*as soon as the words left aaron's mouth a plasma blast flew by and then kyle took his MA5B and then took out 3 grunts and told aaron to check out the hangar and he'd go down the hall and the he spotted two jackals. and shot them dead and then he felt pain on his back and saw an elite run past him and then he lost cosciousness.

*Kobra got on the Radio.*
"This is Sergaent Kobra, I'm with Gunnary Sergeant Adams, and Phoenix. We saw you'r Pelican, were is you'r current postions, do you guy have anybody wonded or Killed. Thier are mutiple Covant in the Hanger, they are loading equipment and taking supplies. We our currently outside taking as many of them as we can, Adams can't move fast and I have a sprined anckle, but Phoenix is fine. We are curnetly taking action agaist the covant running out of the Hanger. Be sure to watch you'r fire, and keep mission spes. all up to date. Kobra out."
*Kobra shoot a couple of Grunts and a Jackle. The Jackles Sniper Rilfe landed right next to Kobra. He place it next to him for easy grabbing, He took a grandade and lobbed it into the hanger. He herd a lound boom with loud roars of pain. Kobra felt relived a little bit to know that he got some of them.*

"Sorry Kobra," Phoenix replied. "but I don't have an update on our objectives. Let's just keep our cool until the Spartan arrives, okay? You wouldn't want him to end up here protecting a pile of marine corpses, would you? I sure know I wouldn't." If what Kobra says is true, and the brutes are in fact stealing UNSC ammunitions, why would they do that? The Covenant are too proud to be wanting to use our crude projectile weapons in battle, let alone steal them directly from us. "This doesn't make sense. However, it won't need to make sense if we stop the Covenant using enough firepower." Opening his COM frequency once more, Edwards broadcasted on a short range link. "/Any UNSC personnel with access to a rocket launcher would be very much appreciated in hangar twelve. The Covies are currently stealing supplies in an attempt to evac them. A case of eighty year old scotch to the winner!/" Damn, I'm gonna miss that scotch.

"They're loading supplies?" Seth was confused and honestly, a bit disturbed. checking his pouch Seth sighed, "I have two Grenads left LT, no rocket, but if they were well placed...Say in a stack of other things with a tenadancy to explode these babies could really do some damage."
Peeking in real quick Seth sighed once again.
"Course it's an awefull long way away Sir, and it'd take some damn far and accurate throwing to get that into a pile of ammunition."
"Maybe the SPARTAN sir." He said, then he swung to pick off a Jackle who ventured too far outside the Hanger doors.
Three bullets entered and left the Jackles head sending it colapsing to a pile.

Coop lifted his right arm rifle in hand, in a short while a band of jackles and grunts were mowed by his rifle rounds. He took his other hand off the steering wheel and flicked on his mic. After regaining his grip he began.
" Hanger Twelve, this is Gunnery Sargent Coop Kritake. I may not have a a luancher but I certainly have an Ice-cold turrent and a sidearm full stocked with a clip of pissed off. Over and out." Coop turned his attention to a red bleep on his attached visor. He slipped his head under the windshield as blue and green orbs splashed off the hood into vapor.

Aaron checked the hangar. He didn't find anything except a fwe grunts sleeping. "Hmm...typical." He said to himself before he killed all four.

The Scorpion's four treads came to a stop at the top of a small hill, giving him the slightest of advantages over his enemy. The point of entry was only a kilometer away from his position, but the Covenant had swarmed up to an even closer distance. Spartan-108 noted the lack of dog-fights dotting the sky above as he watched VTOL fighters darting around above the Covenant, leaving trails of explosions on the ground below them. He thanked whatever God he felt was still watching for the lack of enemy air support as he pushed the magnification of the tank and his armor to the limits. He'd play sniper with a sixty-ton tank, the main turret twitching above as he adjusted his aim delicatetely. He couldn't fire upon their front lines, as that would present the risk of friendly fire, but he could easily bite into their main forces as they flowed in from the wall.

