Hiru snapped out of his hungry trance when Masanori quickly reasoned with him. Hiru didn't really know why there was something reassuring about the guy, he trusted him. Still, it seemed as though he had just been dragged into something that would be long and tedious.
"Okay Masanori I'll help you out, but first, I have got to get authorization to leave the village. You should try to find a few people before we go, they could always prove helpful in some way.", he said. "I'll be in the Hoshigaki compound, I'll get back in a few minutes!", he concluded, surfing away.-------------------------------------------------
"Do you really have to take that guy with you...?", the crab asked, kowing very well he could prove useful in some isolated situations.
"Okay get 1 or 2 other people and let's go, we don't have all day after all! I'll explain once everyone is here.", he conluded.

"Yeah, yeah. See ya' soon Hiru-kun." he waved his test-subject good bye before turning on his heel to then begin to walk. "Yes I do. He is a guy of little brain and alot of brawn. An ideal person to lead.". His reply seemed to be ignored before the crab began to talk once again. "Sure.. People.. Where the hell do I find ninjas? I usually don't hang out with anyone from my former class." he scoped the area, looking from side to side, while all the time restraining from knocking the little crab over by his chin. Soon enough, when they passed the library, Masanori could hear some ruckus, a ruckus no one in the village could ignore due to the volume of itself.

Shinzu walked out of the library, obviously still not sure why Gennosuke was mad at him it was just a harmless prank, right? He then ran into Masanori, good old odd looking Masanori. "Oh hi." He said to him when he noticed the crab. "Uh what in the world is that? Ohhhh you're going to cook it for lunch aren't you?" He told Masanori as he eyed the weird crab, something was off about it.

He instantly thought "big misstake.." once his former classmate had mentioned eating the crab. "No, no, no" he waved his hands back and forth infront of Shinzu. "he is a friend of mine. This is.." he swallowed his pride, just to stand out as an good guy. "the prince of the king crab of Kirigakure". He pointed his finger towards the red little thing on his shoulder. "I am gathering people for a mission that are gonna take place shortly.." he scoped the boy up and down. "Uhm.. I have no idea how good you are but you are probably better than no one at all." he smiled brightly while scartching the back of his head.

"King Crabs have a hierarchy?" Shinzu laughed at the thought but he could tell Masanori was serious and he stopped relatively soon after. "A mission huh? Well I have nothing planned today so I'm in." He said with a smile, things had been slow lately besides it might get his mind off traveling. "What exactly does this mission entail will there be any combat or what?"

 Hiru surfed back to the village, a small mission briefing scroll hanging from his belt. He stopped next to Masanori and Shinzu.
"Okay we've been allowed to leave the village for this short excursion, apparently, this is considered a diplomatic mission by the higher ops. So everyone, wear your forehead protector and make sure it is visible at all times.", Hiru explained, showing a bit more authority than he had used to.
"I've been put in charge of this mission, so if you need anything let me know!", Hiru concluded. He looked at Masanori and asked "You managed to find others?".

Masanori's seat of power was threatened by Hiru's new leadership, so he stepped his game up and straightened his back. "Just one at the moment, Shinzu, former classmate of ours. Ranked of Genin." he looked at the boy again, judging from his phsyical condidtion, he would guess he was a fighter as Hiru. "Probably a combatant.". He looked between the two. "Hrm.. I am so out of league right here.. If this isn't a information gathering mission, I have little use.. I better look important instead of doing important stuff." he scruffed around with his hair. "Could you brief us about the mission while we walk?" he started to remove the headband around his wrist to then strap it around his forehead.

"A diplomatic mission, huh? Where to? If it's far off I'll have to go pack." He said to Hiru, 'And perhaps I won't have to come back.' He thought somewhat joyfully. Regardless of wether or not he'd get the chance to escape and be free of boring Kiri, it'd still be nice to see other places. With any luck it'd be in Konaha and he'd be able to say hi to Andou-sensei. He also went over a mental checklist of what weapons to bring, he'd bring his katana and two kunai without a doubt but bringing a few tags might be useful.

