Despite his saying that he did not see the two as connected in terms of his family and demonclan, it seemed Ora thought there was a connection between the two as she began to speak about the demon clan again rather than his family directly. He couldn't see how such a thing were possible. 'Father would have told me...Wouldn't he?' He thought to himself, unsure why something like that may be withheld. He never knew his father to have many secrets but he was fairly young when he last saw him. Regardless of these worries he would continue to listen to her to try and see where she was getting at. He wouldn't know why this connection was being made until he heard her out completely, and figuring some of this may be significant, he did note her mention of the fact that he fit in the faunus group to be one of them. Yet they said he was supposed to have extra durability of strength, which while he was strong, he never believed himself stronger than the average faunus such as himself. He rarely saw any however, and never interacted with the few he did, so he did not have a base for comparison there. Seeing her reach behind her back and hearing a zipper going down, Henryk immediately averted his eyes the other way and brought his hands up over his face. 'What is she doing!? I can't look at her now why is she-' He was panickedly thinking to himself of why she would do something like that till he heard her speak. She was saying something about things being done to her...and Henryk slowly turned his head back towards her, lowering his arms. Rationalizing she shouldn't be naked and praying she wasn't if she wanted to show something like that from all her previous mentioning of being a slave. Henryk paled, and if his jaw could've fallen it off it would have. He could only dimly understand what she was saying as he saw the massive amount of scars across her body. It was so much he wondered how she was even alive with it. His thoughts immediately switched to his family who were captured by slavers...worried what happened to them again. Hearing how aura only made things worse...he couldn't imagine the amount of pain that was. She even went further to mention how demonclan were born and bred as slaves... 'What can I even say to this...' He thought to himself at a genuine loss for words. He wanted to hug her to comfort her...but he was now afraid of the pain it could cause just by touching her. Even saying sorry or anything felt like it could not truly capture how bad he felt for what happened to her.

As she looked down, him still in shock at what he had seen, she would continue to his question. Swallowing to clear his throat at the sudden dryness that had overcome it, he would listen to her again as his eyes would be staring at her despite her not returning the gaze. The more she spoke the more she realized the connection she was making. 'The phrase my father would tell me...was their war cry...which means...He was one of them by blood since it was before I lost him...Meaning I am one by blood...' Henryk thought to himself, making the connection she likely had when he said he knew the phrase. His father had apparently not told him everything of who he was. Who all of them were. 'So when we were attacked it was because of...our blood.' Henryk realized suddenly as he put these things together. It would make sense to be as such...but he didn't want to believe it. Perhaps his father had merely supported the group and knew the phrase as such. He may not have been part of it. He didn't want to believe that his entire family was taken solely because they were some kind of demon faunus. That would mean his father hadn't told them something that could've maybe kept them safe. If they knew they all would have been much more careful. 'That has to be it...right..?' He silently questioned to himself, in doubt about everything. He was so distraught that despite hearing the groups purpose his mind could hardly register it. He just didn't want this stuff to be true, wanted his old belief of it being a tragic accident that could've happened to anyone to remain as the truth.

Focusing again on Ora, he noticed her gaze was no longer downcast but instead intensely staring at him.He flinched at the intensity of it and his own internal thoughts, feeling on the spotlight with no act prepared. Like the first time he had ever performed. The more she spoke...the more his old belief was shattered and disproved. She had heard it from a man about a decade ago...about the same time he lost his family to slavers. She said his horns were similar and he had black hair...something about how anger changed him and her...but most importantly that he had children near her age. With the age she gave for herself and the timeline...she was not far from his siblings and his own age. Which meant...it could have been his father...the timing was far to convenient. 'Which means...I'm one of them...' Henryk admitted to himself, moving from denial to acceptance. Somehow Ora had known more about his family than he did...which did not feel the greatest. He was about to ask if she knew where he was...but she answered that herself as she said the last she saw of him was when they lost their fight. Which meant he was back to square one in terms of the fate of is family...but he at least knew his father lasted longer than he had thought...so there may be hope for the others...He was thinking of what to say as he vaguely noticed her pull up her wet suit to cover her scars. 'What are you supposed to say when you find out your family kept a secret from you what you were...?' He tried thinking to himself. He truly wasn't sure. However, he knew one thing. He had lived oblivious of it before and had been happy ever since. His life didn't have to change completely just because he found out something...but that didn't mean he shouldn't try to learn more. He knew they stood for freedom, but he hadn't heard of such a group or anything of its specifics. "So now that I know...what happens now?" He simply asked. He wasn't sure where to start with any of this. There was too much that he knew and too little that he did to even guess at things.

