ANNOUNCEMENT: There will soon be a bit of a plot adjustment to the rp. I will be posting it here a bit later on, for right now, I've a few chores that need done around the house. But just to inform you all, your doing great with the rp, so please, keep up the good work. Lophus dear, I'm glad to hear from you, I, as I'm sure some of the others here, have all missed you. I pray all is going well in your life, and I look forward to hearing from you a bit more, especially in the rp. Another thing, you all know our dear Nora, well, a couple of months ago, she informed that she was sorry for her absence, and explained to me why. She may, or may not, be returning to the rp due to the circumstances in her life right now. Though, she's been on recently, I have pmed her, but have heard no response. Until I hear from her to find out what is going on, Nora may just have to phase out of the story until then...she was also going to rp as Nathan as well. She earned the role, however; if she is not going to be returning to the rp soon, Nathan's role will be open for any others who wish to play him, and due to our lack of members, I'm advertising our rp in the aformentioned rp in the other thread I created about Yunaleasca_Leith's rp. She asked me to advertise her rp in this guild, since it's a Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and SOT mixed rp. The plot actually works out quite nicely being a mixture of all those series. Anyways, she gave me permission to advertise our rp there. Thus far, there's been no interest in the rp from their end. But don't give up hope yet.
Anyways, thank you for being a part of this rp, please keep an eye out for the new plot adjustment, which will be up soon.

It would seem, the new plot is still iffy for some of us within the rp, thus, after careful consideration, and the advice of our dearest Zedd, I will be opening a separate thread, where you may all discuss the current thread, and the new one I had placed up. I will place the newer plot up on that board, so that you may all refer to it for reference. The new plot shall come from all of your formulate ideas and advice, it will emerge from the rubble of your arguments, and together, shall be a combination of everything you all agree upon.

Calintz’s eyes widened with shock, he didn’t think it was this bad. What he was hearing now was worse then the rumors he had been hearing. He quickly took control of his face again, relaxing it. “I see, its far worse then I thought.” He followed behind her for a few moments without speaking. “I’m still with you.” He said finally, he was sure, it was his honest answer.
Calintz looked around as they continued, then asked. “Are we close?”

(Yay!!!! I am the new guy. Is that something one should be proud of?)
Name: Amon Age: 30 Gender: Male Rank: Warmage guard Appearance: Tall with long black hair and red eyes, wears chainmail underneath an old tattered cloak with a large greatsword hanging on his back Personality: quiet and reserved, he only speaks when necessary Family: Ammon does not know his family History: At the age of 7 Ammon was taken from his family by a secret group of people know as warmages. At this stage in his life the warmages taught him how to use most martial weapons and parts of using his gift. After spending ten or twelve years like that he was put through cruel mental torment. This is part of the reason why he does not speak much. This mental "training" made him and other gifted children into a cold, hard, lethal stike force. Later on a rabbid bloodlust was instilled into them through forcing them to slaughter hundreds of people. In the end killing became the only thing they knew. After 21 years of harsh training the warmages were sent to attack the People's Palace in D'Hara and was annihalated by an outpost army of D'Hara. Only a few of the original warmages survived. Once captured Ammon was realized for what his kind were, puppets that were never given a choice in life and were forced to do one thing... kill. He was then pardoned by the Lord Rahl and soon became a faithful guard of the Rahl family and guests. Goal: to carry out whatever order the ramily of Richard Rahl is given to him, and to die prtecting those who freed him from the terrible existence he held. Likes/Dislikes: likes to be alone, forests, a good fight, and learning how to further use his gift. Dislikes mountains and large groups of people. Power: He learned to be somewhat proficient in the use of warlike use of his additive gift, but has no skill in the healing side of the additive gift weapons: a large greatsword, two shamshirs, and a dirk

Amon walked calmly up the road to the Wizard's Keep, his left hand resting on the hilt of one of the shamshirs he carried. He had finished the task asigned to him by the Mother Confessor. The trip from the People's Palace was alway tedious, though it wouldn't have been so hard had he not refused a horse. He hated riding, though never really had a valid reason why. The rain had lengthened his journey considerably, but he didn't mind. He liked the rain. It always had a way of clearing his thoughts.
Amon noticed another horse, as he approached the Keep. Apparently the Mother Confessor wasn't here alone, though he already knew that from the information he had gathered from the guards in the Confessor's Palace. He could only assume that they had gone in, for he didn't see them anywhere around the outside. He hated the Keep. It had always frightened him, so he decided that he would just wait outside. He waslked up to the wall and leaned against it, though never let his guard down. If there was anything good he had learned from his horrendous training, it was how to spot a threat. He wasn't about to let one show up here. He would stand watch outside, a lone sentry, not necessarily unseen, but definitely unheard.

