Jaft

and to answer jaft's question: it's a thinker... but i would probably only eat it if i wasn't the one who had to kill it.
ninja Savage... Lol.
The thing is... They are still "alive" when they are green despite being cut right? So that means, to not hear their screams, you'd have to eat greens when they're brown.
What say you on that?
good point.
i guess i am a savage
xd meh, i'm a hypocrit. i'm like all the other morons who say things like "oh i won't eat that! it's too cute and fuzzy!
4laugh "
rolleyes yeah.. i like beef. and i like chicken. and pork. and i find all of those animals (cows, chickens [as chickies ^^], and pigs [as babies]) adorable.
if i had to watch a mammal get killed then eat it.... chances are i would be too mortified to eat it. however i don't associate guilt of eating an animal when i don't have to kill it and be the one to watch it cower in horror before being killed. this may sound very brash but it's honestly how i see it. (sorry to the vegetarians who are mortified at my comments
gonk )
with vegetables? hell if a vegetable had the same terrified reaction, and had to be restrained while i kill it, and had the same bloody and messy outcome, i probably wouldn't eat those vegetables. *shrug*
i guess it's more the blood factor for me then. i love watcing operations on TV and blood doesn't scare me at all, but a) i really don't like being the one who shed the blood, and b) i kind of eat while not conscious to the fact that my food once lived and had blood. i can't directly associate blood with my food... for some reason it weirds me out.
eek i can just barely touch raw meat.... and i will never eat rare steak. if i'm cooking the meat and there isn't too much blood.. then sure, i'll still cook it and eat it. but massive amounts ... associated with my food
gonk it's a bit uneasy for me.
meh. i realize i probably contradicted myself a hundread times over but i tried as best i could to rationalize how i feel, and put it into words.
anywho.
