▱▰▱Jashin cackled through Juubi and the sky as he watched Saiko die. "AHAHAHAHA! You've died a traitor's death!" Jashin mocked him as the Juubi continued to levitate higher and higher. Thus far, it was able to successfully destroy much of the surrounding landmass using its world-devouring abilities. It was now ready to complete its cataclysm...
▱▰▱That was until the Juubi looked down at Karuto as the eighth gate was opened. "No..." Jashin said with disbelief under the Juubi's breath as lightning, chakra, and stamina erupted from Karuto's body. The Juubi watched as the berserker ran on the air toward it at a speed faster than the beast could comprehend. It immediately abandoned its attention of all other enemies as it swung its corrupted natural energy scythe at Karuto. It was for naught as Karuto was impossible to strike. The Juubi attempted to take flight to avoid the final attack but that was for naught as well. Karuto collided with the Juubi's giant eye and unleashed a lariat with an impact that ripped through the sky for hundreds of feet. The force of the impact destroyed the Juubi's protective chakra cloak and left it open for other attacks. As Karuto destroyed the cloak, the force of the lariat's impact destroyed the Juubi's eye instantly. "AGGGGH!" The Juubi screamed out in pain of its own accord as Karuto severely weakened it single handedly. The taijutsu grandmaster's thunderclap was the equivalent of a thousand hurricanes.
▱▰▱Next, lightning from Kenshin's blade, Getsuruito, struck the Juubi's face. Kenshin's sentinel spirit then used its lightning-enhanced blade to stab the Juubi's chest while Kenshin conducted multiple eight gates assaults using his own blade mirrored by his thousand arm cloak of reincarnation chakra. The Juubi's body was stabbed by the thousands of blades. When the Juubi's chakra was locked off by Kenshin, the Juubi's chakra scythe disappeared. Samatha was armored by the pink susanoo as her spinning polearm slammed into the Juubi with the force of a tornado. Samatha then created a dragon of pure black fire that would scorch the Juubi's skin instantly. Further fire was brought by the combined great flame annihilation of Kagami, Satoshi, Sandayu, and Masato. This created a wall of flames that was a thousand feet wide that consumed and burned the entire center of the Juubi's body. "GRAAAWR!" The Juubi roared in suffering as it was consumed by the intense heat without its own chakra cloak to protect it.
▱▰▱The Juubi glared up into the sky as Sadayo, Nirami, Gishin, Hohoemi, and Yuutsu created giant rays of lightning that slammed into the Juubi's body. Several points of its gargantuan body were disintegrated on contact by the limelight. "AGGGGH!" The Juubi screeched again as much of its body was destroyed by the second Hokage and her marionettes. The Juubi's center of mass was then struck by X's activation of the Prosperity cannon. The Prosperity, X, Hidari, and Migi then crashed into the Juubi's body as much of its form was annihilated. Tazu then caused a mudlide and earthen dragon that slammed into the lower half of the Juubi's body. This was followed by Lusha using her bone katana to stab into the Juubi's skin in a falling star formation with cutting water chakra enhancing it.
▱▰▱Steinn's lightning dragon slammed into the Juubi's head along with a series of powerful bullet punches. Having been blinded by Karuto's thunderclap, the Juubi was unable to see and avoid the numerous attacks. Enormous rasenshuriken were loosed on the Juubi's body by Miki with Kurama's chakra enhancing them as well as Saiko's tailed beast requiem. The gigantic rasenshuriken enhanced by susanoo and the kyuubi impaled the Juubi's chest and created shockwaves through its whole body. Kamui rifts then opened from numerous angles as its tails and legs were assaulted by Sandayu's minions.
▱▰▱The Juubi was hit by a blanket of amaterasu flames by Satoshi. These flames would persist in burning the ten-tailed beast's body and could not be extinguished. Its chest was then sliced open by Satoshi's Karasu Yamabushi susanoo. Next, seven black flame rasengan that were gigantic in size slammed into and destroyed seven different points of the Juubi's body by the numerous crows. Finally, the crow phoenix of amaterasu flame flew into a blast of fire that resembled itself. The dread phoenix then slammed into the Juubi's chest and caused a blast of fire that burned most of its body and hundreds of Jashnists on the ground below. The blinded Juubi would then hear Masato's thunderous voice and was instantly filled with fear. Masato approached, enhanced by the golden nine-tails chakra mode. Masato's multiple shadow clones each performed hundreds of strikes that shattered bones across the Juubi's body with massive shockwaves of concussive force.
▱▰▱The Juubi was then hit by a massive bolt of emerald lightning from Kojiro. The beam of light was enhanced by so much sage chakra that it destroyed a portion of the Juubi's gigantic form. A trail of slashing blades and green lightning was left by Kojiro as he rotated at blinding speeds over the Juubi. Botenmaru's greatsword slashed deeply into the Juubi's shoulder as it moved to the side. Much of its own chakra was sealed on contact as the ruthless knight made contact. Kotori opened the seventh celestial gate as her fox cloak persisted. Kotori then caused a blast of flames to erupt and scorch the Juubi's face with a single punch. The Juubi's torso was then crushed by the boss-sized snake queen that was summoned from Chie's incantation circle. The Juubi was then faced with five giant iron marionettes. Caesar, Penthesilia, and Castor collided with it using their blades and lance. A bladed whip from Artemisia and a flamethrower from Io caused even more damage to the Juubi's skin. The Juubi's center of mass was then hit by an electromagnetic bullet from Tetsuhiko's railgun.
▱▰▱The bear sage and Matatabi jinchuuriki used an immense amount of wind chakra to propel himself at the Juubi like a bullet. Himitsu was covered in a full susanoo as he advanced toward the ten-tails. The susanoo's blade stabbed into the Juubi's gut and whirled with force, causing immense damage. This was followed by Shinji's eldritch form that took to the clouds. Eight giant tentacles and blades collided with the Juubi in eight different points and destroyed massive sections of the colossal beast's body. Akaran charged through the battlefield and had slain hundreds of Jashinists along with the samurai. A giant red oni samurai warrior spirit then spun with fiery fury before slashing and burning the beast's underside. Golden flames from the soul of the golden dragon destroyed the Juubi's face before the shogun's giant fiery slashes sliced through a few parts of the Juubi's body. A swarm of thousands of Nimure's Utamushi then began eating the Juubi's chakra and flesh.
▱▰▱The Juubi was blinded, broken, and rendered to a bloody pulp, but still remained in flight. The nail in the beast's coffin was when Nimure and sixty-eight supersonic after images dive-bombed the beast. Dozens of high-level supersonic blasts covered thousands of feet of the Juubi's body. The entire surface area of the beast was covered by deafening blasts of vibrating sonic chakra. The Juubi's bat-like cursed wings gave out as the beast fell to the ground. "NOOOOOOOO!" Jashin's voice roared through the heavens as the rifts in the sky closed and the Juubi collapsed.
▱▰▱The Juubi's body exploded with waves of natural energy that were once corrupted by its body and immediately purified once the energy was returned to the Earth. Triumphant music thundered from the sky as Evergreen's influence was returned to Earth. When the Juubi's destroyed corpse landed, it hit the very center of the Fault of Rebirth. The cascading waves of nature chakra washed over the area and would heal every single one of the living allied forces. Every shinobi's wounds would heal and their own chakra resources would be replenished. As the nature chakra traveled over the Fault of Rebirth, the entire island was repaired. The once barren island with a caldera was rid of Jashin's influence. As the nature chakra waves rolled over the area, vegetation began to grow instantly. Lush grassland and forest covered the faults, the seawater was restored, and the Sun began to rise again. The night sky above turned to midday as the Sun climbed into the sky. As the nature chakra erupted over the area, it would immediately destroy any remaining Jashinist forces as Evergreen's strength returned.
▱▰▱As night turned to day and the Juubi's stolen nature chakra returned to the Earth, natural order was also restored to the nine demons. Each bijuu would feel their corrupting influence from Jashin completely dissipate and cause them to feel at peace and purified. Before long, the heroes of the day would see the Juubi begin to sink into the ground. The Juubi was completely lifeless as it fell into the Earth, leaving only the giant stem on its back. The Juubi then became a seedling as the steam on its back grew with the power of infinite natural energy from the Juubi's body. The stem grew thousands of feet into the sky, past the clouds as beautiful music intensified from the sky. The Juubi's once twisted steam grew into a mighty tree covered in flowers, vegetation, and chakra fruits. The roots of the tree buried into the center of the Earth as the Juubi's blood and natural energy nourished the tree. After the gigantic tree became fully formed, Evergreen would walk out from the center of the tree. It was clear to all that the God Tree was now brought into reality and would keep Jashin in exile forever.
▱▰▱Sages and sensors would be able to feel the incredible natural energy that permeated through the area. The souls of the dead who aided humanity in this battle would slowly fade away, indicating that it was time to say their goodbyes. Portals would open to the divine realms behind their spiritual forms as well as portals that would allow the living to exit to some other part of the material world. Years of war, turmoil, and religious conflict all led to this moment of deep and abiding peace.

