* Good choice of color.* Amara turned to her bag and pulled out a small sewing kit. * I can do it by magic, but I like to use my hands.* She pulled the cloth over and began to sew it into cloaks.

Sigilos nodded, and took some food out of the hamper. He set out a chicken, some bread, and a little wine. He pulled out two more bottles, one holding water, the other milk.
*I understand exactly what you mean. The elves have big thoughts on that. Their philosophy is, "When the the end can be obtained with a few words, it is the path that matters most." I've had to explain that to more then one person. Normally I cook by hand, but that would take too long right now, so this will have to do.*
He made a rolling motin with his wrist, and was holding some goblets. He filled one with milk, and set it in front of himself.
*What would you like, Kithra?*

* Milk, please.* Kithra watched him come up with another goblet and fill it. * Wine for me.* Amara looked up from her sewing. She felt her stomach growl, how long had it been since she had had meat. This eating like a human sucked!

Sigilos filled a goblet with wine and passed it to Amara.
*We have few hours before we can leave, so take your time. Here Kithra, try some of this.*
He passed her a plate full of meat.
*What do you think?*

Sigilos Perthro looked at Terk, impressed with her magic. "Alright, then we should keep going. It won't take long for the humans to figure out where we've gone."

Kithra began to eat, almost shoveling the food in her mouth. Amara kept on sewing, but Sigilos stared at her. *I've been living off of milk, I want real food!* She continued to eat. Amara looked up. *Can I have some of that dear?*

Sigilos looked toward Amara.
*No problem, love.*
He took anouther plate filled with the same meat from the basket, and placed it between him and Amara.
He looked back to the gorging Kithra.
*Ok, that's not cool. Just slow down, your going to hurt someone. You can't do that in the city, and you definitly can't do that when or if we meet my father.*

Kithra sucked a piece of meat into her mouth and swallowed. *Sorry, I have manners, but I'm so hungry right now.* She began to eat slowly and use her manners. Amara picked up some of the meat and put it in her mouth. *That is good. Well done dear.*

Sigilos shook his head. He picked up a peice of duck from the plater and began to chew on it. He took a sip of milk inbetween swallows.
He finished the duck and refilled his goblet, mixing just a tiny amount of powder into it from a paper packet he had in his pack, which was on the floor next to him. The milk took on a slight light-pink hue. He sipped tenderly from it.
*Not bad, but I still need to work on it.*
He turned from his milk and pulled out a gold and silver pocket watch from his pack. He opened it, and the face was covered in arcane symbols, with a background of stars. Planets moved around the dial. Sigilos studied it for a moment, then shut it and carefully placed it back in his bag.
*Anouther moment or two, and we can go.*

*What is that?* Kithra asked. Amara looked up from the platter of food and looked from Sigilos to Kithra and back.

* That pocket watch with all the moons and sunns and planets and stuff? What is it used for?* Kithra stared at Sigilos. Amara looked at Sigilos and whispered, * We need to get her with Dragons. She has so much to learn!*

He smiled.
*Not as much as you might think, she knows that stars are suns, doesn't she?*
He turned to Kithra, who was still waiting for an answer.
*That is something very old. It was given to me by an old friend of my fathers, who was very dear to me. His name is Harrow, and he is the keeper of much knowledge. If he is at the city, he will more then likely be teaching you, and we will dine with him at my fathers home. The artifact does many things, but I really only use it for telling time. It's very accurate, and never winds down.*
He turned to the enterence, and banished the stone door he had created earlier. The sky outside was still dark, but it seemed a little brighter at the eastern edge.
*Time to go. It will be dawn soon, so we can go to the city and rest there.*
He banished the food and basket in the same manner as the door, and stood up, stretching his arms. The crackle of bones echoed slightly in the cave as his bones setteled back into place.

Amara stood up gracefully in one movement, and looked outside. *Come on Kithra, we have things to do! Since you are not yet trained, you will stay between Sigilos and I. Nothing can happen to you!* Kithra nodded and came to stand beside her. Amara looked over at Sigilos. *Are you ready dear?*

He stood, and gathered his pack, setting the strap on his shoulder. He began to summon some power, gathering it about himself and the girls.
*Absolutly, love. Just wrap yourselves up before I let this lose, it's going to get cold fast.*
