"I dont think anyone knows how Mu and this place is getting less and less stable," he said looking to the monster tearing up its reality then back to Mu and her cousin Rhea ...??? He frowned looking at the girl who looked very young. It reminded him of when Maia was brought into all this.
"It's a long story which I will explain," he frowned as the wind seemed to be pushing them closer to the monster, "... when we dont have a monster to fight."
He held is staff tighter, "stay close ... ," he said ready to fight, trying to ignore the need to get home to his family. A need that only grew stronger, desperately so. It was overwhelming ... as was the energy. What was even going on here. This was all very confusing.
He started toward the monster, dodging falling electricity and trying to make sure Mu and Rhea were still close, headed right for the monster and batting away the smaller acting beast as he went.
Reaching the monster, he took the staff and aimed for whatever he could hit. Everyone else seemed to be attacking the monster, so hopefully they would be able to get out.
Rhea determined pretty quickly that Mu's boss was probably like a super cool dude. She didnt however like that everything was leading them to the monster including Shang. She looked to Mu when he started running at the monster and shouted, "really?!?"
She however didn't want to get let behind, so she took off after him. She felt pretty useless but tried throwing her magic at the beast for what little good in did, instead hitting on of the small monster making it fall out of sky doing an odd short of wheezing growl of sorts. She guessed it was laughter.
Shang seemed more equipped for this and Rhea looked to Mu, "give a boost cuz!"

There were many people attacking the monster and it seemed maybe they hadnt needed to do much because soon the monster went down the crystal shattered despite the monsters attempts to stop it. It tore another whole and Pharos looked to Lacille and nodded, "yes let's get out of here. I can try to bat as many of there other's as we run for it."
She gripped her staff and started to run trying to be careful of the bodies around her, everyone running for the same goal. Get back to Destiny City. She swung her staff batting at any monster that try to follow them. They couldn't escape and wreak havoc on the city, they had enough problems.
"You okay," she asked as she ran.

If Ilian thought Lovely was going to leave without him, he was very much mistaken. The last thing he wanted, after they’d only just found one another, was to be separated again. With their luck, Ilian would get himself stuck here, or whisked off to some other random dimension, maybe tackled and captured by a White Moon Senshi who thought he knew too much about all this nonsense.
“Go,” Lovely told Kamacite and the Lieutenant. He probably shouldn’t try to speak with any sort of authority as a civilian, but his voice was firm and confident, like he was used to ordering people around. “We’ll be right behind you.”
He kept Kamacite’s robe. It would disppaear when Kamacite powered down, and return to him the next time he transformed.
Lovely turned back for Ilian and grabbed him by the arm. He didn’t pull him away yet, but his grip was strong enough that Ilian should know he wasn’t against doing so if push came to shove.
“It’s cute how you think I’d actually leave you here on your own,” he said.
Except it wasn’t cute at all. It was ******** annoying. If Lovely wasn’t used to it by now, he’d being ranting Ilian’s ear off.
He might rant it off anyway, once they finally made it home.
The giant monster was defeated. Or it seemed to be, anyway. That didn’t stop all the other smaller monsters, but at least there was a way out now! Progress!
“Come on,” Cymophane said, encouraging Reidite along. “We can get out now! See? I told you it’d be fine!”
Alright, maybe he hadn’t said that. Had he? Cymophane couldn’t remember. It would be like him to give reassurances even when he had no basis for them, so he assumed he must have, at some point, tried to calm Reidite down with similar sentiments. These sorts of things happened all the time. Or so he’d heard. Something about holidays seemed to draw out the giant not!youma monsters. There’d been a different one around this time last year, now that he thought about it!
Of coure, back then, they hadn’t gotten stuck in some other dimension.
But they weren’t stuck now, so all was well! Even if it seemed like this place might be falling apart. And they didn’t have long to get to passageway out. It was fine! They just had to leave quickly!
With Reidite beside him, Cymophane began heading toward the opening that led to Destiny City. He could seem Kamacite just up ahead, and passed two familiar civilians on the way. Cymophane whistled just loud enough to get Ilian’s attention, offering a little wave to let him know he was getting his a** out of there, not to worry.

Lourdes was fully prepared and opening her mouth to say fine, then stay here and get killed. If the kid was going to be ungrateful, then she can take what she asked for. She could fend for herself. But then the kinder knight spoke up and convinced her otherwise.
"You're lucky he was here," she hissed, utterly disgusted at the lack of regard and the audacity to choose when the kid was obviously a beggar.
