Not the first thing that she wanted to hear after mending Chie. It was a pretty lukewarm "thank you" but Emiko smiled and just kinda nodded. "N-Nah. I'm ok. I gotta help." She waved the uzukage off and then went off to go over towards the group of people that she had just thrown concrete off of to free. There were a few people that were in need of healing and she opened up with the smallest one, a child here age he who sustained almost minimal damages thanks to the adults. Another shindan to get things started.

He had a broken leg, fractured but thankfully no nices were jutting out from the skin. The least Emiko could do was to patch up his wounds. Her hands were brought together and once again, a faint green light would emit from her hands as she extended her chakra to flood into the wounds of the boy, instantly healing scraps and small cuts while getting the much larger ones beginning on healing. Her focus was dead set on her patient...man it felt really cool to use that word like this. It was pretty cool!

The kid would be able to make it now but it was time to move onto the other people affected. Her hands continued to glow as she spent chakra to maintain the minor version of healing hands. It was tough work keeping this up but Emiko would push herself to the brink of exhaustion if she had to. Her arms wobbled and her kept them hovered over injury after injury. "Y-You're okay. It's okay." The words flowed out of her mouth despite not realizing what she was saying.

Her attention was shifting to each other person, taking in their injuries and things she could at least handle. The two males were a much different case. Their injuries were still so severe and yet she couldn't do anything with this kind of weak technique. Cursing to herself, Emiko's hands flew over to the more severely wounded one. A large gash spreading up his leg with piping and other metalwork lodged in it. She switched to extraction with a handseal and had the chakra focus on freeing the object from his body.

"C'mon..." She grunted, her chakra pressing against the pipe lodged in the man's leg. Emiko could feel it press against the cold exterior but it wouldn't budge still. She didn't want to touch it and cause the guy any more harm than she currently was. More and more was pushed in, EMiko gritting her teeth against one another as it was taking a decent amount to just not kneel from the overexertion that Chie was talking about. Wouldn't that be some kind of hilarious retribution?~

Holding the jutsu with one hand, Emiko would use her right to grasp the object and then begin to try and pry it. She let out another heavy grunt but would force her body to listen. "I said move, damn it..." Emiko cursed, pulling with all her might until she finally felt the thing move. Her chakra in the wound would help loosen it before she began to slowly heave the pipe up. It soon clattered across the ground with a loud CLANG!. Emiko then cleaned her hands with a rat hand seal and pressed against the wound while using the blood cogulation technique. ALl the while, she called out, "H-Hey. Need a healer here..."

"Emi! Over here!"
Just as another person was picking up her slack, Emiko would hear a familiar voice. Her eyes lit up as she turned around to see Yoshiro's worried face near some white haired guy that was currently on the floor and probably suffering. "I'm coming!" She got to her feet and hurried over, smiling at her team mate but that look in her eyes told all. She was clearly suffering despite looking as if she could take this all. Her eyes moved down at the man and knelt down. She was pale. God a soldier pill would feel nice right about now.
"He's hurt. I think..." Emiko made a series of hand seals and then placed her hands over the fallen man's head. A pulse of her chakra wrapped around the man, her shindan technique taking a few minutes or so to get back to her. While nothing definite was given as an answer, Emiko had enough to know a preliminary step to what was wrong. "He's been poisoned." she said to Yoshiro. "I don't know what kind but his muscles are failing...However you say it." She paused. They could get somebody more experienced, yes but she was certain that there might be something that could be done to save him. After some hesitation for a second or so, Emiko looked at Yoshiro. "I can save him just...help me get him to the hospital. I can at least stop the poison a little. I just need time."

