Miki grinned, understanding. "Weellll, you know, I just ate about 20 minutes ago. It'll be a few hours."

"You guys are so evil...." Tempest said, with a huff. "Not even letting a starving fox eat in a storm when he's cold." He said giving a pout to Miki.
"Joking bro." Pyre said, throwing half a fish at him. "Seriously though, wait."

Katachii Anrea Katachii Rae chuckled. "My nightmares consist of noise. To be here, among all of this...discordance, reminds me greatly of the time spent with my family, if you wish to call them that. Gods willing, their souls are being tortured as we speak," she said bitterly. "It is that very sameness that you despise that keeps me sane. Where others see boredom I suppose, I see a world where I am not afraid that something will change. Like my family did."
Rina wondered what terrible things Rae's family had done, to make the other modifox wish so much pain upon their souls. Rina could not imagine her own family doing any such terrible things, yet she knew that there were terrible people out there, and those terrible people could not be without family of their own. Rina felt pity for Rae, for whatever the other had gone through that was so horrible.
"Perhaps if I had visited for longer, I could more fully understand what you are speaking about." Perhaps, with leave from one of the Kousetsu members, Rina would return, so that she could comprehend this magic of the Kousetsu lands. She knew that such a still and silent place was not for her, though. To be without the sounds and signs of life all around her, to not hear the song of birds or the movement of prey through grass...No, the Kousetsu lands were no home of hers.

Miki grinned at her mate. "So impatient, honestly."
Rae quickly slipped her 6 BCRs back onto her tail and kept walking. She grinned and shook her head. "I'm sorry I cannot explain better. Perhaps you should visit again. I know you will probably never call Kousetsu home, but it would be nice to see you around. I'm sure Rain would like to know how you are faring."

"Well, I am an adrenaline junkie!" Tempest said, eating it whole. "Yeah, I can wait for a couple of hours now." He said, nuzzling her cheek.
"I'm getting worried about Rae and the BCR's." Pyre said, with a worried look on his face. "Anyone want to come help me look for her?" He said at the mouth of the cave.

Miki nipped playfully at Tempest's ear. "Good to know. I'd hate to have to figure out what to do with your dead body after you starved to death." She turned back to Pyre. "I'm sure she's fine, if there's one thing Rae's always excelled at doing, it's taking care of herself. But if you're adamant, I'll go with you."

"I'm sure she can, but I'm also sure she would appreciate shelter." Tempest said walking out. "Tempest, you're coming too. Miki, you should stay here and talk about girl stuff or something. I don't want you sick." Pyre said walking out.
"Kay, I'm coming." Tempest said, giving Miki a lick on the cheek before going out.

Miki snarled angrily. She was sick of this view everyone had of her as weak. She thought she had escaped this at home, but here she was, being subjected to it again. She charged after the two, catching up quickly. She walked in front of them, making her displeasure known.

"Idiot." Tempest said, smacking Pyre upside the head. He rushed up to Miki, and trotted along beside her. "Just ignore him."
"a**." Pyre said, biting Tempest's tail after getting hit. "Fine, you two go." He said, going back into the cave and staring at the bonfire he had made.

Rae heard the sound of two foxes nearby. She sighed and called out. "I'm fine, Miki. Tempest. Honestly."
Miki blinked in surprise. Her ability to tell who was coming was as scary as Loki's.

"Okay! Can we take the BCR's though? Don't want them to get like colds once they're born." Tempest said, giving her a hopeful look. He really wanted to bond with the little guys and girls.
