"Painting the roses red..." He murmured softly in a sing-song voice as he pulled Zoe into his lap, content to make a daisy-chain to put on her head once it was finished.
She, on the other hand, seemed to have better ideas. Ideas that involved trying to grab for the brightly colored things... Especially that fluttering one! It reminded her of the fluttering things that her father had and they were fun to try and grab toooo. "Ga!" What if that was another egg? Beneath the flowers that the butterfly had moved on to?

"It's for a pet." Andraste smiled at Jacosa and the otter squealed happily. "Cool ! Can we go and look for more eggs ? I bet there's one over there behind the stone. The otter moved up as the mother was startled.
"Where's Nila ?"
Nila was happily crawling through the grass and stopped in front of a small stone. What was that ?

((Okey-dokey. No biggie.))
Just a rock with some common quartz in it. Kita put it in her bag, too, and looked around. She didn't see anyone, and it was a little too shady down here.
She looked around for a tree to climb, and found a low branch she could set her good foot on; she soon found her way up the tree, using her hurt ankle as little as possible, and popped her head out of the leaves. That was better.
While she half-sat, half-lay among the branches, she twisted around to look in a few branches around her. Maybe there were eggs up here?

It was a bright orange Mr. ladybug. Scooping up the bug he sat up and showed it to Zoe. "Lookie...its a buggie." Smiling he watched her eyes move away from the butterfly to the ladybug for a moment.
Grinning he handed another daisy to Chesh. "Going to make her a flowerprincess are we?" Plucking another daisy he looked around in the flowers for something else intresting to show Zoe

"Nothing, nothing," grumbles Pippin loudly, tossing aside a candy wrapper he'd found instead. "I'm starting to think they brought us in here to pick up garbage instead!"
Robbie hums to himself a skewed tune. The flower heads bob and dance as their stems are whacked by sticky baby fingers, and the wind tickles them away from him. He rolls over, still not able to stand up without supports, grunting as the pretty flowers try to escape.
"Oof~!" He lands on his chin, and while it doesn't hurt, tears fill the baby's eyes. But through the glassy tears he can see..

Fala squealed with glee. Inside the knothole was a bright and shiny egg. Grabbing it quickly, she forgot all about the few antbites on her tail and feet and ran to her mother, holding the egg out happily.
"Mommy! Look!" She handed the egg to FM and quickly turned to run away. Now she decided to look for something trickier: buried treasure! FM had turned away (otherwise she surely would've stopped her little girl) and Fala began to paw at the dirt with her hands, scraped it up, leaving little holes everywhere. She did this unsuccessfully a few times before noting someting round and shiny underneath the dirt. Could it be...?

...just a rock. A big, round, shiny rock. Frowning, Fala's wolf ears flicked forward before promptly leaving to dig another shallow hole. After all, they weren't that deep, so it wasn't THAT dangerous...
At least by the reasoning of a toddler looking desperately for eggs.

He climbed down carefully, tucking the eggs against his belt so he didn't drop them. "Or they're working with fairies... Like the pirates in Peter Pan." Yup. There went his imagination again. At least it was good for something though... Like making ordinary egg hunts exciting.
He held Lethe's egg out to her, setting his in the basket along with his vest once he was safely back on the ground. He could always put it back on later but, for now, there was more adventuring to be had. "I wouldn't fall... Knights don't fall." Nevermind the fact that he wasn't a knight yet.
"Hey! What's that over there?" Good old diversion tactics... And maybe that was an egg over there. He squinted his eyes as he looked across the lawn, back beneath the tables they'd started near.

"Niiiilaaa ?" Jacosa called out and stumbled through the grass. Andraste followed and looked through the waves of green.
Where had the baby gone ?
"Nila !" The mother called out quite worried.
Nila instead patted the small stone in front of her and started to move it aside. It was a bit heavy, but after a while she managed to push it aside. More interesting stuff awaited her in front !

When Fala groaned slightly, FM snapped to attention and noticed her little girl digging holes everywhere! With a scowl, she shouted, "Fala! What are you doing? No digging holes, young woman! The eggs are hidden above ground, not under it." She moved forward quickly and grabbed the girl's hand, pulling her away. "Go look for eggs over there." She pointed to the other side of the park and Fala went merrily on her way, starting to look underneath various stones placed everywhere while FM began filling back in the holes her mischevious daughter dug up.

Nothing but branches and leaves. She spotted a few children out in the field, and one or two were either heading this way, or just wandering around, as far as she could see.
Kita looked around, and spotted another tree whose branches tangled with the ones of the tree she was in. She slowly made her way to where the two trees merged, and cautiously made the transition -- there would be no minor injuries this time.
The girl found herself in the new tree, and began backing out, while looking in every spot where an egg might hide.

Angelus found an egg! All by himself too! He quickly took it into his hands and climbed down to the ground.
Dameon waited for the boy at the ground. He didn't find anything, but it looked Angelus did find one. He barked in joy.
"Come on Dameon! I'm sure there's more! Where did the twins go?" asked aloud.

"RANJIT ! THE BABY IS GONE !" Andraste called out and caused the whole family to move through the high grass to find the little blue girl, who was enjoying herself in the meantime.
Lots of voices could be heard, but it seemed like a strange melody to Nila. This was a very funny holiday. The girl giggled and continued her journey through the grass. What was that red thing ? A flower ?

"Nope, nope, nope... ooh, wha's that?" Fala watched a little caterpillar move along one of the riverstones, listening to her mother grunt with frustration. She traced it's path with the tip of her finger before noticing something glint out of the corner of her eye. Was it an egg? She tilted her head and went to investigate.

Still nothing. Kita found herself on the ground, thinking hard. It would take too long to individually search every tree.
Eventually, she decided she would walk under every tree and look up for a bit of color; it'd worked for her twice before. So, she put her plan into action, first drawing an X near both of the trees she'd searched in the dirt with her foot.