▱▰▱Kenshin could hear what X was saying to their comrades from the Pale Citadel over comms. His tenseigan watched as chakra-fueled atmospheric cannons fired at the Juubi after Kenshin landed his own attacks. "X!" He shouted as X and the other puppets suicide bombed the Juubi. He stared regretfully at the wreckage, though he appreciated the nindroid's heroic sacrifice all the same.
▱▰▱When the Juubi was felled by their combined efforts, he watched the waves of infinite natural energy wash over the Fault of Rebirth. He allowed his reincarnation cloak, lightning armor, spirit sword, warrior spirit, and virtue state to subside. His tenseigan reverted to its pale white state as he lowered himself to the ground. He remained in sage mode only briefly to sense the splendor of infinite nature chakra that was permeating through the area. In time, his sage mode would subside as well. His chakra was restored and his fatigue disappeared as he reached out his hand to consume the natural energy. When the Juubi's corpse sank into the Earth and the God Tree began to grow into the sky, a tear dripped from his eye. "Incredible..." The death of the Juubi and the birth of the God Tree was the most awe-inspiring event he had ever witnessed. His heart raced as the triumphant music played through the heavens and Jashin's influence was rid from this world.
▱▰▱As Kenshin awaited Evergreen's appearance, he heard a portal opening behind him. He turned around to see the large rift showing him the control room of the Pale Citadel. He saw Ada seated beyond the portal and smiled. Ada would be able to see the natural radiance of the restored Fault of Rebirth behind him. Kenshin extended his hand past the portal to gently pull his wife to the foot of the God Tree with him. "We have won." He announced their victory as he helped her through the portal. Once she joined him, he would embrace her gently given her advanced pregnancy. The married couple glowed with the radiant light of day and the natural beauty that surrounded them. "We're safe." He reassured his spouse as his hand gently trailed over her pregnant stomach. A tear of joy and relief streamed from his eye as his hand moved to her cheek. "Thank you for your help. And for being the woman worth fighting for." Kenshin said sincerely before leaning down and gently planting his lips on Ada's. His sense of relief and joy was palpable.
▱▰▱Kenshin turned around and welcomed Kojiro to stand with him and Ada before the God Tree. "Well done, my student." He complimented Kojiro's valor before taking a moment to knowingly glance and Ada and continue. "Ada and I have been meaning to ask if you'd be the godfather of our child." Kenshin said as he turned back to Kojiro and the three basked in the light of a new era. He smiled and patted Kojiro's shoulder as he anticipated his response. He could think of no man more worthy of the title.
▱▰▱Once Evergreen walked through the portal in the center of the God Tree, he took a knee in the grass. He would help Ada bow with him as he lowered his head to the goddess. Kenshin eagerly awaited her words.

Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.