Ora noticed how overwhelmed he was by all of this. She felt bad, had she done a bad job of saying what they were? She was kind of frantic, she didn't know if this was the right thing to do. She did know one thing. He wasn't denying anything that she said. "No matter what, you are my blood brother. That's what I meant by brother. I don't know any of my direct siblings, and it's hard to know with slavery." Wait, that wasn't answering his question. He wanted to know what to do now.

"As long as we are free, and not as Slaves, we are winning. Personally I'm trying to find the captured leader of Ṿσяα¢ισυѕ. You are allowed to do whatever you want with your freedom, but I would love to just have someone to talk to about this stuff...I haven't seen another Demon clan member for 3 years, not since we lost the war with Vale.

She started feeling guilty again as she looked down. He could have been ignorant, she could have left him that way, but she knew the danger of doing that. She didn't want him to be captured, but she also didn't want most of their kind in the hands of slavers. However, she knew her mission was too important to give up. It was all a mess in her head. She would put a hand into her wool like hair, not knowing exactly what to do. If he wanted to fight for freedom, she was more than willing to work with him. If he wanted to be a normal person, all she would want is someone to talk to.

    Ella Fletcher
"Would you like to go for a swim?"

Ella was still cautious around the young man who knew her name, she could tell by his smile that he meant no immediate threat and stopped tensing her arm and body, appearing more relaxed about everything. Ella's eyes opened widely as he mentioned that he was from Atlas, although she knew everything that had gone on in Atlas, she couldn't help but feel sightly envious that he had witnessed Atlas before it fell, it was something she had read about in so many books buy never got to witness in reality.

Letting out a little chuckled at how someone had described her, she gestured to the book in her left hand and shrugged. "I suppose they described me pretty well then huh?" she said, putting her book back into a little backpack she carried.

Upon hearing him talk about her reading anything, she got carried away with her thoughts about books she had read about Atlas, architecture and white steeds on horses. She became more excited when she thought he was about to approach her with a question about architecture - finally a time to shine. However, when he then continued by asking her about building a sand castle, she came straight back to reality with a great big thud in her mind.

Ella looked down at the beach, it was filled with people. She looked over to Henryk and could see his hands were full. She began to panic a little internally, big crowds just weren't her thing, however she wanted to get to know this man a little more and didn't really want her conversation with either parties to end. She gulped harshly, and smiled to Henryk, "Henryk, would you like to-" before she finished she heard him stating he wanted some along time with the young girl who had horns just like him, and she decided she wouldn't intrude.

Turning to the young man who had invited her to the beach, she attempted a smile, although she was terrified she decided to be strong. "In order to begin a successful sand castle, we must find an agreeable space and start with a strong foundation!" she said, tensing her fist in a playful manner to go along with her ridiculous instructions. "Oh, I didn't catch you name? Since i'm such a celebrity and you already know mine, its only fair, right?" she added, smiling.

"Just calm down, you are close to the water, nobody is going to be able to hurt you.." she thought to herself, in an attempt to calm her nerves about both being with a man and going into a group situation.

Danaë was brought into Tessa's bosom. Her feathers would rub up against the woman's soft, down-like fur. She still wasn't good with personal space. She wished that Tessa would ask before picking them up, or hugging, but there was nothing that Danaë could do. She would see Narx wriggle out of Tessa's arms as he was ready to go to the volleyball court. She would carefully get herself out of that bind. However, they said that if anything were happening with them, then they should speak up.

Danaë would take a deep breathe. "I have something going on...my older brother is missing. That was in the letter from my parents. He only went to Signal because of me, and...." Danaë couldn't help herself, she started crying. It was the brother that she was the closest to, seeing as she was one of 8. He helped her get better after the Grimm attack on her. He had such a promising career away from fighting grimm before it happened.

She would dry her tears with the feathers on her arms. "I'll be fine, but if there is a mission outside I want to try to find him. I'm just worried with all the anti-faunus groups out there." She needed to get it together. She was their team leader. She would do this for him, her brother Asgar, just as he had down for her. "You could say we are two birds of a feather." She would chuckle lightly at her pun.

She would then go to Narx. "I'm ready now..." She would then look back to her other team mates, hoping that they would follow them. It was then that she felt her Semblance turn off. The world felt thicker when it happened, and she wasn't able to keep up as well. She felt off balence, but she didn't want to show that to Narx.

The tension in Ella's body seemed to fade as Remus explained everything to her. Though she still possessed an air of being on edge that he found odd. It was like she was permanently incapable of relaxing. 'Well she is a book worm. Aren't they usually awkward around people? No social skills so to speak since they spend more time with written words than verbal.' It made sense. But he really shouldn't just jump to conclusions with so little evidence. She was definitely a book work though given she actually let out a short, soft burst of laughter before actually praising the accuracy of that nondescript description of her. It really was a bad description but she had a point as well. It was the bookworm portion of it that let him find her. She was the only person on the beach that had a book on her person. 'Well the second person.' He thought as he placed a hand over a pocket that had a rectangular outline within it. Most would probably think it to be just a wallet, but it was in fact a pocket book.

