Xue abandons his plea for Jun's attantion and wanders over.
"I..." Was she? The tea tasted awful and not everyone was nice. But not everyone was as bad as she'd thought either. "It's okay," she mused aloud, "but very different from what I thought it would be in some ways."

It's not an easy question to ask, but Melete is well aware that neither world is perfect. Neilan is just better. But that might not be true for everyone...

The answer is understandable, but Melete can't help but roll her eyes. "Not that kind of ability, but they leave people out for plenty of other things. Anything Gaians don't have, they don't care about."

The last words of her tirade are delivered a bit more harshly than she intended, and when she finishes, her cheeks are slightly flushed with quickly fading rage.
"I... I'm sorry," she whispers.

Completely bored, he plops himself in the floor.
Somehow Melete manages to process that statement cleanly, answering it with a shrug of her own. "If you say so, Miss Keth."

As for Nusumu, she will be having Achroma tea with biscuits. 3nodding

Junyi doesn't seem to hear Melete's thoughts. "I think Vilden mentioned you specifically, come to think of it," she murmurs as she shuffles behind the counter to fill orders. "He was hoping you'd stop by so I could say hi to you for him. He's been spending the week back home; a little busy, come to think of it."
A laugh. "I hope he didn't scar you for life with his antics. He tends to get a little out of hand sometimes."

Oh, that's okay! Auntie Nusumu doesn't want to push sweet Junling!
Melete brightens a little. "Oh, no! Mister Vilden was very nice, and... amazing, really. It was so amazing." Her eyes take on a dazed quality as she talks. "The things that got said... and how he said them! And even just the look. I never dreamed I'd see something like that!"