Sonyo carefully placed her hands over the lady she was working on and used Body Echoes to look for any sign of internal bleeding, which luckily there was none in any part of her body. Sighing in relief, Sonyo cast a minor version of healing hands for the scrapes and bruises, then formed a small amount of ice to stop any swelling from a concussion. She took some bandages that a nearby Vortex operative offered her and wrapped the ice in it before placing it gently on the woman's forehead. [color=indianred]"She needs immediate transferral to the hospital. I'll finish up here and then go there to help after."[/color]
Sonyo took a deep breath, grabbing both portions of the woman's arm before gently manipulating them back in place. One again she formed a small amount of hard ice and used that and the fabric give to her to form a splint for the woman's arm. [color=indianred]"Tell the doctor-- complete multiple fractures of the ulna and fibula. She needs [i]pins[/i], okay?"[/color] The vortex operative nodded; and with the help of another carried the secretary off.
It was at this point that Sonyo could finally look up and see how many bodies were pilling up around her for emergancy treatment. Sonyo cussed softly under her breath, gripping the fabric over her heart with a singular-- slightly bloody --hand. She closed her eyes and let out a shuttering breath, remembering the Chomei attack in Sunagakure and how familiar this destruction was to her. She offered out a silent prayer to the Mother-- to shepard the wandering souls of those who were lost back to her, and for quick recovery. [color=indianred]"Please let me be of more use this time...."[/color] Sonyo sighed and opened her eyes--- only to see the red headed gennin she saw once at the academy tending to the Uzukage, and failing for the most part. Her injuries were far beyond her scope, and Sonyo was glad when Chie shoo'd the girl off to stop her from passing out from the exertion.

Jumping up, Sonyo jogged her way carefully to the red-haired kage and stopped beside her. She offered her a quick, small smile; both in thanks and reassurance that she would take care of her. Focusing on the biggest wound, the gash in Chie's side, her hands glowed as she checked for any debris left over. The bleeding has stopped, for the most part, thanks to the gennin's work. It would make this easier. [color=indianred]"This might feel unpleasant, Lady Uzukage. I'm sorry for the discomfort it will cause,[/color]" Sonyo warned, before threads of chakra formed from her fingers, sewing Chie together like a doll. Arteries, tendons, muscle, flesh-- nothing was missed.

Sonyo followed up with another jutsu, forcing chie's body to form a substance called collagen, forming it's own bandaid to keep the stitches intact through almost any movement Chie might make while the wound healed. The last step was to use Healing Hands to heal everything on the inside of the wound to prevent deep infection worries down the line. Sighing softly, and opening her mouth to speak, Sonyo was distracted by the sudden appearance of a huge shape across the village. Her eyes grew wide, and almost scared... She hadn't even begun to tend to the injured already here and now there was [i]a freaking tailed beast loose near the village?![/i]

Using careful, practiced steps of someone who's danced on the top of a destroyed building before, she stopped behind Yoshiro and Emiko, looming over them like a grumpy mother. [color=indianred]"You two."[/color] She mumbled, before her gaze softened with a soft breath. She kneeled beside Emiko, laying a hand gently on the girl. She focused her chakra down in to her hand like she would for the Chakra Absorption technique. Closing her eyes, she forced her body to open the doors the other way-- to give instead of take. She felt her chakra leech from her body, pouring rejuvenating energy in to the young girl. Once she finished, she gently placed her hand on top of the girls locks and smiled softly.