With his invite out there she seemed to first want to ask the others something. Remus turned his head to look over where the other three had been. Ella's words faded as she noticed what he now noticed as well. The other three had slipped off somewhere while they had been distracted. He looked around but all three of them had moved off somewhere out of sight. Since there was no way she could ask what she wanted Ella gave up and turned her head back towards Remus. He shifted his focus back onto her as well. All the while he took note of that awkward smile she had. She was definitely trying to put up a front for some reason. Regardless she still agreed to the idea. Even started off by immediately stating that they should find an agreeable spot to make the foundation. Remus nodded his head. "Yes, a spot that is close enough to the water front to easily move water for packing the sand, but far enough away to be safe from the tide. It should also be removed from others. Plenty of space for us to work without worry of anyone stepping on our work by accident." He responded with that same air of confidence she heard when he first asked who she was. He took out his scroll and began flipping through pictures. He flipped it around to show her a picture of a sand castle. "Like I said it shall be epic and like the saying says: 'Go big or go home.'" He was beaming as he spoke.

After giving Ella some time to examine the picture he returned his scroll to the pocket it same from. That picture was not exactly what he hoped to make but an indication of why he was seeking out someone that had read up on architecture. A person who would have ideas on how to make their project stand out as being most excellent, but also make sure it doesn't fall apart just because they are trying to make it look good. Remus was about to offer Ella a hand and lead the way to find themselves that perfect foundation location when she asked something that made him show her an expression that stood out on his face as being something uncommon. It was confusion. "Huh? My name?" He questioned in a confused voice. He clearly remembered giving her that information right off the bat. Before he even explained how he had found her. Of course he wasn't aware that the mention of being from Atlas had excited the girl's mind. That alone had apparently made the detail of what his name was go in one ear and then fall out the other. "The name is Reinhart; Remus Reinhart." He waited for a moment to make sure she caught it that time. Then he returned right back to the plan of finding them a spot. Reaching out his hand for her's though not outright grabbing it. He would leave taking it up to her. "Now are you all ready? Let go find that spot and raise a monument of the ages! Even if ages for it ends up only being a week..."

Once in the water, Aaron watched as the other two girls came in after him. Lunia did take his offer on how to teach her. He would gladly smile and swim over to her. "Of course I will. " He said getting off his board to be part way in the water. Thinking back on how he learned it was rather simple. Hopefully it would be something that she would be able to grasp. "So we are going to start off with the basics...." He started off saying as his eyes watched Zylah head into the water. She seemed confident but something told him that there was something more. Who really knew for sure, but she was attempting it on her own. Which he wished her luck of course with a simple smile. Turning back to his captain. "...Anyways a good way to start is rather simple. Standing up on the board right away can be dangerous. You gotta get a feeling for it. So lets start by riding waves while laying down." He suggested. It might have been a boring option but it was how he learned.

Zylah on the other hand was taking the initiative. She swam out a bit more and got to her feet on the board. While Aaron was proud for a moment a wave came by and knocked her off almost easily. He had happened to laugh as she fell into the water. Though after a moment, she didn't come back to the surface....He waited a moment before he realized she wasn't coming up. "Ah no..." Taking in a breath he dove under the water attempting to find her. He swam with his eyes open trying to find her. On his way towards her. Though to his surprise something else came into his view. It was a board, her surf board? It seemed to shoot through on its own and grab Zylah. He would shoot back to the surface right after she was sent back. He was a bit confused. "What the hell happened?" He questioned being rather confused.

Noticing the sudden change in her demeanor, the softness of her voice, the tear glistening like a diamond in the afternoon sun, Eli's first thoughts was that his gentle teasing had actually hurt her feelings. After all, there was a time when a comment like that would have nearly broken her. Eli never had the intentions of upsetting, but the playful jests were just a part of his nature. Still, for years he had to carefully watch the things that he said, until she began strong enough to take the words just as they were, a tease. Still, the thought that maybe he had pushed too far, crossed some sort of invisible line, caused a look of near panic to consume his features. He opened his mouth to speak, an apology on his tongue. That is, until she turned to face him with a smile on her lips, a smile that was more precious to him than anything in the world. He wanted nothing more than to keep it there, just like that in this perfect moment of bliss between them, for the rest of their days. Realizing he had misread the situation, these were not tears of sadness, but of joy the look of panic transformed into that of a gentle smirk. "Oh, Cali." He murmured murmured with a chuckle, a look on his face that could be described as nothing less than pure adoration. "You always find something to cry about. It's always the water works with you." Grinning at her, he reached out, ruffling her hair in a playful sort of gesture but likely it was more that he was just searching for an excuse to be close to her, to let his fingers graze her.