▱▰▱She watched with excitement as the combined Great Flame Annihilation with Satoshi, Sandayu, and Masato aided in the destruction of the Juubi. "Oh he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast and he's GOTTA be fresh from the fight! I NEED A HEROOO! ♫♪♫♫♪♫♫♪♫♫♪♫♫♪♫" Kagami finished her song as she watched the Juubi plummet back down to Earth. When the Juubi crashed into the center of the Fault of Rebirth, she lowered herself back to the ground. She smiled and lowered her sanbi cloak as wave of natural energy restored the faults and destroyed what was left of the Jashinists.
▱▰▱She now stood on the ground alongside her husband, her son, and Takumi. She thought for a few moments about Takumi's offer. She allowed her Ketsuryugan to subside and the mirrors around her to shatter as she responded with kindness. "Thank you, Takumi, truly, but I think it'd be wrong for me to take any gift from you after all that I've done." Kagami smiled with appreciation as she allowed her words to sink in. There was a time when Kagami would betray nearly anyone, including Takumi, to get whatever she wanted. Yet that time had long since passed and Kagami was determined to seek absolution and redemption.
▱▰▱Kagami turned to Satoshi and smiled brightly but also with deep pride and satisfaction. "It's incredible how far you've surpassed me, dear. Getting to spend this day with you has been a gift. I know that my death caused you a lot of pain, and I'm sorry. I hope you can understand that it's what I thought I had to do to protect you and the world. No matter how mistaken I was." She spoke with a level of introspection and honesty that she never had before. All she wanted was to bring Satoshi some level of peace.
▱▰▱She looked down at her hands and noticed that her physical form was beginning to fade away. "Looks like it's almost time to go." Kagami said mournfully but also with gratitude for the time she had. She looked over at Takumi and Chie and waved as they faded away before returning her attention to her son. "I made so many mistakes when I was alive, but you weren't one of them, Satoshi. I hope you can learn from the suffering that I caused the world and find it in your heart to choose a different path." ▱▰▱Before she could completely disappear, a portal to Sandayu's dimension opened. She stepped away from Satoshi and walked beside Sandayu. She had been in the divine realms and separated from her husband for quite some time. "You better not leave me behind again!" Kagami joked before jumping into Sandayu's arms. She would be carried into Sandayu's realm before slowly fading away completely. She was deeply content as she departed from the physical world once again.

Sand enclosed around her as the chaos stacked more and more. Nary the chance to witness the arch of the monster’s undoing. Each puppet, at their remote distance, slacked suddenly and dropped when she finally appeared to be closed off. Her vision flickered. Sadayo’s knees buckled as she dipped forward in the sandy dark. Apparent emptiness where the precise control of her puppets had been. It was strange.
A new, fresh kiss of green life was warm and she lay idle to its presence. A clouded sky less tumultuous, blue, and full. Limelight was a power she had never burned and the passion of such a relentless rage she wore was spent. Noise and the relentless discord of the combined power—had settled. Hushed. Sand slowly shrinking and spilling sunlight on her cheeks. She lay. Lull. Each grain shifting back into hiding under her hip. Her sights obscured from the unfolding scene of a new world waking around her.
A scent of sunlight and damp earth filling her lungs as she lie in the soft pillow of her unshackled hair. She could almost still feel the fleeting pulse of the memory of incredible power in her fingertips. Gone, and for the better, it seemed. Shukaku did not stir. The beast barely grumbled as he felt the last fragments of depraved darkness become concrete under a goddess’s thumb. Such an imbalance that finally found balance, even if, by force. He was quiet. Now he could entertain how nice it would be to not have a bunch of lunatics harassing him. Pestering Sadayo to hasten the day that nobody stands between his eventual solitude and freedom to come could wait. For now.
For every breath tasting of vibrant flora, the more her attention phased out as if this moment was, instead, a dream. How quick to flow from chaos to calm was enough to distort her. This pocket of stillness must have been a dream or, perhaps, she was waking from one.
And yet, lying here, her limbs heavy and her heart strangely light, she felt the faintest glimmer of something she shelved from time to time—a longing for a life that could be calm like this. It was jarring, this stillness, as if Sadayo had slipped into some hidden pocket where she could almost anticipate waking to Azami’s fling at her mother’s shoulder. Her bright, consistent spark and the thought of the soft tickle of the little girl’s hand reaching to steal Sadayo’s attention.
“That’s it then,” the spirit finally droned. “Death and life. Life and death. Opposites of the same coin but none of them could get along.” He pensively mused aloud to Sadayo- who so willfully ignored him- and prompted the beast to snort. “Fine. My esteemed self could stand to tune you out too, Sadayo. Just don’t lie around all day, huh?”

▱▰▱After the demon's final defeat, the world around them ushered a new dawn. The air became warm and inviting. The ground lost its barren status amiss a plethora of grass and flowers. And from the corpse of the corrupted beast sprouted the divine tree itself; a symbol of the victory of the Shinobi. It didn't take long until Kenshin's waiting was rewarded. Renewed with golden adornments and poised with an elegance all remembered her by, the goddess herself emerged and descended from the center portal. Once she saw Kenshin kneel in front of her, however, she bent down and helped him rise. "There is no more a world where you kneel before me, my champion." She said maternally. Her eyes shared the love she had for her home world as it blossomed anew. She gently kissed the forehead of the man. "You, who has proven the faith of divinity time and time again. You, who harbored the taint of a demon but never bowed to its will. You, whose Pale Citadel rest as a beacon of hope. You have proven time and time again that the restraints of humanity will never shackle you. That the justice of your heart is not a facade but an oath. And for that, it is time to remove said shackles." Evergreen took a step away from Kenshin as she raised her divine scepter. A rhythmic chanting echoed through the nature around them as flickers of nature chakra pooled from the entire revived island. These flickers moved and did not petrify the man, but instead empowered him. Indeed, he felt the spark of divinity course through him and ignite something stronger from within. "Henceforth, you are no longer just my champion. You are now the champion of all ninja. It is with the highest honor I bestow you, 'God of Shinobi.'" Kenshin could feel his demi-god nature now taking full effect. His Tenseigan never needed to rest as the entirety of the ninja world was now revealed to him. And just as he could see each and every life on the planet, he saw how tethered they were to the world as a whole. He was gifted sight but also perspective. He was now truly the caregiver of this world. But that was not the last miracle she had yet to give.
To each participant in the grand fight, Evergreen offered her personal thanks. Gone were the days of hubris when Evergreen's will was installed only in vague notions. These brave souls have given everything to keep this planet alive. There were some who used tainted powers to get there, but each soul was worthy of her praise. Her hands embraced any who wished to feel the Eternal Mother's love. Her kindness was genuine and serene. It was an Evergreen that not even Kenshin had seen fully. An Evergreen unburdened by the ever present malice and tear of the evil God Jashin. For the first time in her life she felt at peace. And peace was what she wished to give all who gave her this gift. As she reached her last savior, however, of course she waited until meeting with Masato. The two had always had a tenuous relationship. A relationship Masato has gone out of his way to mend, and now Evergreen looked at the man who proved to tame his fury for the sake of humanity. "Masato. How long have I robbed you of the love you deserved?" Evergreen said softly and ashamed. "You, who I left abandoned to be trained by monks; hoping their doctrines could tame the fury I always saw within. You, who was forced to abandon his home time and time again for the sake of survival. You, who was forced to choose between blood and humanity already in your past. And you, who despite all of the set backs, despite all of the pain, still managed to find love and family." Evergreen's eyes fell off of her son's face as they first looked over to Sadayo. Her gaze then shifted to Sandayu, Kagami, Satoshi. Finally, it landed again on Taylor, Zhi, Karuto, and Tetsuhiko. A smile crossed her face as she returned her gaze to Masato. "You have bested demons and changed fate by your own two hands. You have proven that your divine lineage was yours, and yours alone. And for that, your hands are the ones I trust the fate of the world to." Evergreen gently placed her divine scepter into Masato's open palms. Instantly he felt a surge of power within him. The divine domain of their world, no, their reality, coursed through him in a flash. It hummed a melody seraphic in nature, and a divine clarity crossed his mind as he did.
"My duty is over. In Kenshin's hands I lay the burden of all who live. In your hands I lay the burden of where we will live. Go forth now and live, Masato. And please know, that all of the love I feel will never allow me to forgive myself for all of the sorrow and ire I placed on your shoulders." Evergreen smiled as she took a step away from her son. Already her form was fading, but with Masato and Kenshin's awakening, they would easily see that she was not dying. No, instead she was returning to the core of this world; her final resting place. Evergreen's role as a protector has finally ended. And in her place she has chosen the two most powerful warriors to take up the fight. All that remained of her was to rest. And yet, until everyone had said their peace to her, she forced enough of a form to give everyone the closure they deserved.

