True, but... I'm thinking of vampire movies and generalized stereotypes that I have without quite knowing where they're from. I must have learned them before I had storyline-memory. Which would mean my parents exposed me to vampire mythology as a young child. sweatdrop

Maybe your parents are vamps?

My mom is blonde- how would that give me the black-haired vampire impression? And my dad has never been as skinny (in my lifetime anyway) as the vampires in my imagination.

Darn... That kills my theory.

Well, the only really consistent things that characterize a vampire are the temporal immortality, the unnatural beauty, and the urge to drink human blood. They don't age, they are unnaturally attractive, and they require human blood for sustenance. Also, they usually seem to sleep rarely and can have an aversion to sunlight, pale skin, occasionally with unusually colored eyes and/or hair. That is, in my experience with mythology anyway.

Let's see... Never broken a single bone... Everyone finds me stunningly beautiful (I doubt it) I love the taste of blood. I look like I'm much younger than I am... I love blood... I hardly sleep. I hate the sun (photosensitive) my skin is pale... I have purple-ish eyes... And my hair is red. Or... It should be. The real color is this terrible sandy blonde... I hate it. XD

Do I qualify?

I think so. The only thing missing is the ability to sustain yourself solely on human blood. And probably the whole undead thing. But you could probably pass as a vampire, especially if you have long, sharp canines.

You misunderstand me... I do love my friends... But you see, anyone who wanted to could share eternity with me. If I were a vampire, so could they be. And I would be fine with that...

You misunderstand me... I do love my friends... But you see, anyone who wanted to could share eternity with me. If I were a vampire, so could they be. And I would be fine with that...

But what if they didn't want to? Or what if they would, only if they could change everyone they knew? And those people wanted to change everyone they knew? Could you live in a world where no one grew old? A world where there would be no evolution of people, no reproduction for fear of overpopulation, no real change except among the animals? Everything gets boring when you have eternity.
