I don't know if this was requested before, but it's not on the list:

I'd like to see some tutorials on drawing children. (Not chibis) particularly how the proportions change at different ages, fact structure and the like. Anyone willing to give some help?

*lets out a big great sigh*
I am going to attempt... to answer as many of the tutorial problems as best as I can, from the last time the topic took place. It's so cluttered here! Wish me luck y'all.

Note: If I did not cover your request from Page 6 on (your name wasn't listed), then it's most likely because I could not find a tutorial for it and put your name up on the sticky, or it's because they're already covered by the Mighty List. If you think your request really needs to be looked at, then send me a PM or post here. I'll look into it personally.

STARTING FROM PAGE 6
Drawing Angelic and Devil Wings (Clerina):
http://crysa.deviantart.com/art/Drawing-Angelic-Wings-Tutorial-23056695
http://raerae.deviantart.com/art/Angel-Wing-Tutorial-12307925
http://neondragonart.com/dp/tutorials/wing.htm
http://neondragonart.com/dp/tutorials/bird.htm
That should cover it.

General Anatomy Problems (Mizuki-chan601, Amatsu Kissu, [KITTeNFACE_!], Himeno_93, Koneko -Chan, Dork_Iruka_Ninja, spoki0, etc.):
http://www.anatomyplz.com/index.php
This site covers a heck lot of anatomy issues, and it's done in a semi-realistic style (especially to y'all wanting a lips or ear tutorial, this covers it). The other good news to the people wanting a male figure tutorial, MOST of the anatomy on that site deals with the male figure, and briefly goes through female ones. I hope it helps.

Regular/Action-type Poses (uchiha_itachi08, Vampiress_Rye, Desert_Moon):
For Poses in General

http://what-i-do-is-secret.deviantart.com/art/Pose-Collection-002-68468300 (Reference)
Pretty basic, but once you get the hang of drawing poses, you can pretty much make your own. Remember to practice!

For Action

http://destructorv1.deviantart.com/art/dynamic-pose-tutorial-part-1-42506187
How to Draw Anime and Game Characters Vol. 4
The first site deals with how to throw action poses in an actual fight, and the second tutorial from the same site deals with just drawing action-type poses. The third one is a good break-down on how to draw an action pose, the hefty Flexibility link may be very interesting to you if you want to know how far a body should bend if you're planning on making your own poses, the animated pose link is just good in general, and the book I suggested is just a huge collection of awesome action poses.

Guns and Weapons (Crystal_Gazer94, darklord_avalon):
http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/guns/pistol.htm
Although this doesn't cover Pirate guns or katanas, this pretty much shows how you can draw a weapon. You have to break it down into basic shapes and then draw it. Unlike the human body, it is fairly easy to identify shapes in a weapon. The key is to draw the shapes perfectly, and then start putting together the details. As for what you're looking for in particular, just Google a gun/weapon-selling website and look at those pictures for reference.

Pixel Tutorial (darky_ivy):
http://prodigybombay.deviantart.com/art/Tutorial-Pixel-Sprite-61540307
http://derekyu.com/extras/pixel01.html (this one is just amazing)
Those are two different pixel tutorials, the first one dealing with Guilty Gear-type pixel sprites, and the second with just pixel sprites in general.

Realistic CG (tasogarenootome):
http://yumedust.deviantart.com/art/Photoshop-Tutorial-34563239
http://acidlullaby.deviantart.com/art/Portrait-Painting-Tutorial-22707443
Sorry if they're for Photoshop, but the how-to is generally the same. The tools the two programs use for these two tutorials should be about the same under slightly different names.
For your "placing shade" request")

Nature: Trees, Fire, Water, Fog, etc. (Marieanne McKassion, mizukage16, Luuuna):
http://div.dyndns.org/EK/tutorial/trees/ - Trees
http://div.dyndns.org/EK/tutorial/waves/ - Waves/Water
http://div.dyndns.org/EK/tutorial/hazy/ - Fog
http://div.dyndns.org/EK/tutorial/cloud/ - Clouds (I guess that goes with Fog?)
http://windancer53.deviantart.com/art/Fire-Tutorial-24777464 - Fire
That about covers it~
If you wanted a traditional medium one and not a digital one, please specify again. ^^;

Birds (tricky_angel):
http://cedarseed.deviantart.com/art/Drawing-Birds-part-1-22106533 (That is just part one, the links to the other parts are listed on the tutorial)
Hope that helps, for drawing wings, check out the Angelic Wing tutorial back on top.

-----------------------------------
NOT COVERED - I will add this to the front page.

Drawing People of Extreme Ages (Old, young, babies) (SquishyMuffins, Purple Frosting, Nagame Mikazuki, etc.):
My only suggestion to you guys for now is to look up pictures of old people/young kids/babies in manga or in photos.

--------------------------------
I AM DONE

Okay, it's all cleaned up (this took me an hour and 30 minutes to do). D: Hopefully we can get through some tutorials now. heart

.... Thanks... but.... [sigh] I was afraid of this....... I was looking for drawings NOT paintings cause I can't paint crying

First off... you need reference pictures.
If you properly don't know how the tree even looks like (the tree shape, the shape of the leaves/petals, the trunk, etc.), there is no way you could draw it. Remember to sketch lightly

Step 1: Draw a very basic outline of the tree shape. Pay attention to the form, but stay away from making it as simplistic as one circle on a rectangle. If it looks like the ace of clubs for you (the Poker card), then draw it.

Step 2: Form the outline so it looks more like the outline of the the tree in your photo, but do not go as far as to start throwing in irregular shapes to hint any leaves.

Step 3: Guess where the branches are in your photo, and draw it. It's very important that you draw the branches first before the leaves, because that's what makes the tree look realistic. Trees aren't a massive ball of leaves on a brown thing.

Step 4: Retrace the outline of your leaves-line, this time making it semi-more detailed.

Step 5: Scribble the dark parts. Seriously.

I took all this from the tutorial here.
http://www.how-to-draw-and-paint.com/how-to-draw-trees.html

And seriously, just type in "how to draw trees" on Google. That's where I found that.

I don't know if this fits under the "tutorial" thing, but this is the only place i could think of. Does anyone know how to acess that thing that lets you record things that you draw is photoshop (you see them on youtube a lot) I have Photoshop 7.0, so I'm not sure if I even HAVE it, But I'd still like to know how to acsess and use it! ~Cannibalistic Pixels

Camstudios. It's a program you gotta download seperately; Photoshop doesn't come with a video-recording feature.

What CamStudios does is record whatever goes on in your monitor till you stop it. That's probably what you see on Youtube.
Here's an example of what Camstudios can do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrIOijXZbYY

This question has probably been regurjitated about eighteen bazillion times, but, I would like to see a tutorial on how to draw landscapes and backgrounds.

I am personally horrible with drawing buildings, trees, flowers, pictures in general, so if there is one around here somewhere, a link would be appreciated or something along those lines?

Sorry if this has been answered ten times.

My best advice honestly is to get yourself a portable sketchpad, go outside, and draw what you see. However, for any technical problems, you might want to learn a bit of perspective drawing. If you're a digital artist, I posted a crud load of nature-type tutorials on that gigantic post on this page, but if you want to try traditional mediums...
