Piper nodded and thought about the different types of bracelets there were. "Well what type of meterial do you mean, like leather bracelets, nickel, gold, silver, copper, brass, gemstones? It's possible for any of them, if you know what you need to engrave it with."

Iris thought a moment. "I think the bracelets are made out of gold and silver. I have some in my room, along with the rest of my possessions. I would like to set some gemstones on the bracelets for some of the transmutations I have in mind... do you think that would work?"
Iris was eager. She was grateful Piper was willing to help her. She thought about the bracelets that her mother had given her as a birthday present last year. There were 5 of them - two of which were gold and three made of silver. They were rather thick, and transmutations could easily be engraved on the surface. Well - maybe not easily... Iris was not so sure of how to do the engravings. She would have to proceed carefully.
Perhaps Piper would assist her.

"Now i guess i have to change it all back..." he grumbled, standing up and stretching. "Piper, are you ready?" he said loud enough for his voice to carry over to her as he approached the sparring grounds. He drew his sword again and tapped the hilt against the ice and a bright blue flash later the ice had changed back into dirt. He sheathed his sword and dropped to one knee for a few seconds before climbing to his starting position.
((OOC: I'm going to be out of town this weekend, but i'll be near a computer so i'll try to be on as often as possible. Oh, i'm also working on another RP that pulls from Angelic Layer. It's an anime from Clamp. If anyone's interested and maybe wants to help, just let me know ^_^))

"Gold and silver" Piper repeated as she thought. "And some gemstones." she mummbled as she opened up one of her books and began to ink some notes on a blank piece of paper. "The melting points are rather high for the metals... but it shouldn't be a problem. It'll take some prepartations, I'll need to know the designs and of course I'll need your help." she stopped scribbling on the paper, folded it up and tucked it away in her brail book. She looked up "Yeah I'm ready." She called back making sure the henna paste was now completely gone from her hands and feet. 'I think.' she thought to herself.
((I've only seen 9 episodes of angelic layer but from what I saw it's a cool show.))

"Thank you Piper," said Iris. "And good luck!" She sat forward and watched as their sparring match began.

Piper nodded, "sure, no problem." She smiled and headed out onto the field where al the matches had been held so far. She tapped the soles of her feet lightly against the soil being careful not to disturb the circles on the bottom of her feet. She hoped her stratedgy would at least work for a little while, she incorporate what little knowledge she had of offensive attacks into her plan but it was still more defensive than anything, and what she had planned would take a great deal of concentration she couldn't get distracted.

"Ladies first," he said again, holding out his hand though he knew she couldn't see it. He smiled when he spotted the henna tattoos and mentaly applauded her on her ingenuity. She took her time to prepare, very good...

Piper nodded and gave a low bow, she was sure that how most fights were suppose to start. 'She'd spent a few hours putting her stratedgy together she hoped it worked to some effect and she hoped the henna circle on the soles of her feet would stay. "Alright. lets see if this works." she mummbled quietly. and placed her palms down on the soil where she had placed on of the various circles. The was a splash of light and bit of a crackling sound sa the three main categories started to around themselves to her liking. Despite all the element she knew the crust was made of three bask things, sand, silt, and clay, and it was where most of her plan lie. She focred all of the clay to outside the ring and slowly the ground beneath their feet began to collapse. She hit her right heel hard against the soil and concentrated binding the sand under her foot, as soon as she moved her foot the bind would break and she'd be forced to make another beneath her but if things went as planned she wouldn't have to move much at all.

She'd been really well prepared...he thought as he started to sink into the sand. He bent down slowly and sighed, tired from the previous fights. Atleast this transmutation would be easier. He drew his sword and dug the hilt into the ground, the t-circle disappearing below the sand. A second or two later the grounds turned into one solid piece of glass, but scattered throughout it you could see the extra material that hadn't changed. Now how to get his feet (which were a few inches down) unstuck.

Piper felt as the ground changed, 'My defenses!' alright chill there's alway back up plans. but I wasn't even thinking about glass. It won't be as potent anymore. but I'll have to work with it. she thought as she ran through different back up plans pieceing them together here and there to form a new one. She stomped her right heel and did a part transmutation, stopping it halfway through to break through a small piece of glass that surrounded her feet. And then her new plan was set. She tapped the toes of her right foot in the sand below her feet as she tried to maintain her balance. And slowly she extracted the potassium from the soil and the roots that ran under the field. Her defenses were back up but would be muted by the glass, it would take too much energy to try and change it back so she might not have aenough energy to follow through with her plan, she was already feeling tired and the glass was causing interferrence with her so called seeing.

He tapped his sword against the glass and one blue flash later the small patch of glass around his feet turned back to sand. He stepped out and started toward her, unaware of her ability to sense and understand vibrations, he thought he could just walk right up to her and finish it. He closed the ground, or glass rather, between them at a brisk walk.

"I appologize in advance for this sir." Piper said hesitantly she didn't like the thought of hurting people or attempting to hurt people she was going to be a doctor after all. The ground was so mismatched it took a lot of thought to figure out the playing field, but she could see he was finally up out of the sand so she put her last defenses to work wasn't she if she could manage after this next stunt. She put the back of her hands together and sent them down through the small hole by her feet. Taking the oxygen and hydrogen she combined them sent the newly formed amounts of water underground and waited. seconds later the first bang of exploding glass and dirt was seen by some and heard by Piper. The water had made contact with potassium. She gave an awkward smirk, she wasn't sure if it would reach it in time. several other blasts followed the first and she wondered how much potassium was left, once she ran out of potassium, there wasn't much more she could do.

While watching Piper, Anslia decided that she didn't like the way either her or Iris fought. It was too passive... too "defense-only." Once she learned alchemy, she would be sure that her strategies remained offensive.
Still, she was slightly impressed by the thought that seemed to go into Piper's attacks. Anslia grumbled a little bit. She hated being impressed by anyone.

((Sorry for my absence everyone redface ))
After thinking inwardly for quite sometime Kain stood and walked off as Piper's sparring match continued. How coud I have lost like that. He screamed in his mind, such a simple maneuver so easy to avoid! Strolling to a small bit of grass he sat with his eyes closed replaying the battle in his mind. One day, one day, i'll get a rematch, i'll win. Kain sat cross-legged meditating on the grass feeling the movement of the world around him.
