Are you sure we have the men to do that?""We will as of this evening. 40,000 troopers, plus bombers and fighters, and a few warships, and out AT-ATs. We're attacking a civilian city, Rayce. Even if they do resist, a single one of ours can handle at least ten of theirs. The solution is easy: show our hand, and offer terms of peaceful surrender. No conscription. No hostilities. No special arrangements. Just simple change in power. Want me to elaborate more?"

Rayce shook his head. "The plan sounds very simple. But what of the Republic? Won't they retaliate? After all, they have a galaxy, while we only have a planet."

After all, they have a galaxy, while we only have a planet.""That's why we'll try a peaceful approach. This will give us favor in the Senate; we offer diplomacy, military protection, more resources, room for growth, whatever. We cater to them, instead of vice-versus."

In the meanwhile, his latest batch of clones finished training, and he had 24,000 more clones to load into an Acclamantor.
Or in this case, prepared for ground assault.

Two Acclamators jumped out of Hyperspace into the planetary boundary of Wayland.
"Wayland, command Base this is Leiutenet Lucavi awaiting permission to dock. The new shipment for the commander is her."

Elladan had the Aclamantors dock. Elladan saw to it that the new cloning cylinders were unloaded and fixed into Mt. Chiss.

Liando wanted to see what needed his help but he didnt want to disturb those who had work. Besides the only people that are allowed to give him work are Elladen or the Emperor. Liando made his way to Elladen was.
"Commander." He gave a salute and stood at loose parade rest.
"The mission was a success. Polis Massa is under Imperial control. And Research on the Artifact as well as finding Resources are on the way. The old Cloning facility is used for storage. And the old traing center is used for research. We have everything coded and new routes have been secured in and out. traffic patrol has been established and Defense strucures have been fixed." He finished his mission summary and awaited for Elladen to tell him what he needed to do next.

Rayce sighed gently and ran his fingers through his hair, gazing down at the ground, his artificial eyes enhancing the view so that a small beetle could be seen crawling across his boot. Now Rayce was worried about a retalitory strike from the Republic. Still, all he could do was wait. He gently kicked the beetle off of his boot, where it scurried into the underbrush.