The crab jumped a bit when he learned that the drooling shark man had been put in charge of the mission by the Kirigakure high ops. "Remember something fin boy, I'M the one in charge here, and if you try anything funny at my expense you will pay the price! As first in command, I name Ex-Blonde-Now-Weird-Kid here my second!", he clarified. "On another note, we are satisfied that Kirigakure dispaches a diplomatic envoy at our attention, such a gesture of good faith and judgement will be remembered fondly", he added, changing to a more solemn tone.
"The problem is the following, the Grand Duke of the Royal Crabs had come here to check on his subjects a while ago and has not been seen or heard from since. Such a thing is... surprising... to say the least given his size and overall attitude.", he explained. "We have strong reasons to believe he might be held captive somewhere in the Water Country, and actually not too far from Kirigakure since he had come in the area and moving him around could be... problematic."
"I don't know who to ask or how to do it exactly, I just need you guys to find out where he is and get him back. Whatever the means..."
[Spread out and ask around Kirigakure for info]
Edit: Precision, go around the various locations of the village and ask the NPCs for information. You can use intimidation, diplomacy or seduction to get your means. Of course, many NPCs will have no idea what you're talking about, you need to proceed wisely!-------------------------------------------------------------  "Oh great... information gathering..." Hiru sighed. "Well this is going to be just like old times Masanori, find out what we need to do and come and find me at the Hoshigaki compound, I'll be waiting there so I won't get in your way", he told his old genin cell partner as he was walking away.
Hiru turned around for a second and added, "Oh and this time if you meet a few girls on your way, don't keep them all to yourself as usual, tell them there's a cute shark man from ANBU who's available...", he shyly asked before continuing on his way.

"If you didn't remember.. I failed at gathering that information.. And the only one who actually got something out of that day.. Was you.. A**hole.." Masanori was very sensitive when it came to his charming ways. No one were to best him, ever. After a few secounds of inner curse words and imagination multiple scenario's when he kills Hiru, Masanori turns to Shinzu. "So, are you up for some questioning? I have came up with a few suggestions where possible information might be. Bartender's get to hear alot of stories while attending bars or taverns, influenced people tend to easily spoil secrets. There is also a fortune teller in the housing district that may know something, it is said she is magical but I think she is just very picky with men.." he abruptly stopped and went quiet for a few secounds, not knowing what to do now that he'd already said it. He decided to continue even tough reaviling a huge part of his shame-box that only Hiru knew about. "Aaaand! There is the academy, where alot of higher-ranked ninjas are. They usually sit on all kinds of information that might be used, and since it is regarding the royal king crabs. I am sure they are willing to help out"
Without giving Shinzu the time to choose between the three options. Masanori quickly picked the bar. "So I'll take the bar. You can choose whatever."
And with that, Masanori turned on his heel and started walking towards the nearest bar, "The Cloudy Mist of Misty-clouds". A bar famous for it's extremly annoying name. He enterd the bar with a confidence above all else and went up to the bartender. "Hey," he said with a friendly tone. "I know that you bartenders have a great deal of information gathered upon you the days that you work," he nodded in understanding to what he had just said. "and you serve in a big role of the shinobi. You contribute! Contribute to such a great deal that I am some times touched! And with that I would just ask you if you've heard something about a giant crab being sealed off somewhere?"

"What the f***'s your problem twirp?", yelled the man who's eyes were now probably twice the size of Masanori's head. "You think you're funny? You think you can come into the great Cloudy-Mist of Misty-Clouds and make fun of me?!", he added, banging on the counter like a mad man.
"You get your sissy a** outta my bar right now!", he added, literally tossing a sake pitcher at his head. "And for your information, if anyone's got crabs in here it's you!"

"Ouch!" he shouted when getting the glass launched right into his forehead. "you freaking jerk!" he crouched over and held his hand against his forehead. Then again, maybe he.. Could he? He didn't care about if someone saw him, a ninja would have to do what he had to do to. Quietly took of his shirt, and grabbed the crab. Then threw the enormous shirt, right onto the crab to keep him from hearing, or viewing. In a flash he was up to his feet again, half-naked, his eyes piercing through the man's soul. "Please..," he didn't need any other words. With his mouth fairly open looked extremly sexy, and the wound that the man had caused would may aid to the bartenders sympathic side.

(( rofl rofl )) The large man behind the counter puked up a little at the sight of a 14 year old boy trying to act sexy to a 30 something man. In his stupor, he was completely paralyzed. "Egh.. ad..", is all that came out of his mouth.
Same could not be said about his daughter, however.-----------------------------------------------------------  From the kitchen leaped out a girl who nearly threw herself over the counter.
"The Ramen shop! I heard someone at the ramen shop talking about big crab!", she nearly yelled, trying to jump over the tables. "I'll go with you, I'll go with you!", she added, jumping on the shirtless Appollo.------------------------------------------------------------ Behind the counter, the bartender's face turned to a bright crimson as he pulled out an axe that was just about twice Masanori's size.
"GET - OUT - OF - HERE."
