Kinera nodded her head to Inferno as her, Rayl, and Kenji went down the path. "Old buddy of Shadow's I think. Only he's flaring up at something. I'm guessing its got to do with the raging battle elsewhere," Kinera stuck close to her brother whispering to him, "He's not human either." Kinera had picked up on his "aura" and read it rather easily. He was trying to cover it but it would seem that anger and frustration was getting the better of him.

Inferno noticed the huge battle aura stopped.
"Listen I don't have time now. You just think about what I said."
Inferno turned around a got ready to leave.
"One more thing. There's something different about those auras you were with. I won't hunt them down today, but if they are getting involved with you and the dragoons, than trouble will find them. Trouble always finds the dragoons."
Inferno began to walk away.
"You can't protect them forever."
Saying that, Inferno took off into a dead sprint out of the city towards Merilith, transforming once he was away from any humans. He flew to Merilith. His last words echoed in Shadow's mind. "You can't protect them forever."

Rayl shrugged the unexpected visitor off without worry. "So where is she? How much farther before we get there?"

Kenji shrugged, "I don't know. Try sensing her or something like Shadow was trying to teach us just a few minutes ago." He closed his eyes, reaching into magic void, feeling here and there around the city as he walked.
Meanwhile, Shadow was trapped between two choices: Go with the kids or follow Inferno. Shaking her head and kicking a small pebble, "Gah, I better follow them just in case demons show up.."
She slipped into the shadows and began to cover her aura, trailing the three teens.

"I know," Kinera said smirking at her brother, "I have the brains, you do all the hard work!" She flashed him a innocent and sweet smile that clearly meant she was only on this earth to tease her older brother. The stranger had gone off and Shadow was now tailing them as they walked to find the missing classmate. As they walked, Kinera couldn't help but think how long would they be able to keep others from knowing that they could actually use magic? And what about all these demons? Surely someone out there still believed in such things and would put two and two together.

Kin sighed as she walked around the place, looking around at the shop with a shopping bag. She had went out to buy some groceries, but right now, she felt like that she shouldn't head home at the moment. She felt like she should go and search for something, or someone. Kin couldn't put a finger on it, but it was someone, and she knew it.
"Do I have to go and get something else for my dad?" Kin asked herself as she continued walking, putting her free finger on her lip. Looking up at the sky, she thought in her head, trying to decide weather she was right or not. She had already picked up the groceries, so what else did she have to get? Sighing once more, her head went from looking at the sky to looking at the ground. There had to be something...
Not even knowing where she was going, she decided on letting her feet take her wherever, hoping they took her to the right place. If not... well... lets just hope that she can find her way home...

As Kin walked past a dark alley, a pair of glowing red eyes slowly openly. A few more started to appear, watching her as she continued on seemingly not knowing what was trying to see through her very soul.
A sharp jolt ran through Kenji's spine, causing him to stop and look towards the business district. "Something's over there. And it doesn't feel human." He looked at Kinera and Rayl, "Ready for some action?"

As the black haired girl walked past the alley, she did know anything that was going on inside it. Instead, Kin just continued walking, letting her feet guide her whatever. She didn't know anything about the dangers that lurked within the alleys of the city, so she was unaware of anything that was watching her.

A deformed shadow past by Kin, alerting her. She looked around the street, now noticing how deserted the road was; only several street lamps lit the way to the more populated area.
Narrowly dodging a car and causing some horns to blare out in chorus, Kenji winced at the loud noise as he and the other two behind him ran across a busy street. 'Fenrir' bouncing against his back felt uncomfortable but he felt like he could sense better if he had some kind of visual compass like his hand. "She's in the industrial district!"

After looking around the street and noticing how deserted the place was, she felt quite awkward. Right now, she wished she didn't leave her feet to leadin the way and she continued toward, more cautiously than last time. She was a sarcastic time of girl, but right now, she felt like someone was watching her; something that she didn't want to encounter. So instead of calling out in a sarcastic kind of way, she was just going to keep quiet, hoping to make it to the more populated area before anything happens.
Right now, she just wished that she was back home, instead of walking around wondering if she forgot something. She would rather be punished then feeling like she was in some type of danger...

Hunger. That is all they felt; looking at the girl walking by herself, alone in the street, she's just asking to be preyed upon, her magic drained from her lifeless body. That bloody image stuck to their twisted minds, causing the demons to growl, alerting Kin of their presence. The killing intent coming from them was so great that the lights flickered off and on rapidly over and over.
