Paige's attention was caught as Minya yelled over her shoulder at them all, still shivering a little bit from the cold of the upper atmosphere. The long flight had made even her muscles cramp up between the need to hang on and the cold. She hunkered down into Tare's mane further, holding in preparation for she thought he was going to dive after the european. Slowly realizing that he was talking to Kori, she sat up a bit. "Kori, Tare, I could hold the little one if you both need to concentrate." She offered tentatively. It was the least she could do, having taken the japanese's back and forgotten to talk to him about Asayake and Shinju through the whole trip from her own cold.

The little dragon had curled down safely in Kori's mane and was holding on tight. He... She... It? had sensed the coming landing and secured himself.
"It's okay, I got him! You just hold on!"
((Hurr, sorry. I am lazy, and... ...lazy, and...I kept forgetting.))

They were close enough to the ground now, and Rosemary spread her own wings. Tensing up her hind legs, Rosemary tried to take flight. She half fell at first but got herself right-side-up in the end. Flapping only occasionally, Rosemary descended with all the other Kyn. It was nice to be able to fly with her own wings!
Circling around on a nice thermos, Rosemary waited for someone else to land. With all the scenery that could cover her up, some other kyn might step on her during their landing! No, best to wait till everyone's settled down before landing herself.

"Hold tight, Paige! Ready?" Tare dipped down into the clouds, and when Paige had a firm grip on his mane and sides, he dove into the air stream and was nearly thrown away! He took a firm grip, though, and fought his way down through it. "Agh! This wind is insane!"
But then they were through. The glittering blue water made Tare gasp, and he whispered, "Just wait until Asayake hears about this... it's beautiful..." he turned to watch for Kori, ready to fly back into the stream and help her through.

Minya's wings flattened out further, gliding her over the field of flowers and onto a small sandy incline. For a few moments after landing she kept her wings spread, trying to let the muscles relax before tucking them away behind her. She shook herself from head to tail, vigorously, getting rid of sweat and some fine salt spray. Slowly then, she turned her head to look over the group to see if they had lost anyone.
The field of flowers did indeed seem to be of every color of the rainbow. But there was something odd about them, about the whole island. Beyond the sheer oddness of it being out in the middle of the ocean, swamped with magical energies to the extent of stamping out the kyns' own powers, was the fact that there didn't seem to be anything else alive on the island. At least, not in the area they were - besides the flowers of course.
Aedan slipped off of Minya's neck, stretching himself out and yawrning a bit. A long flight always made him stiff, and it was good to have his feet back on the ground where it belonged. You realize that they're already not listening, Aedan's thoughts drifted towards Minya, and the European shook her head sadly. It's not important here. I'll remind them again. Important here or not, it was disturbing. They were too large a group and far too much damage could be done.

poke had doved down a little, using the water to help herself relax and "warm" herself up a bit, since this was the ocean and all. Although exactly where in the ocean she had no idea. she swam upwards and broke the surface, in the process grabbing onto draco's tail. "It's okay! don't worry I'm fine" she shouted, and then swung herself into the surf only to be barrel rolled onto the beach.
Walking up onto the sand she was amazed to see in the distance many flowers. Tulips, francepenies, hibicuses..Hell even flowers she had never seen before. He attention then drawn to aedan and Minya shaking themselves off. She walked over to them and watched the large dragon shake her head at something.
"the waters nice" poke told them both, having nothing better nor more intellegent to say

Magnus was very much relieved that nothing was wrong, and glided swiftly the rest of the way to the island. He angled his wings upward, so that his flight went up into a stall, and fell the last few feet to land on his hindlegs before allowing his heavy bulk to fall forwards. Rotating his wings in his joints to loosen them up before rejoining Minya, the enduring Canadian Kyn looked about for Myrrh. A couple of the flowers - silver, white and blue, some with red centres - caught his eye, and he thought about plucking them for her, but didn't Minya say this was where Kyns came from, or something of that nature? What if these flowers were unborn Kyns? Suppressing a little shudder, Draco took great care to not crush any of the tender plants beneath his massive feet.

Myrrh landed carefully where the surf met the sand, stalling as Magnus had. This way any downward draft wouldn't kick up too much soil...Which seemed like a good idea. There was a quality to this place, an almost eerie quietude that said this place should be disturbed not at all or as little as possible. The silver kyn's wings dipped wearily, the muscles twitching rhythmically under her scales as she panted and shook off her own sweat. Forcing her sore wings up into their resting position, she made her way delicately toward Minya and Aedan, calling back toward Qwerrty. "Best stay close. Don't want to damage anything. Something uncanny about this place..."

Minya's tail swayed back and forth a bit as she waited for the others to approach. She, like Aedan, had her own doubts and fears about everything inwardly but was at least willing to give things a chance. Her nervousness did not outwardly manifest itself besides that small, idle motion. With a degree of exhaustion, Minya raised her head and took another small sigh. "I am glad that everyone has made it alright. We still have much walking to do, I'm afraid. At the least, you can rest your wings." Slowly the European turned away from the crowd and began a slow pace inland down a path that had no flowers on it - one that looked worn with use.
Aedan followed after her, but not before addressing the crowd himself. "Once more, I urge you to not get lost or stray behind. Don't touch anything, either. The magic here is powerful and uncertain - the same principals that created you can undo you just as easily. Magic has no bounds here, and it follows none of the normal restrictions." A dire warning given with a serious face that made one wonder just how it was that Aedan knew these things. He must have experienced them at some point himself, coming to this island to find the first Kyn egg.

Tare nearly set his talons down, but pulled them up at the last second, thinking better of it. He was a powerful magician, after all. He'd rather not see what might happen if he got too close. "Paige, do you wish to get down or would you rather ride? I think I will float..."

poke immediately looked at the ground to make sure she was stepping on any of the flowers, nor touching them. With a few stretches of her cramped up legs and muscles, she walked behind miya and paige, staying as close to them as well as the other kyn as possible.
Even though she had been warned about the dangers and, was being careful, her mind couldn't help but wonder as she walked on, yawning a little and thinking about what else she and the others would find here.

Tetania carefully landed on the shore, flexed her wings a few times to loosen her stuff muscles, then folded them, glad to let them rest. She hoped that she and the other travelers would have a while to rest properly and regain their strength before starting the journey back. She wondered if there was an easier way back, particularly since it seemed impossible to get through that unusual wind by going up.
After hearing Minya and Aedan speak, and especially noting Aedan's warning, she began walking down the path, trying to stay squarely in the middle of it. She didn't want to think of what might happen if she disobeyed Aedan's instructions.

Paige was slightly surprised at the change in scenery coupled with Aedan's rather dire warning. With a hesitant glance to Tare, she shook her head slightly. "If it would be alright with you, I think that I might stay put." She was undoubtedly a little worried now, and the last thing she wanted to do was to cause Tare any trouble trying to look after her. "Besides, it's easier to talk to you like this." She had almost forgotten the reason she had wanted Tare to come.
((If that makes any sense. *little out of it atm*))

Tare nodded and slowly floated above the others, moving along with them easily and keeping them in sight. "What exactly did you want to talk about?" He slithered through the air, watching the path and keeping his eye on Minya.