He pressed down on the firing stud and felt the tank barely lurch backward with a deep rumble, a group of mixed Covenant flying into the air along with a mixture of brightly colored blood and dirt, leaving behind a small crater. The effective range of his coaxial was exceeded as he fired upon the wave of enemies, watching Grunts and Jackals topple over onto one another as the swarm of heavy rounds tore into their formations. The Brutes would simply take the abuse, seeming to absorb the shots he fired as they attempted to rally their frightened troops. He wanted to give the primative creatures a challenge, and did so in the form of a 90mm high-velocity round. He watched as one Brute was blown cleanly in half by one shot, painting its lesser soldiers with its vibrant blue blood before they too were engulfed in destruction.

Colonel Chenault watched as the enemy's main force was surrounded by his own, the Covenant attempting to stretch their lines to the breaking point. They held their ground, though, as the majority of their Wraith tanks had been destroyed during the first bombing runs. Some survived thanks to the protection of anti-aircraft units, and that produced a problem. The enemy had managed to create a decent foothold for their mechanized divisions at the base of the destroyed section of their wall, setting up turrets of their own while they combined their Ghost and Wraith forces that survived the suicidal drop. If they were to launch an assault with all of their armored units, they would easily punch through the Marine defense line. Knowing this, he dispatched an ODST team within the wall itself to deal with them in the most efficient way possble.

Master Sergeant Glenn Hallick casually walked through the dank, mold-coated passage beneath the Great Wall with the rest of his team, their TAC lights criss-crossing in the darkness and illuminating areas that had only known darkness for decades. He felt the solid concrete beneath his boots shudder as they neared the enemy's point of entry. They were separated from the Covenant armada by only a meter or so of soil. It was here that they were to set up their trap, which consisted purely of explosives. They carried dozens of anti-armor and anti-personel bombs with them to detonate at this single point to stall the Covenant attack. This would normally not be enough to rip through the concrete and dirt above, but the wall was already wired to explode. The tunnel itself served only to house high explosives that lined the entire underside of the wall, which had always served as a last resort in case the enemy managed to breach the perimeter. The problem, however, began with the fact that the explosive system was created before the idea of plasma charges. The lack of EMP shielding within the design allowed key transmitters to be fried in this particular section of the wall. The relatively small eplosives they carried with them would only serve to kick off the main attraction and to put a decent dent in the enemy force. Hallick always managed to go through every aspect of his missions while in the field, doing so even as he primed his group of explosives with care. Once they had set up each group of charges, wiring them all to a single detonator, he and his team swiftly pulled back from the cramped passageway. He couldn't help but think of how many they were losing as he hurried the rest of them, needing to do this before more lives were unnecessarily lost. The moment they were a good distance away and safely out of the passage, and they'd confirmed the rest of the explosives in the wall weren't armed so they couldn't lose everything, he set up the portable detonation transmitter. He confirmed the point of origin for the signal was their choke-point, before opening the small, protective plastic case and pressing the largest button on the device, hearing a satisfying thud accomapnied by a rumble that resonated throughout the Great Wall.

_______________________________________________

The crumbled section of the wall the Covenant had been using to flow freely into the human base was suddenly engulfed in a cloud of dirt and fire that shot skyward, the explosives ripping into the enemy lines as they were designed to. Once the clouds of dust and debris settled slightly, the entrance was revealed once again to both sides. The area was littered with chunks of rubble and the remains of Covenant warriors, which now lined the newly formed gash that dug into VerCrouse. The seven-meter-wide tear in the surface managed to dive even deeper, creating a decent obstacle for the enemy's hovering vehicles and a temporary line of defense for the UNSC. The Covenant already within the Base were cut off from the support of their surviving tanks, and were now without a means to retreat or hide as the humans continued with their bombing runs.

Phoenix shrugged. "I'm glad you agree, Adams. Save those grenades in case they become the last resort.
/Hangar Twelve, this is Gunnery Sergeant Coop Kritake. I may not have a a launcher but I certainly have an Ice-cold turrent and a sidearm full stocked with a clip of pissed off. Over and out./ Nodding to himself, Edwards wondered repeatedly about the Spartan's location. "I know they have a tonne or so of armour to carry about, but you'd think these guys would be quicker."

*Kobra nodded. He kept watching the Hanger, cocking his pistol back to reload it. He riped the gun dust off of his sites to he could aim better.*

"Roger sir, Hey Adams how many have you picked off? I got about seven so far."