A deep, warm smile crept over Chie's face as she rose to her feet at the defeat of the Juubi. She watched and awed as the world around them turned soft and nurturing once more. And she looked back at the man who, despite the pain he endured and the suffering which made him Jashin's puppet, had found the light and fought back one last time. She moved to his side as she helped raised him. "Now are you going to kiss me if you're face down on the floor?" She chuckled as she caressed the man in her embrace and held him up slightly. A soft hand brushed strands of hair off of his weary face. A kindness swelled from within her bosom as she hummed slightly to the drained man. "Floating beyond time there's a city made of wind." Chie sang. Her voice was untrained, but she carried the gentle tune well enough. "Please, dear take me there. Where dreams, draped in white flowers... come true..." As she sang, Chie allowed the rest of her nature chakra to dissolve itself. Her form started to break as, in return, its chakra fluttered into Saiko. This not only would help him recover but would also restore the color which the demon itself drained. "Holding to your anxious hands. Settle with a kiss and then; please dear guide me there. Where love, that was forgotten, can bloom..." It wouldn't be long until the magic which held Chie in place was lost. She was a forgotten woman, after all. And yet, with all of her remaining strength, she chose this moment to hold onto with Saiko. One kiss was all she hoped for as the world would take her for the last time.
"Who would have thought I would be such a sappy girl?" A clone of Chie said to Takumi as she watched with a modicum of disgust at her true self literally dying for love. She gave her brother a playful jab with her elbow. "Well, looks like my ride's up. Gotta say though, despite everything, it was nice to see who you finally became." She said as she gave the man a playful smile. "Don't worry about mom and dad. I'll settle things with them so it'll be nothing but smiles when you finally decide to come and join us. I know Fujimi, at least, will do anything to have his favorite brother back." Chie's words lingered with a sense of dread as she gave her brother a kiss on the cheek. "Don't keep us waiting for too long, alright? Forever is a long alright, but so is every moment that you're away from us. All we have is each other, after all." She said, repeating her nindo as she turned her attention to the other woman who had to once again say goodbye to all she loved. She watched Kagami and gave her a knowing nod as she departed. The clone lingered for a hair longer so that Takumi could reply, but once he said his peace, she too would vanished. Just as it was agreed upon.

▱▰▱A massive portal opened in the sky as soon as the God Tree began to grow from the fallen Juubi's back. As Jashin's portals of shattering matter disappeared, the new gateway opened. A group of twenty strangers stepped in. The entire group was cloaked in golden chakra that was impossible for any sensory technique or dojutsu to see through, like an impossibly thick veil. The strangers wore white hoods and followed behind one man. He was tall and carried a shakujo and was also hooded. The group's gaze was fixated on the tree that was growing into the sky. "So it's really true..." The leader seemed lost for words as the group seemed to float on the air and analyze the tree. After the leader spoke, a woman in the group replied. "Are you certain, Jinshiki-sama?" She was respectful of his status but also grappling with complete disbelief. The man flew close to the tree and away from the portal that would immediately close behind them. He placed his open hand on the tree's mighty trunk and closed his eyes.
▱▰▱The mysterious man established some sort of connection with the tree by meditating for nearly a whole minute. He then let go of the tree. "Yes." The man's voice quivered as he began to succumb to emotion. He grabbed his mouth as tears left his eyes. The group became excited and enthralled as they scattered and all began touching and inspecting the God Tree at various points. The leader remained high in the air above the heroes who were planted on the ground with Evergreen. He slowly took off his hood and turned around. "I congratulate all of you for this great victory! It means more than you can ever know." Jinshiki spoke once he was able to recompose himself. His voice was gentle and wise, like an idyllic father. His voice was loud enough for everyone in the Fault of Rebirth to hear. His voice seemed to echo as it carried over the entire area.
▱▰▱Jinshiki looked down at his hands to see that he was beginning to slowly fade away. "Farewell." There was much more that the mysterious man wanted to say but his time was short. He and the hooded figures began to fade away into gold dust in unison until they completely departed.