You did amazing, better than my first crisis situation-- now get you and the rest of these people to the hospital, and get some rest."[/color] She moved her hands over Chouga's body, her chakra surging around him to find the cause. Sonyo's eyes narrowed as she searched, and then she found it. [color=indianred]"When you get there, tell the doctors that this is a neurotoxin. Can you remember that? Very widely used by puppeteers, especially in my old home of Sunagakure. They'll help you with an antidote. I don't have anything I can help him with here and I need to stay to help with injuries-- you need to hurry. Go now."[/color] She offered them a soft smile. At the rate things were progressing, Sadayo found the situation a real thorn to deal with. Although while her thoughts labeled the situation "a thorn" it had its positive traits being that others have come to aid of those trapped under debris. One had accomplished this the means of moving nearly everything in one swoop (which Sadayo could later reflect on and lable as the works of some precious, showboating, bloodline). Another was Sonyo. As if some otherworldly force heard her thoughts and summoned Sonyo to answer the call and provide aid to those once burried. Sadayo didn't have an answer for Sonyo, really. At one point, Sadayo threw her arms up, gesturing a shrug, and shaking her head in place of a verbal answer. NO IDEA! Another medic came too, however, it was one Sadayo couldn't exactly recognize. The same young medic seemed like a greenleafed tenderfoot but all the while just as determined to make a difference. The experience would serve her.
In time, Chie's voice just pulled Sadayo's attention as she were trying to patch up the basics of a man's wounds, recovered by the showboating mystery ninja, with her first aid kit before Sonyo or the young medic could move in. Chie described an invasion and an order to root out anyone suspicious and apprehend them. The puppeteer's attention was divided between Chie and applying pressure to a bright red wound on the recovered male. Gishin was pulled closely behind Sadayo whipped its arm in and swapped out the puppet's hand to free up her own. A antisecptic towllette was tore open and carefully applied under the gauze without a thought as to how that may have stung. [+1 B-rank Assit Mission]
Pressure was the most that particular wound needed. Another on the same man needed tending to through plucking rather than pushing. Sadayo removed the tweezers, sterilized them with whatever she could find in her kit, and went to work on him. This man was very conscious and said the last thing he remembered was looking out a window and then a great crash before being able to recall waking up in pain. His other arm had what looked like glass shards poking into the surface of his skin. The very thought of how easily a piece of glass can slice someone gave Sadayo the jitters. A first piece removed made her feel better on a whole other level. [+1 B rank Assist Mission]
One. Two. Three. The fourth piece was more iffy to grab onto than the others with plastic tweezers. Between pullings she'd talk to the man. Keeping him talking about himself, how he feels, and other things were apart of the process of knowing he was OK for the time before a medic could visit him. What pieces she pulled her set on Gishin's other hand reached over the man's body and open at the ready. "That's not a person is it?" "Far from it. All wood and metal. G-got it!" A another shard of glass could be heard clicking onto the puppet's palm. "Amazing. Ho-ow do you do it?" "Tweezers and a whole lot of sunlight." [+1 B rank Assist Mission]
A thought set on the rest of what she may have to invest herself into after she's done providing what assistance she could and where anything else could take her. The debris concern was taken care of but the collection of people were not. The jounin had gone through a quarter of her bandages, about half of her anti-septic resources, and gauze dressings. Tweezers have only had to have been used once and a bottle of water suitable for she'd so far spent on washing out dust from someone's eyes were still plenitful. [+1 B rank Assist Mission]
Another twinkling sound from glass dropping onto a puppet's metal hand and the ground shook. All the glass in Gishin's hands rattled and plopped onto the man's clothes. Sadayo stayed on her knees, hunched over, and looked around. The warm wafting breeze left over from Kokuou's steam. The jounin turned her head in the direction the wind came from after it passed and her sights froze on the figure in the distance. For the moment, Sadayo turned her head back toward her work and ran her fingers along the man's exposed arm to feel out anymore shards. His skin felt clean of any more glass in the meantime. Glass was the least of this man's worries with the injury on the other arm. As Sadayo began to patch up his meager wounds an actual medic swooped. Gishin's hand was moved out of the way and the puppet all together was moved aside. With most of her completed puppets out and ready this was the moment Sadayo had to decide what to do for this village. Continue to help it's people here as first-aid-kit medic or face the tailed beast after getting only a taste of its power.

