"What are you children doing out here? Shouldn't you be in your dormitories?" A female, but husky, voice asked from behind them. It was a lieutenant from central, the usual patrol guard that paced the grounds every night had gone missing recently, so the fuhrer sent the woman armed and ready to protect the school's students .
She took a look at her watch with a pair of blue eyes, a thread of her short cropped brown hair falling out of place. The name tag on her uniform read "Lt. Ross."
"It's almost midnight. I'll take you back to your rooms..." Lieutenant Ross smiled invitingly at the three of them

"Or.."Zero looks both ways mischievously, "you could come stay with me for the night."He grinned at the girl.

"With that smile on your face, I do not want to know what your thinking. Miss," Kenji said next turning to X, "I know you said your an outside person, but there has been an incident not less than an hour ago. So you should sleep indoors. Umm... You can have my room, I'll sleep on the couches in the living room area of the dorm building. But, if you want to sleep with him," Kenji said, pointing a thumb at Zero's direction, "Then that's ok with me."

Well we don't know much about it seeing as we just found out about it tonight. We know that it's big and it couldn't be defeated by a top class alchemist at this school. But then again he was also still a student." He shrugged."So which room are you going to sleep in?"

Whoa dude, easy. Heh, it's funny, here I am a Third-Year backing away from a First-Year, not that I'm implying anything." Turning back to the girl, he gave a friendly smile. "Well, like he said, a shadow creature that made an attack on a high-level YAA student. All we know is that it was a hard fight and can't be beaten easily." Thinking for a moment he then shrugged. "Well, I might as well be heading off. I don't mind if you sleep in his room, its alright." Walking towards towards the building, he gave one last glance, and smiled. "Take Care then, good night." With that, he slowly walked off, hands in his pockets and head looking down.

Kenji walked a few more spaces and looked back and saw X go along to Zero's room. It didn't feel right he thought, but he can't do anything about it. Walking back to his room, he quickly changed his clothes and lay on his bed. Taking one big sigh, he closed his eyes... and tried to sleep...

Zero put his arm around her shoulder. "Well then, let's go."He said as he guided her to his room. "So...what's your name?"

"Hate to break it to you two, but Co-ed dorms are non-existant on this campus. I must insist that you come with me, miss." She placed her hands on X's shoulders with a sigh.
"And you should get to bed." She added, casting an encouraging glance on Zero.

Though tried his best to sleep, he really can't sleep. He seems to be waking up at every hour... something is bothering him... "What's my problem?" He stood still in bed and stared at the ceiling, hoping sleep would take over him... it didn't...