Maybe it was rude for him to tease her so much, especially in this manner... but as with most things when it came to Cali, he couldn't help it. Her reactions were much to cute and made it all worth it. The way she puffed her cheeks out so defiantly, red from the embarrassment. What made it all the better was that it was not some show she put on for attention, it wasn't her trying to be cute, it wasn't her trying to be anything. It was just Cali. Cali in the purest and most rawest of forms. Exactly how he preferred it. As she might have expected, her further attempts to fluster him were but another failure. It accomplished nothing more than a cheeky grin to tug at his lips as he thumped his chest proudly. "I suppose that's the one thing that sets me apart from the rest of the creeps and perverts of this world... my persistence." He joked, letting out a soft laugh at the comment all the while those electric hues never left her. He was soaking up every detail, every little movement, every word, every action. The angle the sun was hitting her, the way it reflected off her sandy orbs, giving them an almost golden glint. The way the wind tugged at her caramel locks. The pink tinge of her cheeks. The ocean dancing slowly in the background. It was beautiful. She was beautiful. His gaze intensified slightly as he committed it all to memory. A look she would be far past family with by now. One he saved for moments like this.

Eli shook his head, pressing a finger delicately to her lips to shush her interjections. "It's not something I've never been through before, Cali, and it's not something I wouldn't bare a thousand times over. You should know that." He told her, the smile on his lips much gentle now, his blue orbs softened. "Besides, I don't mind the scars in the slightest. They're just pieces of us, little parts of our story." His voice remained gentle through this, that same adoring look in his eyes, but the smirk was slowly breaking through the expression. "Besides, what kind of man would I be if I let an infection take me down? From a little bit of salt water no less." Eli raised a teasing brow at her, the smirk growing until it lit up his entire face. He wore the expression so casually, so often. It was nothing short than normal for him. It was the gentle smiles, the tender looks that were more rare... though Cali did have a knack for drawing it out of him. The spider rolled his eyes playfully at her exclamation of success, though the moment was short lived as the gloves were tossed her way. She jumped, stumbled, and then fumbled, the gloves falling victim to the sand in her clumsiness. Eli couldn't help the chuckle that followed her comment. "Consider it practice. If I keep you on your toes enough, maybe one of these days you'll actually catch something." He teased gently. Once again there was that slight confliction of whether this was just rude. Perhaps it was, but it was done in good fun. In the end it brought a smile to both of their faces, so it really couldn't be all that bad. At her comment about radiating like the sun, his eyes softened once more, that same gentle smile flickering over his lips. "You radiate just fine the way you are, Cali... though, a glorious tan might be nice." He told her sincerely before chuckling at the final part of his comment.

His boop to her nose couldn't have been more worth it and her reaction couldn't have been more priceless. His smirk grew as she went cross eyed before puffing her cheeks out once more followed by the crinkling of her nose. She really was an utterly adorable creature and the spider boy couldn't have been more enthralled by her. He was completely enticed by her presence and showed in the way his eyes never left her, despite the plethora of nearly half naked woman shuffling past him. It showed in the way he constantly directed his body towards her, like he was ready to put himself between her and any threat but also couldn't stand even the slightest of distance. "Sorry, miss, nose boops are entirely nonrefundable." He teased in a mockingly authoritative voice, that same cheeky grin find it's way onto his lips. As their conversation drifted to what activity they would like to do first, he couldn't help but feel a little guilty for asking. He should have just scooped her up and carried her to the water, as that was something she could do without having to worry. However, noticing the slight concern on her face, he tilted her chin up to look at him with a gloved finger. "You know I wouldn't let anything bad happen to you, right?" He questioned, his electric blue eyes vastly more serious than they had been the entire trip. "Let's just swim around for a while. It's rather hot anyway." He stated simply, smiling. Maybe they would try out the volleyball field later. He knew she wouldn't mind watching and while he was shore his abilities gave him a couple tricks up his sleeve, he thought the first event of the day could be something Cali could participate in. re than anything else he just wanted her to enjoy herself. It seemed they both had the same mindset, either would be happy as long as they were with the other.