But she still ran, and she still defended to kid, using her weapon as a baseball bat as she did so, fending off what she could. The inky black blood of the creatures stained her uniform, and she tried not to be pissed off about it, but she was already irritated by the shitty kid and now this. She just wanted to go home to her dog and her movies and maybe call some of her brigade over to have a snack with her.
It was Eld. Even behind the beard, Ymir recognized his smile. And his voice. And his eyes, always.
He wanted to ask what happened, how he got here, but now wasn’t the time. A part of Ymir wondered if Surtur was even real. Maybe he’d hit his head and he was hallucinating, and the person dragging him along was a stranger his brain replaced with the image of someone familiar.
Would his brain add the extra details? The age. The obvious fatigue. The subtle changes to Surtur’s demeanor that Ymir only noticed when he looked closely enough. A tension, maybe. Like Surtur hadn’t been able to let himself truly relax in a long time. And why, out of everyone his brain could have conjured up, would he hallucinate Surtur in particular? There were better options.
Better, maybe, but more painful, too.
Ymir let himself be led away.
“I know where we can find shelter,” he said.
If he could have chosen anyone from his life to find here, he wouldn’t have picked Surtur, but now that Surtur was here... Ymir didn’t relish the thought of being alone again.
Besides, they had a thousand years worth of catching up to do.
Aliez stayed close to the others once they got close enough, and he quickly looked them over to check for immediate injuries. There was a pang of… something… sadness? When he saw Vaylin up close. It had been so long it seemed… He wasn’t used to being away from anyone in the Vanguard.
Well… until they decided to go with either the Commodore or stay behind. He was glad she looked well enough.
Sticking together, now more than ever, was the most important thing. Listening to Vyn was easy, and he nodded and while he didn’t want to move away from Andreiya, he did as Vyn said and focused on keeping any creatures from attacking Vaylin and Nessaela as they protected them.
“Stay close to me,” he requested of Andreiya, not willing to lose him or any of the others again, but he knew that Andreiya was distressed. Vyn was at least good under pressure. He was proud of him. And of Tenoch and the others.
And then--
The creature fell. It was defeated. Which meant--
“Vyn, the openings!” Aliez gasped. Others were escaping. They needed to get out.
“Stay together, and we’ll get out. I can keep my shield up,” he said as he grabbed Andreiya’s hand again and made his way to ready his shield to block any creatures or humans from hurting them.
Arsenolite just... looked at Tagame... No, Murikabushi? In complete and utter confusion and bafflement. Why had the senshi chosen to lie about his name? What kind of weird joke had he been playing on Arsenolite?
In mute horror, he wondered if the guy had just taken one look at him and knew exactly the kind of weird s**t he was into, and decided to lie about his name to make Arsenolite google it to get some weird kick out of it.
The video game references, he didn't understand beyond being able to understand that they were video game references, so it rolled right over his head.
"Well, we could do some—" and he was cut off by the big guy falling over and then his... crystal thing exploding. "Alright. That was easy. Come on, let's go. Nice to meet you, Volterra, by the way."
He grabbed their hands and started hauling a** to get them all out of there together.
Volterra raised nis eyebrows at Murikabushi, confused for only a moment about the stupid lie thing he had told Arsenolite, then snorted as ne got the joke. Good God, ne loved nis cousin, but sometimes... Ne just shook nis head and bumped Muri's shoulder with nis.
"You're crazy, niichan, you know that, right?" ne asked with a little smirk on nis lips, scanning the area for monsters to attack. Whenever ne played video games, which wasn't often, ne was the sort to take out the smaller guys so ne could attack the big bad without getting all "death by a thousand cuts" about it.
But then, the big guy exploded, and some crystal thing shattered, and everything went a little... funny. Nis vision warped and bent as the portals all began shutting violently, and ne had to try very hard to ignore one that shut as as something (or someone, but ne prayed it was one of the monsters) was partially in it and... No, nope, not thinking about it.
And then nis hand was taken and they were running towards the big portal.
"s**t, s**t, s**t," ne chanted, stumbling along on unsteady legs. Ne was not meant for sprinting in ******** heels!
If Arsenolite wanted to talk about name-related hijinks and the hows-and-whys of Reiki’s choice to lie to him……well, they could do that later. For now, escaping seemed to be the best option. The only option, really. It wouldn't damn well matter why Reiki had lied if the three of them never got home and wound up stuck in this horrible, sticky place with these gargoyles unworthy of taking anyone to bed.
Glancing over at his cousin, though, Reiki found himself very distracted from the pressing matter of escape. "'Terra, d'you want me to carry you?" he offered, looking well away from where they were going so he could lean around Arsenolite, trying to look more at Haruhi. "You can hop on my back. We'll move faster if you don't have to worry about spraining your ankle in those boots."
