Julian smiled warmly as Sasha fell asleep. "Sleep well, you will need the rest." he spoke softly as he looked down at her. HE lifted her gently off of her crutches, being careful not to wake her, and took her over to a nearby bench where he tenderly set her down. "And don't worry, I won't let anything bad happen to those you care about." he smiled tenderly before grabbing a pokeball and sending out Ookami. "Watch her and keep her safe while I go to the others." he told the growlithe beforepicking up Sasha's crutches and setting them beside her. With that done he made his wway back into the gym to see if the others were ready to leave.

As Kaya's PokeNav bleeped out its alert of a new message, Chloe started, jolting awake as she realized she had been snoozing.

Chloe nodded to Julian's suggestion, "I second that," she smiled. She had caught herself dozing a bit during the match, but had been trying to chalk it up to jet-lag. Charizard-lag if you want to be that picky, but whatever.

"I think Scarlet's all done. Train's the only one left," Chloe nodded, taking a scan of the arena.

"I'm about ready to call it a night myself," she admitted with a sheepish grin, realizing that she had missed the majority of the last bit of the match Scarlet had with Roark without knowing.

A Presence emerged from the shadows outside the Gym, feeling a strong will nearby. Someone, a human most likely, was feeling the strength of their own heart to do what they wanted, no matter the consequence or danger. That is Will in it's truest form. The presence was drawn to it, skirting the edges of buildings and bushes until it reached the Gym, flitting through an open window near the roof before it saw it's target. A human in a long black coat, bearing a familiar weapon and a strange gauntlet like glove on one arm. The presence flew down to him appearing as a shimmering shape in the light for a moment before it materialized before him. "Zelf!" it cried as it declared it's challenge. It sought to decide who's Will was stronger.

Kaya could only chase after Scarlet, who was wailing as she carried the wounded Star to the Pokecenter. "Nurse Joy! Nurse Joy! You gotta save my Gligar!" she cried as she entered the red roofed building. Tears were pouring from her eyes as she approached the front desk.

Nurse Joy turned to look at Scarlet and her hand immediately flew to cover her mouth. "Oh my!" she said from behind her hand as she saw the scratches gouged into the Pokemon's chest. "Aide!" she called to the back room. The call was met by a pair of Chansey dashing out with a gurney between them. They placed Star carefully onto the gurney and rushing to the ER. "We'll do the best we can but those injuries look pretty bad." Nurse Joy said before she followed her Chansey aides.

"Scarlet..." Kaya said as he finally caught up to his daughter. "DADDY!!" the little girl wailed as she turned and buried her tear streaked face into her fathers torso. "Don't worry Scarlet. He'll be fine." Kaya said as he rubbed her back gently. He picked her up and carried her to the waiting area, wondering if any of the others had seen Star's injury.

On the floor near Brayden was something familiar looking. Several drops of crimson liquid. He might have seen the Gligar take the hit but probably missed the drips of blood that had trickled from the open wounds when Scarlet had released him to thank him for his help.

Brayden saw the two flee from the gym in panic, although he had missed the initial attack that had caused the injuries to the Gligar. Looking to the gym floor revealed the flecks of blood on the ground. Brayden's eyes widened slightly as he took a closer examination.

"Uh oh..." he stated obviously, looking to Caliga worriedly. The Umbreon shrugged, she hadn't been watching the match closely enough either, apparently too occupied snickering at Brayden's icy brush with the Castform.

He looked back to the arena in the gym, to where Train was starting her battle, "I'll be right back," he promised the girl, "I'm going to go check on Kaya and Scarlet real quick."

Rising, Brayden made his way out of the gym, heading towards the Pokecenter. Caliga trailed along behind him, curious. Brayden entered the Pokecenter a short time and a few missed turns later. He spotted the bouncing Igglybuff and Castform around Scarlet and Kaya. He approached quietly, unsure as to what to say. He knew how painful it was for him to see his partners fall in battle. Brayden didn't know what he'd do if one of them got injured like that.

Careful to avoid Jester, Brayden joined the group, "I'm sorry about Star," he nodded to Scarlet.

"I'm sure he'll be fine, though," he dared, "I've seen how he can fight, so I know he's got plenty of spirit in him. He'll make it through this," he smiled faintly.

"I don't know anyone better than Nurse Joy to deal with a tough situation like this, there's a guarantee that she'll do all she can to help."

"Okay!" Train called to Chloe and Brayden, waving to everyone, since they all seemed to be leaving. She then returned her attention to Roark and his Pokemon, finally unclipping a Poke Ball from her belt and pressing the buttong, not bother to toss it into the air or anything fancy this time.

Phanphy appeared in the beam of red light, ready for battle. "Alright, Phanphy! Slam!" She said quickly, and Phanphy rushed forward to slam herself full-force into Roark's Cranidos.