He really should have seen her own little trick coming, but he was too distracted by her closeness to realize. As she reached up, their faces coming nearly face to face, he couldn't do much more than stare at her, his eyes momentarily darting to her lips, just a few short inches away. Caught up in her gaze, the smear of cold, slimy gel across his nose made his eyes widen initially. Then he chuckled, noticing the sly little grin on her face. "Watch out little minx, this just means I'll have to get you back later." He murmured in a low tone, winking at here again. "Now come back here, I'm not finished." He chided playfully, catching her gently by the wrist to tug her closer to him. With her face satisfactory covered and protected, after squeezing more of the cream into his hands, he worked his way down to her shoulders before massaging the protective screen onto each of her arms. It would be a lie to say he didn't appreciate the excuse to be close with her in this way and the little grin on his lips gave him away entirely to easily. The only thing that could have made it better would have been the lack of gloves, but he new Cali wouldn't go for that. She needed this victory at least, as small as it might be.

Adam crossed his arms and pouted playfully. "Man, I can NEVER put my ice cream on Cecil!" He continued to slam down his ice cream completely forgetting about the events that took place in the the ice cream shop. "Ahh~!" he breathed satisfied. The brain freeze quickly took hold and Adam sat there with the same smile on his face. He slowly got on his knees and buried his head in the warm sand. "This helps better than you think it would!" his yell muffled by the loose earth surrounding his head. After the pain passed he pulled his head from the sand and shook his dreads out. "Barely any trick and all of the treat!" he smiled at his 'loophole'.

He felt a nudge to his side and turned to see Ridley. His eyes locked on her stare. The way the sun reflected off of her eyes made them twice as beautiful as before. Even though it shouldn't have been possible. "H-huh? Ye-yeah we'll work this out together." he said to her. He was a bit upset at himself for stuttering over his words. "I guess that brain freeze is still bugging me." he thought trying to rationalize his tripping of words.

Adam took it upon himself to join the little tease Ridley started. "Yeah Cecil, it'll probably be some clown with a fire semblance to make sure she never gets goosebumps again." he snickered. "He'll be all like, 'Don't worry, baby. I'm as hot as the sun. Everything revolves around me and you're in the Goldilock Zone. Meaning you're right where you need to be.' and then dude'll have like that military cut with a Bomber Jacket and stuff. And one boot that go up to his knees, but he has one pant leg rolled up... help my imagination is going rampant." he said before his thoughts took over. What started out as teasing turned into quite the challenge of creating a person on the spot to match his image of a guy who could whisk Azura away. Or at least try to.

Ridley feigned fear made Adam laugh. "As you should be!" he said gripping his fist stomping on his ice cream cup. "My revenge shall be swift, silent and painful! Maybe even delicious like this ice cream!" he laughed uproariously like a villain. He huffed and picked up the trash he stomped on. "I'm glad I made you laugh. I hope I can continue to make you and Azura laugh. I'm still working on Cecil." he admitted "Cecil is a walking brain freeze." he said nudging him. "Right, guy?" he asked snickering at his own joke.

Adam stood there at smirked at Ridley's explanation to the pink mark on her head. Her striking a dramatic pose was enough to split his gut at the seams on its own, but he held himself together. "So... you mean to tell me that a Beowulf jumped in to the ice cream shop, lunged at you and you destroyed it? Sounds to me you just iced, no pun intended, a potential customer who wanted some ice cream and was trying to get a spot in line." he said countering her story with his own impossible explanation. "When did Beowulves start flickin' foreheads?" he asked getting close and hovering his finger over the mark.

Adam got too close again and backed up quickly. Not for personal space reasons, but because he caught her eyes again. "Shiny." he thought. But it felt like it was something more than that. "Maybe ice cream isn't for me." he thought quietly out loud at barely a whisper. Then the topic of Volleyball came up and he instantly snapped out of his thoughts. "You mean we get to hit things, have fun and not have to worry about getting clawed to death? Let's do it!" he said after Ridley offer to cause mayhem. "Let's do it!" he said running towards the volleyballl court.

Cecil smiled as Azura took a bite out of his ice cream and helped to ease his mind as he pulled his ice cream away from her once she had her bite, nibbling more as she spoke. He nodded his head quietly and followed the group outside once more, for them to meet with the nice Mr. Golden Sun to warm them up as his semblance pretty much nulled his own warmth that he was okay with. He needed to keep his ice cream good and not melty as he was being teased by Ridley about someone whisking them away, followed by Adam trying to describe a very fiery dude. "You do know there is most likely a student here who is capable of manipulating fire correct?" He asked Adam while tilting his head, before he simply shook his head and chuckled at the lie Ridley made about a beowulf before Adam's imagination began to run wild once again about a Beowulf. "Seems like Ridley beat you to that one." He simply told Adam as Ridley made him laugh while Adam was trying too hard. Then the topic of Volleyball came up, he looked to his left hand and then a realization hit before he exhaled a sigh. "Darn, I left my semblance active so much I forgot the ice bags at the towel.... some Volleyball would be delightful." He told them all with a smile and walked behind Adam as he ran off.