Zhi resisted that urge to help with the final volley of attacks against Jashin and its ravenous avatar. She remembered her father's warning to avoid feeding the Juubi more of her divinely-charged natural energy at the risk of causing a different series of possible outcomes- all of which were unfavorable to everyone's survival. "They did it? YATTA!! THEY DID IT!" Zhi cheered from where she hovered in the sky with glittering chakra adorning her. She body flickered to Taylor and Horus, embracing her love with the joys of relief and victory, "Tay-bae!! We did it! This time we did it right!" Zhi took a moment to just soak in the moment with a hug before praising him and Horus, "I'm so proud of you, Taylor. You've overcome so much and become such a dependable friend and irreplaceable piece of my heart." Zhi sealed her praise for her love with an eagerly passionate kiss before moving to give Horus the kindest of scritches under his beak and down along the side of his head, "You too bestest birdie buddy! You were awesome, Horus!" She gave the thunderbird and sweet peck on the side of his beak.
Her gaze then turned to the world coming back to life while Evergreen was addressing everyone with her gratitude. Cheers and other sounds of live filled the area as the God Tree stood in place of the monstrous Juubi. "I'm so glad-" Zhi was cut off as she jumped with surprise the moment another presence blipped in next to the three of them and chimed in, "Most fortuitous. You've done well, my dear guardians of time. Still... those other bijuu that were just born may likely reincarnate in this world like the others do. That'll be tough to get a handle on, but I'm sure these heroes will manage to avoid another cataclysm of this magnitude." Zelel, in the flesh of his human form, hovered near Zhi, Taylor and Horus with a relieved smile across his face. He only exchanged a nod with Evergreen below before his gaze briefly set on the God Tree then back to his daughter who didn't miss a beat to give him a tight hug. The sovereign deity over the domain of time itself returned the embrace before patting Zhi's head and saying, "Zhi, I always knew there was greatness in you. I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being a candle in the darkness that was coming over this world. Your efforts will go unsung, but know that this realm which you were born to protect is safe thanks to how you aided us all." He then looked to Taylor, the several hands on the golden clock-like iris of his left eye turning at different paces, "And you, young Taylor Childe, have proven the mettle of the mortal soul more times over than you might realize. Thank you for loving and supporting Zhi as you do. She couldn't have done this without you and Horus. You may remain to say your goodbyes to loved ones, but I will need your assistance again soon. Please don't not idle long, for the future waits for no one." He'd give them a friendly wave before vanishing again as suddenly and subtly as he arrived, much like his daughter often did.
Zhi had been oh so tempted to interject amidst her father's praises, but she was just tired from the fight and felt it best to simply listen this time. She was about to consider joining up with Tetsuhiko before he went back to the spirit world with the others who came back, by the grace of Evergreen, to fight for the future of the world but then her sense picked up on twenty-one new signatures all around the God Tree. "Of course... father left before I could ask him who they were! Dang it. He probably did that on purpose..." The white-hooded figures left even her incredibly potent sensory abilities without detail as they appeared to be studying the tree. One of them, apparently their leader, used some kind of voice amplification to offer his own disturbingly kind congratulations, but no further than that. "You'll save me if these are bad guys, right Tay-bear? I want to see what's up before we go back to the temporal realm." She just smiled trustingly to him before zipping away in a sparkling blue blur that stopped hanging in the air at the same height as the man was standing in the tree. However, as soon as she arrived, they were all gone. Zhi curiously floated around to check all the places on the tree that she had been able to physically see the figures interacting with it, but she wasn't sure what to look for since they didn't seem to live any visible markings on the tree after they had excitedly inspected it, "Very odd..." She murmured to herself in a puzzled tone.

Zhi doesn't gain the ability to gather any more natural energy than normal (A-rank amount per post), but does become enabled to gather natural energy even if not remaining still. However, this still takes a bit of effort and thus consumes one activation per post that natural energy is gathered. Also, counts as Medium Armor while in use but yields no further penalties than listed in this technique.

The collective damage that pursued had been enough, the Uchiha's eyes lit brightly as his Byakusharingan witnessed the receeding chakra of the Jashin puppets. The massive amounts of energy that had been released in the following moments would do more damage to the landscape had it been corrupted, instead the nature chakra that had been hoarded was healing the lands.
Masato allowed himself to lower back to the surface of the earth, kneeling at Sadayo's side, taking her hand in his own as he looked down to her peaceful moment. He felt the tug of hope, the same that she'd felt in that instant. Visions of Azami and Sadayo waiting for him in a field of peaceful flowers and the sound of their laughter played in his head while his eyes gently faded to their dulled black shade. " We did it, Dayo." He said softly as he took his other hand and brushed the hair that had fallen out of its ever so strict placement back to it's natural position. " We kept our girl safe." If she'd give him the attention, she'd easily read the relief he had on his face in that moment. Despite the power he could display, even acting as a faux Jinchuriki, he'd had the nagging fear that they may not return to Azami, the girl who'd softened the man much more than anyone else could, even if that meant he got bruised and beaten for taking it easy with her.