* Tring to keep calm, so he poped a joke to settle his team mates nerve.*

" Will I say I bet I get ten more befor you get five. HA, you most likey get two. I use my pistol, you use what ever. I mean I'll still be you no matter what you do. Starting the next time a grunt come out.... Besides we need something to keep ourselvfs bussy."

* Kobra glared at Adams with a cofident smerk. I was very nevous, just beacuse it's over whilming but he tried to kep his hopes up.*

Time seemed to slow for the Spartan as he fired into the waves of Covenant, believing he could actually see each shell as it tore into his enemies. He was able to note a Jackal's sheild flashing and the small alien's left arm, along with a good portion of its upper torso, vanishing before he and a dozen of his friends were devoured by flame. He felt a strange sense of satisfaction as he slaughtered them from a distance, thoughts of Reach lining his every decision. He had always blamed himself for not being there, even though his orders were clear and he had no choice but to remain with a stealth unit on his 'special assignment'. He was nothing more than a body guard for some research team. He barely even took notice of what they were doing on that seemingly plain planet, somewhere within the far off Zeta system, as he thought of the Covenant over-running their last great fortress and killing off the rest of his class mates. Now the UNSC, the once proud military power, was reduced to redesigning an old base and desperately pushing out one warship after another with their limited resources. They had indeed fallen from their greater days thanks to a religiously-fueled army. The sense of responsiblity for the fall of Reach plagued him continuously as he fired into his now cornered enemy. He planned on giving his life to save this run-down excuse for a base to make it up to his comrades, who had done the same.

Sergent Walter Jenkins dove for a pile of rubble, blasted from the back corner of a large building which read 'HANGER 12' in large black lettering. Green plasma bolts streaked over his head, accompanied by high pitched cackling. The Sergent sprayed a few bursts over the top of the pile from his BR55 HE. He was rewarded with a high pitched squeal. A few more barks and yips as well as more plasma, told him he had to move. Jenkins waited for a gap in the fire, and peak a look around the rubble. He counted five more grunted and a blue elite. He ducked back as a hail of pink Needler shots whizzed by. He grabbed a grenade and threw it blind over the rubble, waited two seconds before diving out and around the corner of the building. He herd a satisfying Blam as the grenade detonated and the accompanying clatter of rubble and a few wet thuds of flesh. He sprinted the length of the building, M19 SSM Rocket Launcher bouncing along with him, scratching his back armor plating. He reached out for a indent in the wall, and yanked himself around the corner. He saw a few marines crouched behind some ammo crates, firing into the hanger ((Phoenix Thats you.)). He skidded up to them,"Marine! Incoming, six o'clock!" He turned his back to the marine and lay down, BR55 HE aiming back toward the corner he had just slid around.

((We aren't beside ammo boxes, but okay, will play along ^_^))

Phoenix nodded, then motioned to Kobra nearby. "Help cover our six, soldier." He reloaded his sniper rifle and sighted along the scope, firing three bullets into a brute's skull. "/Oi, Spartan? Could use some help down here, asap. Anytime you're ready, please./"

(( I assumed you were smart enough to use some kind of cover so...yeah, and I saw crates in my mind and morphed them into ammo boxes. That and covies were loading supplies. xd ))

The first grunt poked it's head around the corner, and was met with a three round burst of HE rounds to the face. The grunt squeaked, spun, and landed in a pool of it's own brilliant blue blood. Five more and the elite rushed out, plasma flying, and were met by more HE rounds. Sergent Jenkins got up on one knee, still firing. He fire three bursts into the gut of the elite, taking down it's shield. A plasma bolt whizzed by his head, scorching his ear. He stumbled and pulled the trigger. The spray of bullets caught the elites plasma rifle right down its gullet, causing it to sputter and over load. The elite roared and threw it away. It charged roaring directly at Sergent Jenkins. The Sergent made to stand up and run, but ducked down to his knees, and thew himself into the elites legs, causing him to flip over him with a surprised "Wort!", and half winding the Sergent. The Elite landed on it's back. The Sergent dropped his elbow on what served for the Elites mouth, crushing its mandibles. The elite rolled away and made to get up when Jenkins shoved his side arm down the elites throat. The elite twitched and fell to the ground. The Sergent wiped purple blood of his face and retrieved his M19 Launcher and slung it over his back as he got up. "Hows that for a party huh?" He said to the marine helping him.