As Momo’s projectile fired, she aimed to shoot at it, or even freeze it, but her body was launched to the side, and her vision blurred. He body hit the wet sand, where the tide came in, with a soft thud, and she was dizzy for a few moments. Hizami groaned, shaking her head from side to side, the soft firings of what seemed to be from her own gun…but she wasn’t shooting? Then the loud explosion that was the result of Momo’s launch hit her, and she suddenly knew what happened. He had…saved her from getting wet? Even though it was just a game, he had treated it like a real life situation…and put himself before her. Was she over thinking? Was she? It may not have been nothing more but just part of the game but…the way she had interpreted it… Hizami’s heart skipped a beat, and she bit her lip. It was too early to assume any feelings she had for him, and she could not deny that did not have any to begin with. If anything…it was making her turn red, and it felt like she was on fire. Hizami held her face, turning to look at her teammates. Eira would see just how red she was, as compared to her white skin and hair. The maiden was swooning. Way too hard. Never was she handled like that before and…it made her…feel differently all together. Since Arthas had taken her rifle, she was left vulnerable. The maiden turned onto her side, and thrusted her hand down at the water. A clear line of ice formed from her location, and quickly shot towards Momo and Eira, before erupting in a grand mist of small ice particles, encasing their weapons if they didn’t react with a barrier.

The captain proceeded to pull herself out from under the butler, and snap her fingers again. This time, a wall of ice erupted in front of both of them, shielding them from Momo’s next attack,” Thank you Arthas! Did anyone ever tell you you're so handsome?” She teased, leaning close to him, pressing another button on his rifle that would open up a digital scope for him, and in the bottom right of the digital screen would be the percentage of water left in the cartridge. Hizami slipped one in his pocket, and realized the gravity was back to normal. She smiled, before diving towards her bag, only to take out a much smaller baton, and activated it. This one, however, opened up with a bright hue, very distinguishable to Eira and Momo. Her lance had glowed the same color. Hizami also managed to snag an even smaller magenta pole, which she also activated to take out a pistol. She stuck the gun in the side of her bikini, and made a mad dash for the other girls. With her eyes glowing a brilliant blue, she looked at Arthas as she passed by, and sweetly smiled to him,” Shoot at her projectiles and up the power with the throttle! Cover me!” She requested, a lance in one hand, pistol in the other. The throttle would make the rifle open up a few ribs, and would intake air into much larger chambers at faster rates. In mere moments, her fingers began to twirl, and her lance spun. A few of Eira’s shots would hit, but most of them were deflected. The captain would launch herself back into the air, flip, and pivot around. She was now upside down, and if in slow motion, her hair would caress her face, a pistol aiming at Eira, the lance steering itself to cut Momo’s weapon. If, for some magical reason, this wouldn’t work, Hizami would yell at Arthas to push the big red button on his rifle. Rocket Launcher. One cartridge held four “rockets”. And she gave him one.

Out. Of. Cookies. Radius of 15 feet.

Arthas shifted his left leg allowing Miss Yachiru to escape out from under him. He kept suppression on the one called Momo yet quickly his line of sight disappeared as they covered behind a sand wall that miss winters had created. He lowered his weapon just a bit allowing himself to try and peek over their sand line. This was immediately interrupted as as a wall of ice erupted out in front of him and creating an overhang that stopped the next projectile. Some water dripped off the top and onto his head. His hair in some spots taking on a bit of a darker grey. He watched as Miss Yachiru got to her feet and came over to him. She pressed a button on the rifle and a scope popped up along with an "Ammo" counter. Her comment about being handsome though immediately triggered a response from the butler. "A man of my stature and profession must always be the personification of elegance thus handsome is just a simple title bestowed upon, so thank you."Arthas brought the rifle back into his shoulder pocket, flipped the rifle to rapid-fire. He pulled the magazine she had just slipped into his pocket into the empty dagger sheath at his side. It fit in such a way that he could pull it out and still be able to move at a fast pace. He looked up at Hizami as she asked for covering fire. "I'm on your 6 Miss Yachiru" he said. He had just a second to collect himself before she sprinted out from behind the ice wall. Arthas immediately followed after, the rifle raised, combat gliding across the sand Heel toe as he opened fire. His shots primarily focused on Miss Winters trying to keep her in cover from firing at Miss Yachiru as she advanced quickly on her teammates. The weapon barked like an angry dog of war as it let loose the shots that where directed at its enemies.

