Heh, just send your surplus rain our was, we sure could use it!
I love your new avi.
I wish i could. we have gotten so much rain the last month it is crazy.
Thank you so so much.
It could be worse, you could be downwind from several insanely large wildfires and in extreme drought.
That is a very good point. sorry you are dealing with that.
Thanks. So far this year we've been fairly lucky, only one very hazardous air quality day; the winds have kept the smoke blowing away from us. But there is a new fire to the west so.... right now the smoke from that is just to the south of us by about 10 miles.
Last year starting in midJuly and going to Nov. in comparison, the smoke lasted pretty much the entire time, most of it in the hazardous or above ratings.

An early rainy season would be wonderful, but even early is still a few months away.

It's just how things are. And ironically, it's turning out that here is one of the few smoke free places in the country today.
I know we will have smoky days comiing soon though. We'll deal as we always have.

There is only one way to deal with bad air, stay inside and try not to breath when you have to go out, keep windows closed and use something to purify the air if it goes on too long. Expect to feel like crap--even doing all that you will have irritated eyes, throat, sinus and airways plus headache.

We all do when the weather is nice. It sucks to have so many really bad air days for long periods in recent years. But we do what we must.
Today I got an email about a music festival outside in the nearby mountains and I'd like to go, provided it's not too smoky or crowded. I won't by tickets now, but wait until closer in to see how it is. Once you buy tickets, you don't get a refund if you can't go.

Me too, but no way to know until close in due to COVID surges and the fires. I miss live music.

Here we're back at the levels we were in Feb. The smoke though is actually of greater concern given where the festival is located. They shortened it from the usual 3 days to just a half day too after cancelling it last year. As expected, the winds shifted just as several fires exploded in size so we are now socked in solid.
Check my equip list; my background is actually 3 very old items.
