((i couldent remember how big Zayn was, and Hatter calls anything smaller than her 'little' even if it is by like a centimeter))
Hatter waved to Fire and nodded to Zayn. "Yes, Hatter. Im glad i remembered your name, i am horrible with them." The demon reached down and plucked up Jango and balanced him in the crook of her arm. "This is Jango, he...well...he bites. He is a jar from what i have found out. What is IN the jar....no idea." Hatter poked at the jar and recieved a bite for her efforts

"At least it moves?" Zayn offered. "I picked up a lamp on my travels and some strange lady told me it was important, but so far it doesn't do anything." Said lady had also mentioned beasts, so Zayn wasn't sure if this lack of activity was a bad thing or not.
"It's kinda cute," he beamed down at the pot. Who'd have thought that merely animating a common object would be enough to completely change peoples perceptions of it, and attach things like 'cute' to it?
"So what have you been up to lately?" Zayn asked Hatter. "I didn't see you at the ball they held at the Temple... Turns out some thief stole one of the crystals!"

About time, the Dragoon thought, making his way back towards the cafe through the streets of Durem. His previous lead got nothing, nothing at all. It was probably for the best, probably a dead end. But at this rate, well, it was better than waiting around for those nobodies.
Now he had nothing again. Just some hired muscle that has been almost entirely pointless. He glanced back towards Junkan, seeing the man playing with this small fuzzy creature, letting it run across his arms and hands, occasionally tossing the fuzz ball through the air, catching it softly with his other hand.
Must have looked like circus freaks, he thought, as he drew near the cafe.

The woman maintained her silence as the conversation continued, withdrawing a map from inside her cloak to observe. On it, were a number of features however as she brushed her fingertips over it the map appeared to zoom in on the area in which she wished to see more clearer - the area in which she selected was none other than that of the catacombs and lost in her own thoughts, she continued to observe the virtually unplottable labyrinth.
Her eyes narrowed beneath her hood and she took into consideration the quickest route for both herself and her new companions - no route was the quickest with the exception of avoiding as many hordes of undead as possible which was in itself a remarkable feat.
Releasing a sigh, she grimaced and select an option that required her to block out the idle chatter, allowing her fingertip to draw along a set of corridors and towards an unchartered area of the map...that was where they needed to go.

Jango wiggled himself out of Hatter's hands and hid behind one of the demons legs. He didnt like the people, they might try to touch him.
"I've been, well lets just say i was busy." Hatter grinned. "Stole a crystal.....that cant be good. Who would have the enrve to do that?" She wondered why anyone would think they could get anything out of the crystals by stealing them.
"Is that what you guys are doing? Hunting for them?" The demon looked at the cloaked form near Fire and Zayn. "You are? You dont look familier."

"That's right!" Zayn nodded enthusiastically. It had been a rather exciting quest, to be sure. "Everyone who was there split into groups and left to search for clues. We found out that the airship the thief used belongs to the Regalia family, who have a Citadel outside Durem."
He gestured to the cloaked lady. "This is Miss Dune, and she's going to help us get into the Citadel."
And once they were there, they needed to find a way to get to the Conclave and rescue the Crystal. But one thing at a time. Zayn didn't want to overwhelm Hatter or Dune with too many details just yet... First to see if they could make it into the Citadel.

She caught up to him, breathing hard, questions comming out in short bursts, "Do.... you.... know... where... the... catacombs... are?" She was bent double, hands on her knees.
"They are somewhere outside Durem, I know that much. My friend said that's where we need to go... Do you know how to get there? " She began to drag him back towards where she had left Therin tethered, "Please say you do. We need to get there really fast... my friend might be in trouble. She needs me!"

All of this excitement had sent Fire's fears into hiding again. Aside from his team mate's conversation, he took notice of the object that appeared to be a map in Dune's hands. Out of curiousity, he looked over Dune's shoulder in astonishment of the strange map zooming into specific areas. "Wow that's neat!"
Turning to Zayn and Hatter, he called them over "Look at it, it's like... magic! Looks like we'll get there in no time."

"Oohh....so....guess that means i have something to do now." The demon grinned and fluffed the fluff on the lid of Jango. "So, she has a map? and knows where we are going?"
Hearing Fire's outburst Hatter slunk over, trying not to get into the womans personal space, and peered at the map. Not suprisingly it looked like one of the demons books, but the demon usually stayed away from ones that moved.

