're focal points for energy, or mana, or whatever you want to call it, in the human body, and there are seven." He went into a brief overview of the chakras, simplifying it as he could because those Hindu people had a freaking complicated set of beliefs surrounding all of them.

"Gennady," the demon introduced himself. "Keldan sounds familiar, but he's not the one I was with. Nice to meet you... like you said, about as nice as could be expected. I think I'm gonna look around the plane. I haven't been topside in a century almost - helping out my liege in, ah, subjugating enough territories and opponents to make council. I'm not too familiar with these things." Gennady stood and began to wander around.

As for me, I too am getting off. I have a lot of things I need to take care of. I can't say when I'll be on, but tomorrow night should be a safe bet.))
Joe nodded slowly. "I see. So, by focusing on my...chakras, I can gain focus my own energy? I like that..." He nodded again. "That sounds really cool. I'd like to use that, since I've pretty much been going with the first thing I think of. Thanks, little buddy." He shoved Siber again, smiling.