Then, in equal measure, she would name him the one she would place the fate of the world to. The user's eyes glow immensely brightly, a blinding aura surrounds the body, a full ethereal samurai armor set covers the body. The color of the eyes, aura, and armor are identical to that of the Reiken (spirit sword). This final virtue state does not cost an activation but does require an initial S+ Rank stamina cost plus an S+ Rank upkeep per post for two posts. This state has a maximum duration of three posts. The warrior is at such an enlightened stage of virtue that their peerless power allows them to create ethereal aspects of their warrior spirit that are the same size as themselves. These appear to be fully armored samurai made of the same energy as the Reiken. The ethereal aspects can be bolstered with an S-Rank amount of chakra each with no activation cost during the duration of the virtue state.
▰ Body Flicker Technique [ Shunshin no Jutsu ] | Rank D The user moves, using chakra to accelerate their movements rapidly. The user vanishes in the blink of an eye, often leaving behind leaves, sand or some other debris behind them that is kicked up from their action. This allows the user to travel instantly up to fifty feet within combat but cannot be used in conjunction with an attack during this action. In combat, this technique is able to be maximally used three times. Alternatively, this can be used to freely escape combat into another topic to another within the subforum. Technique Active: • Bloody Fields of War | Rank B | Complex This technique is a more perfected version of the first technique to the Infinite One-Sword style, Fields of War. The only difference is that this technique is developed to more accurately set the user's swords about the battlefield. This technique's precision is so great that the swords can be directed to land where the user wishes, requiring an additional hand sign to properly mold the chakra. More often than not, it is used to rain the blades directly upon foes to reduce enemies earlier into a fight. Like the Fields of War technique, this technique must be used before any fighting with the Infinite One-Sword style can begin. The "KEEP OUT" caution tape is also still distributed around the immediate battlefield upon this technique's execution. • Fields of War - Active Scene | Rank C | Bukijutsu/Spiritual A supplementary technique that is cast atop the Fields of War techniques from the Infinite One Style. Applying this variant with the MXIV Encrypted Data Saver Blade will replace the physical manifestation of the Infinite One Swords and Tape with a Chakra forged field of swords and police tape in the user's chakra color. These Hologram swords and tape are intangible to the opponent and physical objects unless the user pays an E rank amount of chakra as a passive cost for each technique used with the swords. When done, these chakra weapons act as the standard Infinite One swords would in durability. • Nimble Rush | Rank A | Spiritual Forming a hand sign, all swords on the battlefield and the user's feet radiate a thin veil of chakra for five of the user's posts. As long as the user moves about the battlefield via treading along the hilts of the swords or between any two swords, their movement speed is increased by [2]. This allows for the user to maneuver to and from the opponent and to anywhere else on the battlefield in nimble blurring motions. • Emerald Flash [ Midori Tenmetsu] | Rank S | Bukijutsu [ Sage Mode Keystone ] | Spiritual When Kojiro's Human Sage Mode becomes active, this technique is triggered, consuming no additional activation, only it's initial cost. During Sage Mode while wielding any weapon, Kojiro has attains a new level of god-speed sword skill. Kojiro is able to preform techniques that consume shushin activations and other shushin level movements without consuming a shushin utilization once per post. These Shushin are combat specific and cannot be used to escape. In addition, Kojiro is only able to move to a maximum of one hundred feet with each shushin action used in this manner. The shinobi can pick a single weapon, or two if dual wielding, to apply this focus toward with examples such as Katana, Spear, Bows or even Dual Daggers. They acquire a Keystone technique that is unique to them with an additional 2 Custom Techniques derived of this special ability. Refer to the Keystone Guideline for more information. ▰ Bukijutsu: Mystic Hero | The user has become adept at blending their ninjutsu and bukijutsu. The user is able to cast ninjutsu from their weapon without the use of hand signs by making any flourish or deliberate movement to cast the technique in the direction the weapon is commanded. This requires the same amount of time as the forming of hand signs to cast ninjutsu. They are also able to Korabo 1 ninjutsu and 1 bukijutsu together with varying cool downs for a single action. ▰ Bukijutsu Specialist | If this class is taken as the first and second class, then the user takes 2 disciplines from this class and an additional bukijutsu style. These masters of their arts are able to have a 1 point increase in their stats cap of 8 making it 9. In addition, they gain one of the following Specialization options. Only 1 can be chosen.
▰ Bukijutsu: Dedicated Disciple | A disciple who chooses to specialize in a small number of their class's arts. Limiting themselves to three of their class's styles, granting overwhelming in all three styles up to S Rank. Any additional slots that would be awarded for their class's styles are converted into a 2 point increase in any stats of their choosing. Styles granted from rewards may be learned but do not carry the overwhelming property and the user is capped out at 5 styles.
▰ Ninjutsu: Elemental Mastery | The user's ninjutsu gains the ability to overwhelm techniques of the same rank. The overwhelming trait only applies to a single element at D rank, increasing to two at A rank. Overwhelming properties do not apply to techniques above S Rank. In addition, each rank that you gain an overwhelming property the user gains a free Element PA that allows the user to augment their ninjutsu that gained the property with an additional effect for no resource or action payment, allowing the user's ninjutsu to shine. You gain an additional 4 Ninjutsu per body rank that are dedicated to their primary element. Also, the user gains access to Augment Skill Lines for the cost of it's primary technique slot and is not required to pay additional slots for skills in this line. Finally, the user's two chosen overwhelming elements can be combined into [1] advanced nature kekkei genkai that counts as a free implant. This implant does not consume an implant slot but does have the restrictions of the implant system. The implant does not carry the overwhelming factor of its base elements through this discipline. This discipline cannot be taken with the Dual Ancestry discipline from Bloodline Class.