Catacombs...
James stopped, looking back towards his muscle, that was currently having the fuzz ball clawing up the right side of his face to get a commanding view from on top of the ogre's head. Slowly he shook his head, of course the moron would be no help unless it was asking to smash something, he thought.
"Think clearly..." he said harshly towards Quinn, "Take a deep breath, and listen. The catacombs lead to this woman, right? Or perhaps some way to help beat her?" he offered, merely thinking vocally rather than expecting an answer from the woman. His hand gripped his lance tightly, and he seemed to be looking up to the sky.
"I don't know where these specific catacombs are... but I do know that catacombs are found beneath temples... You have done recon work right? Are there any old temples in the area?"

"Ah, you have a map of the way to the Citadel, Miss Dune?" Zayn blinked in surprise before smiling. He decided against walking over for a look, as both Fire and Hatter were peering at the map already. "I'm very glad you decided to help us, then."
Peering around, Zayn tried to judge the time of day and if it was worth setting out before dark. But then he realises he didn't know how long it would take to get to the Citadel and whether or not they would reach it before 'dark'.
"So, as our map-bearer," he asked Dune, "is there anything we should do or buy before starting out?" He glanced at Dune's injured hand, obviously trying to decide if something should be done about that before setting out, but not wanting to bring it up in front of the others in case she was sensitive about it.

"Holy water." Was the only reply that Dune would give - if she were to be entirely honest it would be advise more than just a reply for the undead would be repelled by the water itself...they had never been bothered by crucifixes and she spoke from experience on that score.
Nevertheless, she soon pocketed the map once more and gave a nod as she finished her drink, rising to her feet so that the cloak finally drifted away from her lithe form to reveal the emerald travellers garb beneath, even the venecian mask could be seen smiling from within the cowl of the hood...good thing she wasn't on the opposition for some.
"And plenty of matches." She added as an after thought, aware that very few would have the capabilities to grant eternal light through the wide expanses of the catacombs.

You have done recon work right? Are there any old temples in the area?" She looked at him rather huffily and sighed, perhaps louder than was necessary, "Of course I did recon! I came and got you, didn't I? And you seem to think you are god's gift to solving this problem, so logically, you must know everything about it too..." Suddenly, she realized how silly she sounded.
"Look, the Highlord needs me! And the floating ball of light said she went to the catacombs on the outskirts of town..." She thought very hard for a moment, "I think she said something about a citidel too... Oh!," she exclaimed, just remembering the images in the staff, "Her staff... there were pictures in it. It played me a movie!" Quinn smiled and did a little dance, feeling quite special that the staff had deemed her so worthy.
"Let's see... there was this strange place all full of bubbling, icky lava; oh, and the wizarding place... conclavical or something like that; and then there was Durem -- I could see the clock tower -- and then it like, zoomed out something, because I could still see the clock tower, but then I could see rocks and water and this really huge building that looked like a big castle or a church or something on this mountainy island thing and there were airship docks... Oh! Then it showed me the crystal, it was soo cute!
The light fluff said something about necromancers and other icky people too... EW! I hope they dont steal my candy! Got any ideas?"

James tried to keep himself calm throughout the whole, rambling tirade that he seemed to have somehow triggered in the woman. He even laughed a little behind his helm, imagining himself using his lance to carve an off switch in her back. Still however, there was useful information to be gleened from that long, mostly incomprehenisble speech.
"Slow down... did the vision focus on the clock tower, or was it something that was merely within the vision?" he asked the quite hyper seeming woman. There seemed little else to go on from there, lava, wizard's "conclavical" or something... It was only through supreme discipline he didn't reach out and throttle that woman until she started making sense.
At that moment he caught something out of the corner of his eye. That orange fuzzball, padding up to Quinn's foot, and plopping right down upon her left shoe. A glare was shot back towards Junkan, but he merely smiled, showing those bone gnashing fangs and giving no answer at all.
Slowly James's gaze came back around, towards the fuzzball, then up to Quinn again, "Did you at least get supplies? A catacomb is underground after all. Rope, torches, a crowbar, a knife, and at least some food incase we're stuck down there for an extended time?"

Quinn grinned and reached down to scritch the little orange creature on its head. "Cute...is it yours? And I only mention the clock tower so you would know that I knew it was Durem... I think its that big island church castle that we need to go to..."
She stuck her tongue out at him then, "Of course I bought supplies! Let's see..." she started digging through Therin's saddle bagsand her belt pouch, "rope and matches and chalk and waterbags and food and candles and my staff and my belt knife and some fishhooks and some string and some flint and steal and a sewing kit and candy... yeah, I think I'm ready!"
Studying him, she added, "You know... its possible to be smart and nice..."
