Edana was starting to worry, she had taken count of how many creatures had signed on for this journey. After flying over most of the area, it seemed that one was not nearby. ichinaou is not near. I'm not sure if he can understand telepathy or not, but I will try to locate him. He must be alone. I just hope he is well.
Edana remembers the iguion from the aerie. They are strange little creatures compared to herself. But with that in mind she left the others to find him.

Ichinaou had only moved about 30 feet in the last hour do to the pain that he was in. He could not stop and rest though no matter how badly he wanted too, the firebird was the one in dire need and he would reach it. He seen a branch in his way on the ground and shoved it to the side only to step a few more paces and fall into a hole. There was no way out of this hole for him, it was too deep and he couldn't climb.
'HELP' Ichinaou thought hoping that one of the creatures with telepathy may be able to pick up some sort of trace on him. He sat down and stared at the ground how could he be so stupid to fall into a hole. He tried his best to climb up sticking his paws in the dirt over and over but fell backwards each time.

"Here you are, why?" Everett asked, hopping along the ground. His wings had became sore from holding them in that position for a long while.

Edana could hear something. It sounded like someone in trouble. Who could this be? she thought. Still looking for Ichinaou as she tried to follow this sound in her head. It wasn't a sound that everyone could hear, only she heard it. How was someone talking only to her. It wasn't Nefar. Then in a flash she knew who. It is the lost one. I must hurry, he is in trouble.
Flying even faster, she arrived to find the poor guy in a hole. How did you end up in there?

Ichinaou grumbled and thought in his head stupid clumsyness he looked up at her hoping that she would be able to do something about helping him out of that stupid hole. Once again he tried climbing up and out on his own but he ennded up falling backwards once again. He winced as he landed on his hurt leg and sat their grumpily.

Alright, I'll see what I can find. She hunted for a vine of some kind in order to pull Ichinaous out with. Being as large as she was made it difficult to be on the ground and in the woods. Her wings scratching on the trees around them. Finally she found what she needed. Here! Grab on to this and I'll lift you out of there. Then you can use that around my neck to hold on to. I'll take us both back to the firebird.

Ichinaou was freed from the hole by the girl and bowed to her when he reached the ground as a thanks. As she had told him to do he had grabbed the vine and it was still clenched in his teeth. He was not taking any chances in falling in that hole once again.

Keelin was keeping her eyes out for the firebird, trying to remember just where he was. Pook snoozed soundly on the back of Chael.
Paige flittered next to Everett, "It seems they are saving him, silly pooch!" She blew the pup a kiss.

Everett stretched his wings, made sure he had his own pulpit, then flew straight up, out of the woods.

Well you've got a hold of that thing, are you going to wrap it around my neck for a ride? If we want to make it back to the firebird in time, we had better take off.
Edana was planning on going straight back to where the bird was waiting. It had been many days since they had all set out. She just hoped that there was still time. Edana did not want to think about any other option.

Ichinaou nodded and threw the rope around her neck, he was hoping that they would make it back in time. He did not want to think about anything bad and wanted the firebird to be well.

Chael continued looking around for any sign of Sonii, Tyler or the firebird. "I'm sure this is where we left them," he said to Keelin.

A floating pulpit came and landed on Chae'ls back, pushing Keelin off. "OUCH!" a voice said from no where.

Everett hooted happily. He could see the clearing in the distance. He was almost there. But as he flew, he wondered about the web. It wasn't made out of spiderweb....but vines covered in sticky sap. Who or what had laid them there? A trap, possibly?

Edana flew over the glade. She could sense the heat of the firebird. This was a good sign and a bad sign. Good because it meant the bird was holding on. Bad because the bird had to be really hot for her to sense it. With this she was able to set down right beside the clearing.
This is it. We have just made it. Ichinaou, can you get down ok? Be careful when you go over there. We don't want to scare the poor thing.
Edana and Ichinaou slowly approached the three of them.
