As Destiny did the dishes, Aeoess came in to help. Working together, the dishes were soon done. After they were finished, Destiny excused herself, went back to her room, and re-donned her fine frippery, and came back to the galley. She sat down at a table in the back and leaned up against a wall. She propped her feet on the bench next to her, and seemed to relax just a little bit. She gestured for Aeoess to sit down across from her, and said:

Aeoess, if you want to put your finery on for the last meal, feel free. I would like to wait till most of the crew is here before eating, so we have some time. I'll be here when you get back.

Destiny sighed, and a shadow seemed to pass through her eyes before showing hope again.

I know the Captain has a plan now..I wasn't sure earlier, but I'm sure of it now. Other than asking me to burn all the fats, some tar, and things to make thick black smoke, he hasn't told me any more that that.
I just hope the crew gets here before too long, otherwise the hot food will get cold, and the cold food get warm.. she paused for a moment, then continued " If you get away from the Lady, where will you go?

She got up and poured herself a goblet of wine, and sat back down on the bench to wait for the crew.

Upon seeing Ares walk in and grab a drink, Destiny walked over and said

" Welcome. Would you care for an appetizer while we wait for the rest of the csrew to arrive? I have some small biscuits with some jam, some small peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, some spiced wine, or some cheese and crackers. What would be your pleasure?

Destiny held out a tray with an assortment of snacks, and a few goblets of wine to Ares and Aeoess, hoping that they would take something. It felt acquward for her to just sit in the corner doing nothing.

*Aeoess walks to Destiny*

"I'll be going back to my home, to face everything I fear..."

*She then laughs a little*
"..If, of course, burning fat and tar will get us out of our current mess."

*After answering Destiny's question she gets a little bit of wine, then she finds some fish and puts it on a plate. She then sits at the table and sits the plate by herself so Eittik could eat beside her as they were waiting r the rest of the crew.*

-: Descending into the bowels of the ship, Captain Kurisutofa ducks low so as not to smash his skull on the deckbeams. Handing Miss Midnight off the steps, he follows her to the mess table where the crew has already begun to gather around. Some looked glum, such as Ares, but that seemed to be her only expression now days: grimacing and low. It had been rather along time since last he had seen her smile and conversate openly at length. But maybe that was asking too much, besides Dr. Baxter was of the same way of thinking. Apparently, one had to have a sorry disposition now days in order to survive. Noting to try it out sometime, Jack nodded to Ares, Aeoess, John & Destiny as he took his seat at the head of the table.

"An excellent presentation, Miss Destiny. Well done. Though, remember feed yourself too, for I want the entire crew fat and happy when and if we go yardarm to yardarm with the Boadicea. But, I'll say no more of that.. unless of course, any of you have any questions..." He smirked as he said this last bit, for he knew full well that they would swarm him with questions the moment he closed his lips. Though, hopefully they'd at least wait for the rest of the crew toa rrive so he wouldn't hae to answer any question twice. He'd kill the first person that made him repeat himself. Yet for now, he'd hold off on the bloodshed and just sit back and flow with the topic of conversation at it came at him. But first, a breif order to someone near at hand. "Would someone bear a hand and fetch anyone who is still ondeck and bring them below? I am sorry to say that it seems that this bunch of lollygaggers seems to include the dear Doctor: If he so refuses to join us, you have my permission to shoot him. But please do mention it being my orders before you do so. Courtesy and all that..":-

*she raises her hand to get the Captain's attention. Her look was of solemn curiousity*
Sir, what's going to happen? I know you have this plague bit, but what are we going to do?

Syn slipped into the Galley silently, the short girl slinking to the back and sitting down without touching a bite of food to listen to the Captain. She straightened her rather shabby clothing uncomfortably, occasionally aware of her rather... lacking attire.