Watching Emiko make her way over, Yoshiro was unable to return his teammate's smile. While her smile may have been warm and encouraging, the look in her eyes betrayed this sentiment. As she knelt down next to the unconscious man and went about her diagnosis, Yoshiro found it difficult to follow her words, distracted by his concern for her well being. It was clear that she was nearing the point of exhaustion but how could he bring that up with her? That was way beyond his level of emotional vulnerability.
Thankfully, a woman came to Yoshiro's aid, speaking to Emiko in a manner that was firm, yet encouraging. Furthermore, she performed some technique that seemed to rejuvenate Emiko to some extent. Once the woman finished her own diagnosis of the man, she shared her findings with Emiko and tasked the two of them with getting him to the hospital to retrieve treatment, giving them one last piece of encouragement. "Right." he said in a low tone.
As Yoshiro carefully positioned the man onto his back for transport, he could finally feel the full weight of the situation (on top of the weight of the man's body). He could see why Emi had become so drained, holding others' fates in her hands. Still, if he could help bear that burden in any way, he would give it everything he had. "C'mon. Let's get going." he said, motioning for Emiko to follow him. He then set a course for the hospital, making sure to be careful of his pace, for both the man's and Emiko's sake.
Chie winced in pain when Sonyo began. However, considering that she was willing to botch herself up to keep herself standing, she was grateful for an actual medic taking care of her. "Remind me to thank that Kazekage for having me agree to keep you around." She said with a smile. The woman's medical ninjutsu was astounding, and Chie felt like a new woman. However, when she moved to stand, she still found that everything ached and that there was still pain lingering.
"I shall." She said to Sonyo who moved off to assist others. It was then that she felt the earthquake of another calamity. "I should have just stayed in bed today." She said through a sigh. A clone appeared in front of her as the imposter performed the task she needed. She had her on site medical ninja send the critically wounded to the hospital while she had the minor sent to Sonyo. By now the damage was sizing down, as the direct action of the village caused the incident to become contained. Chie's clone continued this by showering the area with lower ranked water ninjutsu to put out any fires. The real Chie, meanwhile, moved toward the point of the tremors. It appeared to be by the Caldera lakes, which was the one place Chie hoped would not act up today.
Meanwhile, Sonyo's prayer would not go unanswered. The mother of all, an entity only in spirit, wrapped her arms invisibly around her beloved daughter. No one would see anything, but Sonyo would feel love surround her. In return, the mother rewarded the loyalty of her child with a vision. From the corner of her eye, almost like a illusion, there would stand a familiar man. If she turned to face him, he would fade. However, Sonyo would too feel love radiate from the silver haired man who would smile with his deep gold eyes gently staring at her. The love of Nature embraced her, and in return Sonyo would find her chakra reserves return briefly.

The limitations of this are as such. First of all, the technique works passively only up to one rank below Chie's current Korabo level. Sadayo's perspective on the situation led to her believe the covert, village operatives had a firm grip on the scene here with their source of medics. "You two." Emiko looked behind her to see a woman approaching that she hadn't met before but that tone was a bit disconcerting to her at least. It was like a mother on the warpath to scold her child for doing something wrong. She huffed and watch as the woman lowered herself to Emiko's level and placed her hand on the young genin's head. Emi kept her head down, blushing a bit from being touched, especially her hair. A strange feeling followed, like something entering her body. Her body felt as if it was rejuvenating and her resolve only doubled as her energy returned. "Whoa! I feel better now! You've gotta teach me that!" Emi said, smiling up at Sonyo. She spoke and the girl paid attention, giving her orders to get the fallen man to the hospital as well as helping her name what kind of poison he was suffering from.
"I believe in you, little ones. Be brave, be strong, be quick."
Emiko gave a strong nod. "We will! This guy will be safe with us, I promise!" She said, giving a thumbs up to Sonyo and then facing Yoshiro as the two set off for the hospital.

Falsa listened to Chie's words and nodded to her, gathering her allies, having Mugen snatch up the Crustacean and drain out his chakra in order to fill out her own chakra levels. With no further words, she left.
Suddenly everyone was gone, and it was just her again with the broken and the dying. She sighed softly, then gestured to a few Vortex agents who surprisingly followed her quite obediently. Sonyo watched them in confusion, wondering if Kya had put them up to this, but then decided she wouldn't punch a gift horse in the mouth and went back to work. She bent down next to another injured person-- a young kid, maybe not even seven. The sight made her breath hitch a little, he looked so much like Taylor... her little boy. She swallowed hard, setting her jaw, this was not the time.