Zedd tapped his finger on the floor as he thought. Sweat was beaded on his brow from the exaustion. A solo bead slid down his face and he wiped it off with the back of his hand.
"I think that was the Chimes. They had infected the magic of the rock aswell. I was hoping they wouldn't have affected the room down here yet, but it seems the Chimes have done a lot more damage than i had thought." Zedd got up from the floor and wiped the dust from his buttocks as he stood. He studied the Wizard's Rock in the middle of the floor. He wouldn't be trying that again soon. "But did you see what i was showing you? There can be no doubt that was Richard that we saw. Prophecy and magic are tied to him even in death."
Zedd wondered if Lophus had seen what Richard's line had done once it was hit the magic that killed him. It had kept going, dark and gray, but it didn't end like the others who had died. That could only mean one thing: Richard, atleast some aspect of him, still exists in the world of magic. He may be gone from the world of the Living, but there's something left out there somewhere.
"Zedd why did you bring me down here?"
Zedd turned to the Boundary Warden. "You may not have been able to see what we saw, but there is something i wanted to show you. Something you will be interested in." Zedd arched an eyebrow at him and got back an unsure look. Zedd walked over the the bookshelf and searched for the right book. He saw the name he was looking for. He plucked it from the shelf and laid it on the table with the title The House of Rahl: Protectors of the D'Haran people facing up at them.

*well since no one is going to post I’ll post again. I’d hate for this RP to die.*
Calintz looked around again and noticed the room began to open up again, he turned to the Mother Confessor. “Where are we now?” He asked, as he looked around. He still made sure to follow closely, he didn’t want to get lost. She had managed to scare him to the point that he didn’t want to take ten steps away from her in the Keep. She had made it sound so easy to get lost, he had no doubt in his mind she was telling the truth.
Calintz remembered something and asked the Mother Confessor. “Are we close to were you want to go?” He had noticed they seemed to slow down alittle as the continued on.

" We are close to the center of the Keep," she replied in a firm tone, glancing around at the all to familiar surroundings of the Keep. Amara noted how close on her heels Calintz followed her, almost like a faithful dog. A small smile spread across her lips as she watched him for a moment. She could recall times when she had stayed close to her mother and father when she had first come to the Keep for fear of getting lost.
Just as Amara had made it quite clear to Calintz how simple it was to get lost, her parents had done the same for her and her brother. Pausing at a simple intersection of corridors and passages, Amara glanced over her shoulder at Calintz.
" We are nearly there yes, I am quite sure of where Zedd and my brother are, and that is where we are headed, though we will have to wait outside the doors for them to emerge, we musn't disturb them while they are inside." With that Amara turned on a heel and headed down a corridor to her left.

Zedd returned the Wizards Rock back to its smaller state which he then put it into his pocket. Rather not have anyone accidently stepping onto it without knowing the potential threat.
"If I'm right, and I think I am," he paused to see if anyone was going to object, "I think that Richard might still play a vital role in what's going on in the Old World. I believe that everything that he has stirred up over the past years will not settle for quite some time. He has left some of himself in this world in a way we could not understand." Zedd scratched his chin as he looked at the spot in the middle of the room. "If that's true, and the world is still spinnig in Richard's bowl, then that can only mean trouble for us. I don't know if you've noticed, but anything involving Richard usually turns out to be a big ordeal. There very might well be a war coming."
Zedd sighed and smiled in a little knowing smile. How could he have thought everything was right with the world only shortly after Richard and changed everything. There wasn't a thing that Richard's actions hadn't affected. If anything, the world was far from right. The calm before the storm had fooled him. The only question, is this going to be a simple uprising from Richard's remaining enemy? or was this going to be another war, potentially on a scale even greater than against Jagang? In his heart, he felt that this was going to be no small ordeal. He sighed, there was no way to know.
But something made him think there was vitsl information yet to be had, that could turn the advantage to them from the start before anything ever happened.
And he felt it was in that book.
Zedd turned to Hack. "Hack, that is a special book. You know how some books can only be read by those with the gift? Well, this works the opposite way i think. I looked inside and the pages were blank. Can you see words?"

Hack flipped open the book. There were pictures and diagrams of all kinds of things. The book was full of words and art. He wondered how Zedd could not see them.
"Yes, i can see everything fine. Words, aswell as pictures, diagrams, charts, equations and --"
"What?" Zedd stared at him in an almost threatening manner. "Diagrams and equations? Are you sure?"
Hack looked down at the pages as he flipped through them. There were definately all kinds of mathematical equations and symbols and thing he couldn't understand, but they seemed like they were important, like they were instructional or explanations of how things worked. But he couldn't make heads or tails of it.
"I'm sure. They're far beyond anything I can comprehend. Wait, here's something." He looked at the first page. The words seemed to gleam with green light as he read them over.
"It says here: You are reading this because you are special. You are special by being normal. You do not have the gift, you are not pristinely ungifted, you do not have the gift of Prophecy, you have had no direct interaction with magic. Reading prophecy does not count. You are pure. You are the Key."
He looked back up at Zedd. Zedd's face was drained and very grim looking.
"Hack would you happen to know Rulic Eklerrit?"
Hack was taken aback by the question. He had no idea what Zedd was talking about. "Who is that?"
Any color left if Zedd's face drained and he was plae as a ghost. The hairs on the back of Hack's neck stood on end. He realized he felt very worried about what Zedd knew.
"Dear spirits. . . . " is all that came out before he swept from the room. Hack shared a look with Lophus and they both hurried after him.