                                                            ► Still here

XXXThat was an undeniable truth on Eli's behalf. Even as the pendulum swung on, and the two of them found themselves in their golden years; much like the rays radiating off the golden sand at this moment. When both their hair had faded to a somber ash. The sheen and elasticity leaving their skin to merely drape with their bodies. Existing as if they'd crumble to dust at any moment in their age. She'd find something to shed a tear for. Perhaps it was the visit of a child or grandchild, the passing of a companion, or simply the absolute clarity they existed in during their last stretch of life. Surely by then, if by then even had the slimmest chance of existing in her life. These two orphans that had endured so much up till that point would have found their hour of clarity with one another. .. What had even caused her mind to travel towards such a distant future? Often times, it was her own defense the times she found herself estranged. The light at the end of the tunnel, where everything was truly alright. Perhaps she be wary of when she chose to go on these mental montages; Eli could always see it in her eyes, and he was always watching with those beautifully vibrant hues. A sight that had always entranced her, and caused her mind to wander so .. Captivated. Just as everything of his had, but his gaze and touch were the most enticing. Thus, the of feeling his palm caress her scalp was something she'd never admit to loving so, but her head pressing so firmly against his palm as his fingers entangled themselves in her hair couldn't have been more obvious. Cali was much like a cat; she'll only want more once you begin to pet her, even if you didn't actually mean to. It was too bad that even such a simple pleasure could do so much harm.

Perhaps a scoff is all she could really respond with. Eli had always snapped right back with his comebacks, no matter how badly she tried to roast or embarrass him. She could never catch him off his guard, and he'd always get the same cheeky smirk he wore whenever he picked at her. Now that chest thud was just himself being a bit too extra. "Woooooow. You know, I don't think you'd ever have to worry about someone snatching me away. Not with your persistence and my pestilence working together like that, no no, all yours until the day we die." He must've been lucky, not to hold the same worry that plagued her heart since they came to Beacon. Not that he would have to be concerned. Eli, through their best and worse, had become everything to her. His presence made her step a bit lighter. Her vision clearer, her hearing better, and given her a heart that can actually feel. The nights feel longer, and the morning after hurts less. Less and less.

Why did he try so hard to make her feel better about hurting him? Truly, it had to hurt. Did he ever get tired of suffering because of her? It seemed almost unfathomable that he could care for her so much to ignore the pains of the world, but he did. So, the finger to her lips really did silence her. Her words drifting to silence; it seemed she was no longer allowed to feel guilty. She'd stop, for his take, and simply look at their matched canvas that spoke their story. That damn smirk! "Infections are serious! Remember that time I got a lung infection from the smoke and it put me down for days?" She hummed in frustration. It was one of their many misadventures she remembered so vividly when she fell incredibly ill and couldn't even get out of bed. Eventually, all her clothes decayed, even the bed! Honestly, it was probably one of the more embarrassing times as it was just tragic. "Besides, you don't know what lurks in that water. It's a fish's toilet, that's just asking for an infection!"

Why did he have to pick on her so much? Unless they practiced catching, it wouldn't get any better! The surprises wouldn't help, not with her flinching reflex. She'd merely huff and quiet down, pouting was clearly the only option to this ordeal. That's when their personal bubble had finally popped, and she slipped into a state of distance for but a moment. As the group of women ran by, she seemed to slip herself into his shadow. Out of sight, out of mind. Such a gesture was only met with his figure towering over her, so attentive.. So close. It was only the nose boops and his charming self that would break the tension she felt and brought the sweetest smile back to her face. 'Nonrefundable nose boops. Pssh. What a farce. I should demand to speak to a manager. Maybe I'll provide higher quality.' Echoed in the back of her mind, planning her course of action. Attentive as he always was, as she continued to list the pros and cons of any of these activities, he would bring her attention to his own. His eyes.. They vibrated with electricity as he took charge of the situation, speaking in such a different manner. Perhaps one she needed to stabilize her reality and calm her. Concern melted away staring into such vivid hues as she slowly nodded. Taking charge in such a way was something she admired deeply about him. He knew when he needed to take charge of a situation to ease her, to ease others. Something she wondered if she'd ever master on her own, but didn't need to with him in her life. "I'd like that, Eli... Thank you." It was such a simple conclusion, but it was one she could never come to on her own. Honestly, if it was just her here, she'd probably go home due to the anxiety of so many options. .. That and being so far out of her shell she might get lost on the way home.

