Tainted Blood by Mary Ann Mitchell was very strange. I'm in the middle of the next book in the series, The Vampire de Sade. I'm liking it best out of the books that I've read so far. It should be most interesting to see Sade up against a Voodoo Queen.
Actually I will be glad when the series is finished. I'm having too much of an overdose on vampires these past few weeks. It's a good series, I just need to read something besides vampires soon.

Recently finished An unexpected apprentice Varry lord of the rings, unless your up for loads of discriptions I wouldn't reccomend it. This book is just like LOTR in discribing, vividly, every unessasary tree in the forest. Although the discriptions are beautiful, I would like some more plot.
Inkspell Loved it, just as captivating as Inkheart. Asside from the ending, I thaught it was actualy better than Inkheart. If the author dosn't make another book, someone is goin' down!
Currently reading: The Empire of Ivory 4th book in a series I have been reading. It came out in September, but I wasn't able to get a hold of it untill recently.

Finished reading: Wicked I have to say I was dissapointed in this book. It sort of had this.... Lame overlay, maby if it was from the point of view of the Witch rather than every other micilanious character she ever comes into contact with. However, after listening to the soundtrack (After I read the book ) I have high hopes for the play. Maby I just didn't fully grasp the book.

I'm reading several different books, might be reading even more if after a successful book run either today or tmw smile
Dragonlance: love this series, reading "Dragons of the Highlord Skies". It's part 2 of the Lost Chronicles set between the first well known trilogy of Dragonlance.
"Saint Chamber", I have 7 or 8 of the books, going to look for the others to fill in the blanks so I can read them in order.
"The Art of Deduction", actually the latest in one series, I got it because it has a case dealing with Sherlock Holmes.
I'll probably be reading more later.

*looks up* You're in this Guild!? XD I had no idea! But I should have known.
Anyhow. I've been reading an adorable manga, Pixie Pop. I finished the second volume yesterday. I've also been reading The Kite Runner, and have just purchase Holly Black's sequal to Tithe, Ironside. Ironside already has me confused just from the blurb! I can't wait to read it.

I just finished My Dark Places by James Ellroy. I was on a Black Dahlia kick for awhile, which lead me to Ellroy's work.

I've just finished Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards. And I highly recommend the book, if you're into serious, sad reads-- like I am.
Now I'm currently reading The Rebels, by Sandor Marai. Another serious book.

I'm currently working on a nonfiction piece by A.J. Jacobs called The Year of Living Biblically. It's about a guy who spent a year trying to follow the Bible as literally as possible. It's really funny in spots, but slow going.

I've started on Joane Harris's Gentlemen and Players and even though I'm only on the third chapter I'm already captivated! I rather enjoy her books. Choclat was what got me started but Blackberry Wine pretty much sealed the deal on her being one of my favorite authors.