Saiko's eyes fluttered open, his body feeling heavier than ever, the weight of battle taking its toll. He could feel the warmth of Chie’s hand on his face, her touch a comfort in the midst of the chaos. Despite the pain, despite everything, a tired but genuine smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
"You know, I've fought battles across the years, but none of them were ever as hard as this," Saiko muttered, his voice hoarse but full of warmth. He looked up at her, his gaze softening. "And none of them were ever worth it until this moment, right here." He chuckled weakly, the weight of his words sinking in as he felt the pull of his body giving way to exhaustion.
He reached up with trembling hands and gently cupped her face, his touch light but full of tenderness. "Chie… you were always my light. Even when I was lost, even when I thought I couldn't come back... you were the reason I fought. And for you, for this moment... it was all worth it."
As she began to sing, her voice sweet and soothing, Saiko’s eyes closed again, allowing himself to let go for just a moment. Her voice was like a balm to his fractured soul, a reminder of the love and bonds he had fought so hard to protect. He could feel her chakra merging with his own, slowly healing and restoring him, but more than that, it was the warmth of her presence that lifted him from the darkness.
"Chie... this won't be the end. I'll keep fighting. Not just for myself, but for you... for us. I won't let go of this... I won't let go of you." He gasped softly, feeling his strength return bit by bit.
Saiko’s hand gently reached for her chin, tilting her face toward him. He could see the sadness, the love, the strength in her eyes. His heart pounded, knowing that in this moment, the world could end, but nothing would matter more than what he had with her.
Slowly, his lips met hers in a soft, tender kiss. It wasn’t a kiss of finality—it was a kiss that spoke of years of memories, of a bond unbreakable despite everything they had endured. It was full of all the unspoken things he had never had the chance to say.
When the kiss broke, Saiko’s hand lingered on her cheek for just a second longer. He pulled her close, his voice a whisper, full of resolve.
"Just one more kiss. Then I’ll take care of the rest." He smiled softly, a knowing glint in his eyes, despite the struggle within. He didn’t want her to go. He didn’t want any of this to end.
But Saiko knew better than most—sometimes the world didn’t allow for second chances.
Sounds of rending flesh echoed in Himitsu's ears as he tore through the Juubi in his Susano'o, eventually bursting through the other side and quickly turning to evaluate. The sight of thousands of attacks raining down upon the beast was reassuring. Himitsu was well aware of where he stood in the power hierarchy of this battle, so if he'd done this much, the beast stood no chance against what was coming. Through strained vision Himitsu watched the downfall of Juubi, the vanquishing of Jashin, his banishment from this world, their world. Relief overtook him, and it took all of him not to cry on the spot. They'd done it. Not only had the survived, they'd won. Not a second too soon either as exhaustion overwhelmed the jinchuuriki. He'd been paying the toll for combining his Sage and Demon Cloak modes, and his body just couldn't keep up any longer. His Susano'o staggered as Himitsu lost his grasp on the technique. The chakra construct's armor began to fall away and dissipate as the form shrank, eventually dropping Himitsu's own shrinking body through the air. As he rapidly approached the ground, his black and cobalt cloak flickered out and his body returned to its normal size. A moment before he crashed into the broken earth below, it snapped backed together and foliage erupted from it. Instead of slamming into broken boulders, Himitsu tumbled through surprisingly soft trees and plants that almost seemed to grab his gently on his away down. Himitsu's landing wasn't necessarily comfortable, but it hurt a hell of a lot less than he was bracing for.
A soft umph leaked from Himitsu as he hit the ground with a gentle thud. Every muscle, tendon, ligament, and bone in his body ached and burned, threatening to snap or explode at the slightest provocation. As he laid there however, the grass around him seemed to grow up around him, dragging its blade across as much of his body as possible. With each passing second, the pain that wracked his body eased slightly. Himitsu slowed his breathing and closed his eyes as he rested beneath the trees. He awoke a few minutes later, startled as if he'd slept for a month. Himi jolted up, not realizing immediately the significance of the movement. Once it hit him however, he laughed in surprise and slowly climbed to his feet, apprehensive over such a rapid change in his condition. When it was clear the pain wasn't coming back, he headed back toward where the Konoha forces had originally portalled into the battle, hoping to find his allies but finding instead a goddess bestowing blessings and thanks upon the entirety of the shinobi. A certain bitterness leaked into his heart, thinking that nothing she could grant would possibly be worth the price the world, and more importantly its people, had paid to get here let alone win this battle. He glared at the goddess from the treeline through dimmed, blurry vision.
Once the deity had finished her grandstanding, Himitsu did notice his vision readjust quickly, curing his encroaching blindness in an instant. Something else was different as well though... Himitsu rubbed his eyes a few time and blinked a few more before finally letting his eyes focus once again. His vision felt sharper than ever, and were practically free of the mild strain they typically carried when fully active. Himitsu quickly realized what the goddess had done; She'd granted him the power of the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. The jonin's dojutsu had become fully evolved, bearing its full range of power at once. The goddess' thanks weren't entirely worthless at least.
After Evergreen departed, Himitsu wandered onto the newly blossomed battlefield and did what he could to get a grasp of how many living and not-undead Konoha shinobi remained after the final onslaught. He hoped that the number would go up as people rounded themselves up, because for now the numbers didn't seem great. Himi grabbed the nearest strays and asked them to round up any other Konoha shinobi they could find, and meet back here. Himitsu made several handseals before stomping on the ground, causing a large cave to erupt from the ground leading down to a large cozy home. The Sage snapped his fingers and a puff of smoke exploded a few feet away. Tumbling out of the smoke came three small bears which urgently tried to straighten themselves out. "Man... You guys really are just a mess, aren't you?" Himi sighed and shook his head. "Go round up anyone from Konoha you can find and send them this way. I'm sure you guys can figure it out." The Triad collectively nodded then scattered to across the ladnscape, their tiny Bear Faced Headbands marking them as shinobi.
As groups of eight would gather, Himitsu would make a few handseals again, and the cave would slowly sink back into the ground. The stone home would take off slowly at first towards it's destination, gradually picking up speed until it reached the velocity of a bullet train. It certainly wasn't instant but it was fast, easy, and moved multiple people at once back to Takijinsei Falls. Everyone would onload, then Himitsu would repeat the process as need to transport whatever allies needed fast transport back home. With the bulk of the Konoha allies moved, Himitsu wandered from The Den and scanned the skies for Nimure, eventually spotting him. He wasn't sure it could reach him up there, but maybe with that lingering Evergreen power he had a shot. ["Nimure! Chomei! Come relax, hard part's done!" Himi reached out through the bijuu telepathic connection, waving his arms around from the ground. From there, he reached out more generally to the much closer jinchuuriki allies. "Lady Hokage, Miki... I've got a quick way home if you need it. You can send anyone you find that need transport home my way as well. Also...... I'm glad you all made it. See you soon either way."

To those unfamiliar with them however, they seem to move around in random, nonsensical ways with little to no logic or reason.