It seemed that their battle was shifting in her favor. With a pride-filled grin, she knew that she had conquered the man with the superior nose boop. She was also quite aware of the tactic she took, she may have been an innocent flower, but... She had to tease him on occasion, right? "The nose boop wars begin! But I'm ready for you." She'd giggle, now having to watch ever so closely for an unwelcomed finger. Secretly hoping she didn't sign up for more than she could handle. Afterall, he was the master of nose boops. To his command, she'd but simply smile and comply and he pulled her closer. Even obscured by the vinyl gloves, his touch had felt so pleasant. Feeling him work his magic and massage the sunscreen gently into her skin. He had always had such wondrous hands that seemed to find the right kinks in her body that just caused her to melt as he continued, even if this was just a ploy to bring them closer. She wanted it too. As he continued to work thoroughly, she found herself starting to lean further and further back. Then, she got an idea... Pulling away for but a moment, she'd look towards him with a smile. "Hey, one second. I wanna get something. With his permission, she'd pull away to begin ravaging through the bag he brought. With the protective nature of vinyl, she didn't have to worry about destroying it quite yet. Then, once she found a decent sized towel, she'd unfold it before swishing it towards him, beckoning him to take it.. "Hold this up, I wanna try something" Surely he would comply to such a simple request, even without knowing the nature of it. Once he held it up, possibly in confusion, she would make her act. Through the towel, she'd let her weight and gravity work their magic and carry her back to rest against him. So many times today, she found herself desperately wanting to lean against him. Now, with this shield, she could happily force herself upon him to use his own stature to support her. Clearly, she was spoiled. "Thank you for packing so many towels, otherwise.. I couldn't use you as my beachside chair." She'd taunt towards him with a smile. Sure, it would've been far better if she could just lean against him.. Just themselves. They would both prefer it, but they didn't have that luxury, so this would have to do. At least, until they hit the water.

As she continued to speak, rather than answer his question, she seemed to speak more now of why she had called him brother earlier and that due to her time in slavery she did not know if she had other siblings. He again felt sorry for her to have gone through such a thing. Even had he not known of their relation to one another he still would have felt equally as sorry. He wasn't sure of being called a brother, as it felt a bit too personal for it and it was strange to be called such a thing after a long time, but he could see her as a friend of the family at least. He didn't know if he was supposed to hug her or not, but remembering her scars, he felt it best not to right now. Ora then went on to answer his question, saying her own goal to find her lost leader and that he was free to do as he pleased, but she hoped she could talk with him. Despite belonging to this group by blood, he still felt a bit wary of reforming it. He did not like slavers after his own experience but he had never fought other people before. Grimm he could justify as monsters, but for people if he ever had to do more than merely hinder them...he didn't know if he could or ever wanted to. Still, if he did it meant he was more likely to find his father and maybe the rest of his family...He wasn't sure what he wanted to do quite yet. "While the cause is noble this is a lot at once...I won't give a definite no to it but I'll think about it." He would pause for a moment, remembering her second request of desiring someone to talk to. He grew less serious as he would respond with a smile. "Sure, we can talk about stuff but on my terms. Nothing about our past unless I agree. And I chose where we speak." He would finish, his smile widening at the last part. He had some...surprises in store that he hoped would help. All this talk of their past only brought on bad memories for both of them but her especially. So, he would have to counteract that with how he usually dealt with this stuff. A very unique way. As he was pondering what to say or do next, he noticed a strange sight in the distance. There was a tall figure in bright clothing with a familiar hat...and a certain cane. Looking between Ora and the figure, he would give a dramatic bow to her. "It seems we have to cut this meeting short for now. I seem to have attracted a sponsor and it'd be best if I did not leave them waiting. Its been a pleasure, and I know I will see you soon Ora. Till then." Henryk would quickly say before, being as flashy as he could be, he would do a short cartwheel only inches away from Ora to pass her and head towards the figure, in the opposite direction of everyone else. He wondered what his old boss wanted.

Ora would watch him go towards another man. He was ok with talking with her. That was the best part. Sure, it had to be on his terms, but that was fine. She was a soldier, she was used to following orders. None of this espionage stuff.

She would look over to Lena, She was sure that Lena didn't over hear them, but Ora would go up behind her, and wrap her arms around Lena, placing her chin on the smaller Faunus' head. It took work to do so, but Ora was on her tippy toes.

She'd look out to the ocean, before getting off of them. "I guess it's time to talk about my last name..." Her voice would be soft.

Nearly freaking out and about to sting the strange arms around her Lena paused and blushed a bright red. It was an intimate and tender moment in her mind, something that showed major progress between the two Faunus in their relationship. Turning in Ora's arms Lena met the gaze, which made Lena want to melt. "I think it’s an awesome last name. I don’t know my birth name as my adoptive parents gave me Lena Oxton." Moving her hands, clasping them together behind Ora's neck. "I think I understand why you clung to Henryk, he's similar to you by horns perspective. I feel bad for shouting your name out loud, I was excited by the fact of just learning it." Looking up briefly but when her gaze dropped and she met Ora's eyes she blushed again. "I really like you Ora, the layers and mystery behind the fighter. And I want to know more about you, at your pace." It was getting hot for Lena, the closeness, and without a thought she kissed Ora. Freezing a little as the mind caught up and took control over the emotions. "I...uh...er....I...." Was she at a loss of words, she was and would have to see what happens next.
