Sarya hiccuped and swallowed her crying a few times to try to stop but refused to open her eyes again. Gregorio's expression was slightly guilty but he didn't say anything to her, unable to find words.
Druw reached the hole and began to tilt forward into it. "Ah... we'll be in Spring soon," Gregorio offered, leaning back to keep balance as they slid a bit.
((I didn't think Sarya would respon to Lahn, and his comment was mostly directed at the children.))

Elly stared at him a moment before quickly plucking what was left of the haelf feather from Lahns hat and sticking the tip into the motel lave, he pulled it back with burning emberes quickly running down to the quick of the quill and stuck the now blackend stick into Lahns hat again. "Morality are for those who are afride to live how they place, or are to weak to at least." Elly huffed, hair slightly raised on the back of his neck. "Besides, you've not earn any favor from Sky or dawn so why should you bear there mark.

Gregorio twirled his feeler around his finger loosely, keeping out of the tiny argument. "Children shouldn't speak so freely," Druw, on the other hand, took a side.
They tilted far forward into the hole of the lava, perched so all four passengers could only just remain seated by leaning far back and clinging on with their legs, which Gregorio did as if from much practice. Sarya hiccuped again.

Elly glared. "And a very large meal should learn to respect predators." he pointed out, claws scratching at Drews pink shell. "Unless of course they want to be slowly eaten alive.."

Lahn glared at Elly. "Knock it off or he'll knock you off. You aren't in a real position to make demands of anyone. Now sit back and shut up."

Druw made a grumbling sound that wasn't really a word, and they finally tipped forward and nearly fell off, when the hole, the lava, and all their surroundings leaped up around them and flew far behind them soundlessly, and a second hole jumped forward from nowhere to sourround them. Druw was upright and everyone was sitting on him as if they'd never been in danger of falling off.
The scenery was far more pleasant. A field of springtime flowers, newly-blossomed was shifted by the kind breeze. Ahead of them was a majestic tree, it's trunk at least a mile wide. Scenes depicting children's stories and legends were carved all around the tree, merging in with each other as if to symbolize fate's intertwining threads. One of the roots was uplifted, so that the hollow inside of the tree could be seen aglow with faerie lights. Within the enormous tree branches looming far overhead, flying ships and boats of all colors, shapes, and sizes were anchored or going to and fro across the sky.
"Ah, the Arbor Harbor and the Court of Fashionable Symphonies. It was such a brilliant move for Her Majesty Queen Symphony to share the tree as one Court," Gregorio smiled appreciatively. "She's brought her people such change it must drive them bonkers, but it's all for the good."
"Of course it is," Druw deadpanned, "of course it wasn't Her Majesty's desire to simply rule over yet another Court."
Sarya peeked open an eye and she finally felt hopeful again. "P-pretty!"

Elly brightened too, slipping from drews back he was delighted to have his feet on tera firma again. He laughed as butterflys rose up out and out of his path as he ran around drew to strech his legs. "Bright spring~" he sighed content and let himself collapse in a heep into the sweet smelling grasses. "sary, come on done." he invited, patting some grass beside him. "Just think, we'll be at gramas soon enough~" But the happy scene was quickly changed as a pouring of water suddenly doused all those that was still on drews back. The water was a pale and dirty green...
A flying ship had just started to pass above them, seems a crew hand had dumpped the mop water without seeing them. The ship was being pulled by 5 black flying rats, each with a pair of transpaent dragon fly wings. There clws were reaching out egarly for a docking branch, looking forward to a rest and a meal. "Oi you daft illusion I told you to watch where you swung that mop!" screeched a female voice from above. A moment later a man was hurled over the edge anf landed a few feet from the party, a mop and bucket still in his hand. "...ow." he muttered through the dirt that filled his mouth. "Serves you right you ninny!" Screamed the woman again, shaking a ladel down at them from the docking boat. "That will teach ya to get a mop string in my soup!"

Little wet Sarya shivered in disgust for a silent minute before slowly climbing off the doused snail and wringing her long curls and dress of the water. Druw didn't seem to notice, while Gregorio began to complain loudly.
"That's what I get for deciding to wear a collar this century! It gets ruined!" He shook his head and sent dirty water droplets flying from the short strands while flapping his arms and wings to dry them in the same way, unsuccessfully. All the movement made it very difficult for the remaining passenger to stay on.

The sound of gregorios wings flapping was soon joined by a second pair. "You stupid a** worthless peon!" A winged woman sreeched again as her long legs that ended in feet of a bird yanked the por sailor back up from his body shape crevice. "See what you've done!" He pointed sharpy at the wet party, her feathered wings beating hard as she finnaly touched down, shaking her long brown hair, spotted feather tied in here and there that mached her wings. "I'm so sor-." she stopped as she stared at little Sarya. He black eyes widdend. "Wing sister?!"

Lahn grumbled, his outfit was constantly getting ruined one way or the other. He gave a silent curse to whoever was responsible and did his best to dry himself off.
His hat, featherless and damp, was no longer good enough to wear and he silently placed in in his bag. Tidying up his hair as best he could he turned his attention to the mysterious winged woman.

(( eek THE HAT!))
Sarya stiffened and stopped wringing out her dress, eyes wide. "I-I-I am a descendent of N-Nawat's flock of crows, Kyprioth's crows," she stuttered in Terrestral (I think that's the name?), the language of the winds. The exceedingly damp crow feather in her hair from Lei felt suddenly very precious, here, so far from home and the flock who had watched her grow up.
Behind her, Gregorio got off of Druw and removed his collar, flinging it away into nowhere and pulling a towel out of one sleeve to dry off Druw's shell. He resumed whistling to himself, letting his passengers deal with the winged bird-woman.

Her eyes went widder. "The avatar himself!?" She seemed to become almost giddy. "I knew I wasn't the only one trapped in this forsaken place!" Elly frowned as he scooted over beside Sarya, the only dry on in the party. "...your stuck?" He sighed depressed. "So you can't help us then."
The woman turned a apraising eye to the group, and she notted they were mostly fey blood, save for the small girl which is where her real interest lied. "Well this won't do for a wing sister to go about in clothes soggy from mop water." She smiled and offered a hand to sarya. "Let me find you somthing better suited to a wing sister up in the ship." THe half flattened fey groaned. "Capain may...not like that.." He muttered through the dirt agian. The womans smile vanished compleaty as he turned and kicked the fey hard with his taloned feet. "And Captain will deffently not like what YOU did to dinner!" She huffed, turning sweet as she looked to sarya. "Please, it would look ill on my clan if I did not show the respect to you that you deserve dear wing sister."
Elly looked annoyed as he was being ignored. He looked up at the large ship that had docked, the flying rats eating from feed bags happily. "Wow....it looks like a pirate ship from a story book....that..has flying rats.." The woman grinned and finnaly aknowlaged Elly. "Lovely isn't it~"

"First a snail then a rat drawn boat... we're going first class today aren't we?" Lahn joked under his breath.
He wasn't entirely sure what was transpiring but the boat looked like it moved faster. The sooner he was out of here the better.
Somewhere, an audience waited. With drinks.