Himitsu may change his Spirit Fire to feel and sound like normal fire at will. He steeled himself to make another attack if there was so much as a shiver of Jashin's avatar to indicate its survival. There was no such indication. The beast was slain in the final bombardment by Nimure and Chomei- what a sour-tasting victory to suffer, but fate worked in ironic ways like that at times. He dispersed his green chakra cloak and susanoo as he descended gradually. Sanda growled one last promise before the monstrosity that brought Jahin completely vanished, "Jashin, don't think our score is settled. I know this has only ended your presence in this realm. On my honor as an Iga shinobi of Tengakure, I will hunt every last trace of you down to avenge every soul you have corrupted or taken- no matter how far you flee. You will endure their agony ten-fold every time you try to escape to another universe to scheme your plots. Just know that I will find you and bring ruin to you until the end of our existences." He didn't need a response and he wasn't certain it had even reached Jashin's ears. Regardless, with this oath sworn, Sandayu disappeared with a body flicker to land beside Kagami, Satoshi and Takumi. His shadow clones dispersed and his pets lingered at the edges of the locale in anticipation for further orders. The amount and rate of natural energy becoming purified from the Juubi's corpse the fully rejuvenated his chakra and washed away his fatigue, but his bond with the sovereign deity of the realm allowed this energy to recover so much more as Evergreen's power was restored.
He closed his view for a few moments as he felt something akin to switches being flipped in his eyeballs, 'With this, our deal and my promise is fulfilled.' He reopened his eyes to reveal his Mangekyo Rinnebyakusharingan radiating all of its latent power as his wife declined Takumi's offer with earnest condolences. Sandayu blinked, somewhat perturbed by her choice. She spoke to Satoshi with motherly tenderness he only remembered experiencing a very few times in his own youth and it made his heart ache. Behind it was a ringing bittersweet surrender tone that did no justice to the value of their victory today. While Kagami finished speaking with their son, Sanda would address Takumi with a rare tone of approval, "Takumi Saegahara, your tenacity and talents have been invaluable assets to the peace and security of this world, and to my own. I don't hold many people in high regard, so know that you will be forever honored as a hero in Amenominakanushi and of the reborn Iga clan. Were it not for you..." Tears began to well up in his eyes, but he held them back.
Sandayu was unable to restrain the waterworks for much longer while he shared in the embrace of his wife and son as Kagami began to fade from her temporary form. Then a gateway back to his realm opened nearby in the shade of the risen God Tree. He effortlessly caught Kagami as she jumped into his arms, holding her with reverent care, but he did not move toward the gateway. He looked down at his beautiful wife and used a perfectly controlled shinra tensei to gently brush some hair from her porcelain face, "No, my love, I will never leave you behind ever again. He would pull Kagami in for one more hug, but this time with a feeling that drew strength from the peace of mind that his family was intact at last. "I vow that nothing will keep me from protecting either of you ever again." He set Kagami down on her feet and looked in the direction of Evergreen, who had just finished granting her blessings to Kenshin and Masato. "I'm not ready to leave just yet." He averted his gaze when Evergreen briefly met his, hesitant to be surprised that she would notice through all of the other people gathered around her. He wasn't particularly hurried to speak with her, and there was only so much that could be said that they hadn't already said to each other since his own ascension.
Sandayu looked upon his son, and smiled proudly at the young man as he approached and set his left hand on Satoshi's shoulder. "Satoshi. You honor the Iga clan and Genburyuichirousuke family with your deeds and your talents. Our ancestors are beholden to the heir of Tengakure." A roar a cheers would ensue for the sake of the young lord as the surviving Iga warriors congregated at the far edges of their leader's family. Sandayu gave almost half minute of rising adulation for Satoshi before silence hushed over the entire crowd at once when he raised his other hand. He set his right hand down on Satoshi's other shoulder and continued speaking, "As I said, my greatest regret is not being there for you in your youth. I have only my weakness to blame for being unable to traverse between the realms until recently. I've no doubt, looking upon you entirely, that your impassioned journey has honed your strength, garnered your power, secured our greatest victory, and freed us all from a fatal destiny." This time Sandayu would pull Satoshi in for a hug all to themselves. "I love you, my son." As they separated he would add, "Naturally, you may consider Amenominakanushi as much your home as you do here in your holy grandmother's domain." He looked back toward the gateway that revealed the heart of Tengakure on the other side. Sandayu then created a black chakra receiver in the form of the Iga clan's emblem and handed it to his son, "You may join your mother and I whenever you wish. I understand if you have matters to attend here before you join us." His byakugan's expansive view briefly fixated on Botenmaru and Satoshi's other subordinates that had also survived the battle. More importantly, Sandayu took a few moments longer to soak in the visage of his precious progeny; for the first time in his life, he was starting to comprehend the value of hope.
Sandayu would pat Satoshi on the shoulder before walking over to Kagami and giving her a peck on the cheek. "I must speak with my brother and mother before we depart." As tempted as he was to return the request for her to not leave him behind, he simply couldn't stomach being the catalyst for such dry humor. The Iga warriors would part ranks for Sanda to pass into the outlying shinobi and samurai forces gathered around the other heroes. The rest of them would be a bit more difficult to navigate through, and he simply didn't have the patience for that obstacle with his wife waiting for him to conclude his business. Sandayu held his hands forward and channeled repelling gravitational forces to part the sea of rejuvenated shinobi and samurai to clear the most direct path to Evergreen. None would suffer injury as they were tossed aside, but they were blocked by a residual repelling force to keep the path clear as Sandayu walked along it. His attention remained solely focused on her as she finished her interaction with Masato; leaving him to contemplate his newfound burden with the power fully brought out in him, and the responsibilities that came with it. "It is good that you conditioned yourself to be able to master your full power, brother. Congratulations. It was an h-" He stopped mid sentence. His eyes also perceived a new group of veiled visitors appearing in proximity of the giant shrub that grew out of the juubi's corpse. Sanda's jaw tensed for a moment; he was ready to resume his avenging at a moment's notice. All the same, the absolute gall for them to lay hands on such a thing did bring his blood back to boil. Their leader's praise only painted a more distinct target on his back as he and his mysterious followers vanished again.

As proof of this, Moyahane, Tsuyuyeru, Daikyuren, and Kaishinjiiva will reside in this world- hidden in stasis near its ley lines, and will only stir if they ever detect a calamity that would disturb the world's natural balance." As he said this, the four great beasts of Amenominakanushi departed to their would-be resting places. Afterward, he raised his head and looked between Masato and Kenshin again before adding, "If it is your will, then I will stand aside. I have full confidence that these two will be able to handle guardianship of this world, starting with investigating those white-hooded, golden strangers." Afterward, he stood upright and regained his usual composure. It was not expressed by Evergreen that he'd have him continue any involvement beyond his own interests with his home world now that he had his own growing demi-plane to oversee. He gave one last nod of acknowledgement to Masato before returning to Kagami, hugging Satoshi one more time, and returning through the gateway to Amenominakanushi with the rest of the Iga forces. There was much to celebrate, and infinitely more to prepare for.

Her eyelids stirred, heavy with exhaustion the fight pressed on her, but his presence urged her to open them. Slowly, she blinked, letting the sharp brilliance above soften and sharpen, bringing the world—and him—into focus.
Taking in his presence as he knelt beside her and cupped her hand. Masato's hold felt steady as if grounding the fragile hope they reclaimed. Her throat tightened as a swell of profound captivation curved her lips into a doting smile. For the time being, Sadayo simply indulged in the pause and returned his hold. She was rather content in savoring another careful, yet carefree, exchange that made their idyllic yesterday all the sweeter. All else, even a goddess, felt small compared to the bubble of a lifting feeling that ensnared as her fingers tightened some around Masato’s hand.
It wasn’t until the goddess addressed Masato that Sadayo was finally torn. Her indulgent captivation cleaved for the color in the world. She sat upright. Her hair was almost uncanny to behold such a towering tree in place of an embodiment of devastation- or a massive ugly geoduck- as the sand spirit inside her might have said. She had caught a glimpse of the goddess's divine scepter. Its own grandeur did not spark awe, to say the least. Feeling her expression furrow. Something she just did not yet fully understand took place. What did it mean? A task to be entrusted with the fate of the world? A gentle puff passes from her nose as she shifts onto her knee to part from her grassy bunk. Sorrow. Ire. Upright, Sadayo diverted her attention as the goddess surmised her crimes. Crimes fate itself tasked a mortal girl to attempt to remedy. A shred of thought even dared to question how much of Masato’s future was just defined for him, yet, then her thoughts began to blur on the event. The strange voice pulling her attention to turn toward it. Newcomers, as they were, came and went. Her expression furrowed, another sigh bled out with frail sense of relief and she finally turned her attention again. Clumps of her hair seem to rise when Himitsu’s voice chimed in her thoughts and made her aware, if truly so, that they could at last leave this place. Leave! Finally!
Outwardly, she nodded deeply, and plainly stepped once more but did so to close the inches from her to the side of Masato’s arm. She pressed her forehead, fondly, into his shoulder. Her arms working to weave around his arm and murmurs her one, most outstanding desire: ”Take me back.” This embrace about his bicep tightening, ”I want to see our baby girl again.”
