Walking for Lyrus, thankfully, was not quite so difficult, else they would probably have never made it back to the apartment. He had always managed fairly well with holding his alcohol. Once he hit the giggly, less-than-tactful stage, he stayed that way until he either found a way to clear his head or passed out from too much to drink--usually the former. Once he stopped drinking, his system cleared surprisingly quickly.
Indeed, he was a good deal steadier on his feet by the time they reached the pawn shop and he helped her upstairs to the apartment above it. Keeping one arm stubbornly looped about her waist, he reached his free hand to flick on the light, then pulled the door closed behind them. "Home sweet home."
The apartment wasn't especially fancy. Old, perhaps, was the right word. But it was surprisingly neat and clean, an Lyrus had done well in fancying it up with what little he could afford, including various glass sculptures and designs of his own creation. The entire apartment was composed of a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen--not huge, but more than enough for the lamb Sin alone.

Whatever the case was, Mignon was glad for Lyrus' stability. Once they were inside, she stayed with her head leaning against his chest for a moment more. Giving a sigh, she opened her eyes and looked around the apartment.
"Looks pretty nice for a bat-batacha- a guy's place." She gave a slight smile at her stutter. "But nothin' less than I would've expected from you, 'Rus. 'S nice."

He couldn't help but snicker as she stumbled over the word, but smiled his thanks in response to the praise, yawning and leading her inside towards the spare bedroom. "I have an extra bed you can use. You should prob'ly crash, don't want you gettin' sick from all that. I'd never hear the end of it. You have been drunk before, right?" he added, glancing down at her with a frown. "You'll be okay on your own?"

"Feh. You think anyone lets me have any fun? Nah, I've never drank 'nuff to get drunk b'fore." She grabbed his shoulder for balance before planting a sloppy kiss on his cheek. "You are a bad, baaaaad influence, Mister Lyrus." She giggled again, blinking slowly up at him.
"You grew up soooo well, you know that?" She wrapped her arms around him again. "I wanna lay don't but I don't wanna leave you. 'Cause you'll go off to yer other girlfriends."

A sloppy kiss was still a kiss, and drunk Mignon was terribly funny... He felt a bit guilty for laughing, but really, she'd brought this upon herself. "I am," he agreed with a serious nod, only to grin as he nudged open the bedroom door. "As if we all hadn't expected it..."
Walking hindered slightly now by the way she was clinging to him, he shuffled over to the bed, using both of his hands to pry hers from his waist, then dipping one arm beneath hers, the other under her legs, and uncermoniously scooping her into his arms, only to deposit her on the bed seconds later. "Tch, I wouldn't do that to my Mignon. I'll be right here if you need anything. Or in the living room, probably."

Giving a slight squeak of surprise when she was scooped up, she blinked up at Lyrus. "Strong, too." She sighed, tossing her head slightly on the pillow. "You can stay here if you want. I don't snore."
Rolling over, she patted the pillow awkwardly. "Come over here and cuddle me, Lyrus. It'll be fun. We should totally make babies."

"We can't make babies tonight, sweetheart." Laughing softly nonetheless, he kicked off his shoes and sat on the edge of the bed near her feet, taking a moment to pull off her shoes as well and discard them on the floor before climbing onto the bed and sliding up to her side. Just because they shouldn't have sex, didn't mean he couldn't utterly abuse his privileges as house owner and protector of the drunk. He looped an arm around her waist, making a point of sneaking his hand beneath her shirt, and pressed a kiss to her temple. "You'd hate me in the morning for it. You'll hate me enough for the hangover."

Sighing, Mignon snuggled closer to him. "I'd never hate you, Lyrus. Who else could I be with? No one else is good like you." Her eyes were closed but she smiled as she spoke, voice slightly rhaspy. "Besides, I like you too much. Y'should ask me later."

"I'll ask you later," he assured her, fingers lazily wandering her stomach. "Tomorrow. Right now, you go to sleep so I can resist temptation and go watch TV. If you sleep it'll be tomorrow and we can make babies, sounds good?"

"Hmmm, okay." She didn't need too much suggestion on that level. "Night, 'Rus."

"Night, sweetheart." It wasn't long before Mignon drifted off, and, once he was sure she was truely asleep, Lyrus gave her stomach a little pat and slid of the bed, wandering back out of the room for the living room, his couch, and the TV. He shed his shirt on the way for comfort's sake and discarded it near the couch before flopping onto it and snatching up the remote.
Less than ten minutes later, he too was asleep.

"Uch." Rolling onto her stomach, Mig squeezed her eyes shut tighter and slowly attempted to get up. "What did I do?"
Well, there were pants, at least. Pants that were on her body. That was a good thing. And wherever she was, it was clean. At least that was nice.
Feeling super nauseated but not overly vomity, she made her way to the door. Eyes squinted against any light, scowling at the world, she walked into the living room. She was slightly grumbling as she walked across towards the couch, until she spotted what was sleeping on it.
"...Aw." Hungover and grouchy, there were few things that would put you in a good mood. And Lyrus belly was one of those things. "Nice, 'Rus." She muttered, leaning over the edge of the couch and planting a rhaspberry on his stomach.

Lyrus had hardly moved from the night before, and was sleeping sprawled out across the couch with one foot resting on the arm of the couch and one arm hanging off the side, the remote discarded on the floor near his hand. Mignon's approach went utterly ignored beneath the quiet droning form the still-on television. However, the raspberry on his stomach was enough to startle him awake, and he literally jumped up, eyes snapping open and searching for his attacker.
Once his vision cleared enough for him to recognize Mignon, he relaxed back down on the couch, scowling, but edging over slightly and patting the space at his side. "Goddammit it, Mignon, you scared me... Feeling better?"

"Sorry. Couldn't resist. Lyrus belly is just too alluring. You would've done the same." Grinning, she sat in the patted spot.
"I feel alright. A little icky, but nothin' too bad. How you doin'? Besides the interesting wakeup call, of course."

"Mn. Good point," he agreed, managing a grin. Without so much as a by-your-leave, he pulled his arm back onto the couch and looped it around Mignon's waist, pulling her against his side. "For having only woken up two minutes ago, not bad... Damn sore, but not bad. I need to stop sleeping on the couch."