Calintz looked around once more and then back to the Mother Confessor. He wanted to hurry up and get out of here. He didn't like the idea of getting lost in here. But he didn't want to rush the Mother Confessor, si he remained quiet the rest of the way, following behind.

Zedd's head was spinning so fast he thought it would fall off any second. Thoughts, questions, fears, and doubt spun around too quick for him think clearly.
He wished dearly that the wizards he once knew long ago were still around. He needed people to talk to. People that knew not just a great deal about magic, but about the land known as D'Hara and its sister lands. Zedd had only heard when he was young about D'Hara, long long ago, being one of the sister lands. How many there were? He had no idea, but he was pretty sure there were two or three or more. One he did know of, and its name was Rondolin. It was the closest one to them and at one time D'Hara had ties with. The visitors from this land were few, but they did exist. But he needed someone...old... Someone who...holds a great deal of knowledge... Someone who knows their history... Someone who is close to a thousand years old...
Nathan. The Palace of the Prophets also held thousands of books as old as the ones in the Keep. Ann and Nathan had spent their lives studying books of prophecy and history. If there was anyone alive who would know anything use now, it would be Nathan.
Zedd was only dimly aware that Hack and Lophus had followed him. The sound of their feet running didn't even phase him. But this was beyond their comprehention anyway.
As he whipped around a corner, he found himself face-to-face with Amara. She startled him to the point that he jumped backwards and threw a hand out at her as if to make her stop. But she was just standing there, with a confused look on her face; it was Zedd that had almost walked into her. Only then did he notice that the boy with the Doppelganger skill was with her. Both of them gave him a confised, questioning look suggesting that they knew something was wrong.

Amara jumped slightly as Zedd came around the corner. She hadn't expected him to come rushing around the corner so quickly that he nearly collided with her. Zedd must have been clearly startled as well, for he head thrown out a hand as if to stop her when he had jumped backwards. A puzzled expression overcame her soft features as she glanced behind Zedd to see her brother and Hack catching up to him. A quizzical glance at Zedd told Amara that Zedd had rushed off without even waiting for the two of them to keep pace with him, instead, he had allowed them ro run behind him to keep up with his long strides. Long legs tended to run in Amara's family, thus; both she and her brother had long legs like their parents, and their great-grandfather as well.
Amara knew by the look in Zedd's hazel eyes that something was terribly wrong. Inhaling sharply, Amara placed a comforting hand upon Zedd's arm.
" Zedd....what is it?," Amara asked in a clear, firm tone.
{{ *cackles* I'm forming a love triangle plot in my mind.....where Amara has feelings for Darken...sort of...but then....theres Amon.....whom she comes to like as well....*cackles* I love ploting. >w< }}

Calintz looked up in surprise at the suddenly surprise of Zedd coming around the corner. He remain behind the Mother Confessor, but had a puzzled look on his face. He sensed something was wrong, but couldn't tell what it was. He just stood there looking back and forth between Zedd and Amara.
((hmmm....are we three the only ones posting now? I had held off to wait and let someone else post, but....what happened?))

Zedd appraised her eyes. She was only slightly startled by his appearance. He wondered why he hadn't sensed her with his gift, but he supposed he was far to distracted to have noticed.
The tone of her voice indicated worry but a strong almost demand to know what was wrong. He debated telling her everything, but it was not the time. He couldn't waste time explaining everything to every individual he came across. Besides, he didn't understand it all yet anyway.
"I need to go and see Nathan right now. i must leave immediately. Several things have come to my attention and I do not understand everything yet, but i do not have time to discuss them now. Has Darken already left on his way to the People's Palace? I suppose he already has, hasn't he?" Zedd rubbed his chin as he thought a moment. But it was clear what he had to do. " I have to go after him. I need to get to the People's Palace as soon as possible. Hack, you must come with me, and It's probably a good idea for Lophus to follow aswell. The rest of you may follow if you wish, but i will not slow for you. Darken already has good time on us, I need to move quickly to catch him."
Both Hack and Lophus nodded their understanding.
Zedd motioned for Amara to follow. Together they started their way back up while they talked.