The hallucinations were back again, she was seeing him when he couldn't possibly be here-- her grief was getting worse even though she thought she had it under control. He was gone. Forever.

Eventually her heart slowed and her breathing returned to normal, and despite the Vortex agents looking at her like she was crazy, Sonyo returned to her work. "He's gone, kid." Shukaku echoed inside her head. 'I know...' She replied back mentally, sadness leaking in every word. She turned back to the young boy and used diagnosis to gather information, and found that he had a brain hemorrhage but it wasn't massive. Placing a hand on the young boy's golden locks, her hands enveloped themselves in her swirling mass of purple and blue chakra.

The mystic hand technique targeted the broken vessels in the brain, slowly healing them back together and stopping the bleeding. He was saved, for now, but the inflammation and pressure could still kill him. He'd be stable for transport at least. The jinchuriki motioned to the young boy and a vortex agent carefully picked him up and ran him off to what must have been an overly filled hospital as it was. Sonyo dusted off her hands, then moved on.

The next patient was a man, who seemed to try to be downplaying his injuries. A huge piece of support beam metal was sticking out of one leg, and a massive piece of glass in the other. Sonyo introduced herself, then sat down, made a single hand seal and.... summoned a whole tray of medical equipment from the hospital. The man tried to protest, but Sonyo wasn't letting him. One syringe of Lidocane mixed with Epinepherine to stop a majority of the bleeding of pain in to the leg, and one in to the arm to allow for extraction. With a quick motion of the her hand, she poured Iodine to cleanse the surgery site.

Slipping on the sterile surgical gloves with the motions of a veteran surgeon, Sonyo began the surgery. Using a clamp-like tool she broke off the ends of the metal, then slowly pulled it out. The patient's face turned pale and the sight, and Sonyo motioned for one of the vortex agents to cover his face... which they did. Again, it was surprising that they were working with her. To staunch the bleeding, sonyo quickly surged her chakra through her hand in to the wound. Chakra stitches worked their way to repair small blood vessels, then Sonyo used real stitches to fix the outside. The arm got much the same treatment, and then the man was taken off and evacuated to the hospital. Surgical gloves and the whole tray were then thrown out, and Sonyo moved on.

Time and space began to swirl clockwise around the Uzukage's office as the Uchiha stepped out of it's warped dimension. Masato's eyes faded from their glowing red state back to their dull black. On his shoulder, the unconcious body of a former academy student from the village who had made his own way outside the gates. Masato turned back to Taylor and Zhi. " Looks like she's not here. We'll wait." He stepped forward to the desk, shifting the dead weight on his right shoulder towards the oak surface. With a thud, Shinsei would bounce off the top of the desk and lay unconscious. He would sigh, folding his arms. " I hate waiting." His eyes blinked, looking about. " She's messy." He glanced up at the open skies, wondering what might have actually happened.

Masato needed to stop doing this whole teleportation thing. Taylor felt like he was going to vomit as he materialized again. The boy bent over and held back his stomach as Horus flew into the air. Miraculously, Taylor did not vomit. However, shocked eyes looked around the desolation of the area. There was catastrophic damage all around the area Masato miraculously managed to find a desk to lay out the target on. It looked as though there was some sort of battle. "What happened?" Taylor thought. The dead in the area were being escorted away, and the toll seemed much more wounded than deceased. Still, it appeared as though something dangerous passed by. What could have happened?

Also like Taylor, Zhi found herself quite surprised and concerned for the state of what she could only assume used to be the Uzukage's administration building. There really wasn't much of... an office left. "Good question..." Was all she could say in response to Taylor. Zhi took a deep breath and focused, reaching out to sense not only through chakra but also natural energy. From what she could tell, there had been quite a struggle elsewhere in the village too. "Hey... uhh... Muscle-sempai? You think the Uzukage might be mad at us for missing out on... whatever happened here while we were gone?" Zhi scratched the top of her head worriedly, not really looking forward to that part of the conversation if it came up.