Really, it wasn't fair what the Black Mirror had done to poor Haruhi, outfit-wise. You just didn't take someone who wasn't used to heels and put them up in boots like that before you worked on training them in something smaller. It was only common sense.
Arsenolite noted the issue once Murikabushi spoke and let go of both their hands with a quick nod, lagging with them. He'd get all three of them out of there.
Volterra startled a bit at the nickname, but flashed Murikabushi a grin and slowed for just a moment, long enough to prepare for a leap, in heels, to smack nemself onto Murikabushi's back and cling like a koala.
Arsenolite didn't take Murikabushi's hand this time, but he kept a steady pace beside the two of them, keeping an eye out for monsters now that the other two in his company were definitely not able to fight. Not like this.
Getting ready for Haruhi took only a deep breath and a nod. When ne came leaping, Reiki caught nem and fixed his hands and arms underneath nis legs. "Any time, cousin," he said fondly, then, moving forward, glanced to Arsenolite. "Watch out for the spray if you have to shoot any of the assholes. They die pretty easy, but they spew tar everywhere."
A huff, and as a thought occurred, the “!!!” indicator might as well have popped up over Reiki's head. "What about Monoceros? Did he get dragged in, too?"
Come to think, he hadn't heard anything from Toráin in a few days.… He tried to allow some leeway and not be too clingy about people not texting back, especially when they had superior officers to worry about like Toráin did. But Reiki would've thought the last thing he texted—a pic Hinami had sent him of some Instagram-famous chihuahua in a rainbow-striped sweater, riding a skateboard—would've gotten some kind of response, and yet……nothing.
Arsenolite just shook his head. "Don't know. Weird s**t happens like this every year; just happens to some, so it's possible he's just... at home," he hedged, not sure if he should bring his conspiracy theory to Murikabushi just yet. He needed to talk to Ashanite first.
Suddenly, they were at the portal, and he breathed a sigh of relief, taking Murikabushi's hand again.
She decided to wait till they were out safely before grilling her boss for any reason why he was out late tonight instead of with his family. She held onto Rhea, shivering at the sheer amount of energy that was in the air. It was oppressive and borderline too much. Kicks and punches met any monster that tried to get close, which she was glad she was taking kick boxing classes. Figuring her cousin could keep up, Mu let go of her hand, freeing her up for more punches. She damned near got struck by lightning, barely dodging out of the way.
"Give him a boost?! Rhea are you nuts?!" But then again.........This could work in their favor. She pulled Rhea close to her, "Get ready to back the ******** up. We cant be in his sights at all."
She sighed, "Sorry boss.....Erm....Ultimate Violence." she touched him with her finger, making sure the red ball of light absorbed into his skin. "Run back Rhea!" Her boss was not ever aggressive, so she doesn't know the effect her powers would have on him, but then again, violence can do some crazy things to people.
Ultimate Violence: In this intermediate attack, it’s the same as her previous attack except that the affected target is twice as aggressive than what they could be from the first attack. This effect however, spreads to the next target the first target strikes with their next attack. It can affect up to three people including the original target. However, if say the third person hits another, then the later is affected while the previous is brought back to their senses since there is only a max of three people that can be affected in the first place. This attack will only last about 45 seconds and can be used twice.
Nodding, Proto made sure to hang onto Acubens, looking behind her with her arm outstretched to throw a bubble at any thing she could. This was a very scary situation for the poor senshi, but she could put on a brave face and kick a**. Hopefully, when they are out of this place she could look into some peroxide and bandages to cover her injuries. She wasn't sure if she would be able to hide them from her roomie, but she could always say she tripped and fell, that always works.

Lacille nodded "Yes I'm alright we need to get out of here before we are both not alright." She said as she ran worried they would be killed if they stayed in this place. She kicked monsters out of her way as she ran quickly towards the exit.
Vyn breathed a sighed of relief. With the largest creature defeated, a path back to Destiny City became available to them, though it was rapidly closing.
They could make it. They were fast, and none of them seemed injured, just a bit filthy from their surroundings. The important thing was that they were all together, even if, due to their varied choices, it might not last.
Vyn glanced around to ensure he hadn’t overlooked anyone from the Vanguard. He saw Senshi, Knights, and Officers all attempting to make their escape, but had no real desire to aid any of them. They all had their own people to support them.
“Hurry,” he said, and encouraged the others along.
Vyn brought up the rear and kept firing upon the smaller creatures when he could. He might not care if some of them escaped this realm, but the less of them that did so, the better.
