She grinned and paid the bartender. "I hardly think it matters what I do today. No one likes me when I look like this anyway." She downed the glass as before, then yawned and stretched. "Ah! I think I will wait for that nice young man to come so I may speak with him. I just hope that monster riding girl doesn't come in with him." She grinned at the bartender. "How come you get angry when a stupid cow shakes up your inn, but don't notice when a limb tearing, screeching monster decides to try and sing us a song?" She blinked a couple of times. "Wait, you did hear that thing right? Sometimes I forget I have very good hearing."

"Aye, I heard. But then, it ain't tearin' up me tavern which will still be standing 'ere when that thing leaves. One more whinning. screeching body to put up with isn't gonna make me nerves grit unless it decides to take its fustration out on me property. 'sides, I already told the thing to shut up when it was whinning the other day. So'long as no one complains I'm not about to send it and its paying customer away." Greff shrugged.
"Just like I ain't sendin ye away unless your grunty trys to give me tavern a new door. But now that he is all settled for now, I'm sure it will be fine. I can have a stabel ready for it in a few if ye like? Stablin comes with the room, but you'll have to get yer own feed."

The Nalima shook it's head at her comment, shaking hay off and then setting it's head back down, as if sleeping though it's eyes where still open. Artemis watched the stable door with a frown. "Looks like I won't be staying long."

"Because you don't like her?" Hitori asked. "Or because she doesn't like you?" He touched her shoulder very lightly. "If you do leave, try to say goodbye to me first, ok? But I should really go inside and check on Ketlin now."

Ketlin, upstairs, went further into the room. He climbed up unto the bed to look out the window. Seeing something he liked, he smiled back and Sortha and pointed through the glass. There was Hitori outside, just turning around to come inside.

He followed her complacently, reaching for her hand as he got close.

As Hitori touched her shoulder, Artemis' eyes shot wide and turned to a milky green, like pools of mint oil in cream. The air became thick for both of them and Artemis' mouth was slight opened in mid answer to his question, yet frozen now to 'the flow'. Both emotional pools that where welled up in both Artemis and Hitori flowed back and forth from one person to the other like a rolling tide. Artemis felt the velvet texture of his emotions, dormant or active splashing to replenish her. Yet, as he felt her's, it took on a odd and spiking electic feeling in his veins; A muse's emotions. He could feel his eyes tear up, and if he looked upon her, her body flickering in and out of view. Even though she could loss herself, and stay until he became a dull shell, or she COULD plunged into him and become 'unsolid' for a time, she iinstead fought the temptation and pulled back, slamming into the door of the Nalima's stable and grasping her chest. Her hands where clutching a large ball of her shift as she breathed in short breaths. As the wave still took effect, she felt her body slowly change to some of his memories of strangers in his life. Her hair became more to a past lover, as her eyes turned to a lost kin.

Hitori felt the words he had been planning to say -- about checking up on Ketlin and all that -- come out of his mouth not by will but by the sheer fact that he had planned them out ahead of time. The main emotion he kept to gaurd over all his others was patience. Of course he had the others, and a full past like any other person, but that would have been the first one she sensed from him. And then, before she broke contact, a feeling of embarrassment. He shouldn't have touched her.

"Oh! I'm so sorry," he said in a strained voice, wiping the tears from his eyes. "Are you, umn, hurt?" All his passing emotions had been brought to the surface where he didn't like to keep them, and he felt drained in a way that made it harder to push them back gently where they belonged. Seemingly random memories were still flitting through his mind.

And it was strange. She looked like someone he should know. "....You changed," he whispered.

Ketlin let go of Sortha's hand to walk ahead of her into the bar. Not seeing Hitori there, he headed for the door to the outside.
