*Kouta raised his hands up as much as he could. Seeing as how Katty had them pinned down in her hug, it wasn't very high* S-Slow down!! I've transfered schools over here. My family said that I'd be staying here with you and your family for a while. That's not a bad thing is it? *Kouta joked with her and then looked down at her. While she did still have that childish glee and energy too her, her appearance was nothing of the little girl that he remembered*

really? you're going to be living here? really truely? ::excitedly:: that's wonderful! that means that we'll be staying! and you'll be staying with us! ooh! i can't wait to show you around! ::pauses and tilts her head thoughtfully:: well, i wouldn't have been able to wait if i knew my way around but we only just got here ourselves so i'm almost as new as you... what school are you going to? ::realizing that she's been clinging to him since she came in, she lets go and scoots back a bit so that she's sitting on the bet next to him, though she's still vibrating with excitement::

I'll be a first year student at the local college prep school. It's nothing that great, but I need to get ready for the real thing. *He said all this rather quietly, as if ashamed, then looked back up to her* What about you? Are you about to start college? *Now that he thought about, Katty was a little younger than him so maybe she was still in high school. He couldn't really remember*

::shakes her head:: mm, no, i just started at the local high school here... :;seems a touch disappointed that they'll be going to diffrent schools then says, more to herself:: i wonder if i can skip a few grades if i can prove i'm smart enough... ::shakes her head:: mm, nah, then Papa will actually expect me to stay smart and that's so boring ::makes a slight face then beams at Kouta:: how have you been? it's been at least ten years... i missed you! ::hugs him agian::

*Kouta fell back at her hug and smiled as he returned it* Wow, I guess it has almost been that long, hasn't it? I've really missed you too. *He smiled and remembered back to when she first came to visit. She was all quiet and shy at first but quickly changed to her happy and excited self. Then he remembered when she finally had to leave. That was a sad day for Kouta. Perhaps it's because she was the first real friend that he ever had in that area. Before that, he was always the quiet lonely kid in the corner. Katty was the one who taught him to be social and how to talk with people. Without her, he would probably still be alone. Then Kouta's eyes shot open as a thought shot through his head* Wait a sec!! You're STARTING high school?!?! I knew I was older than you, but I didn't think it was by that much! gonk

::blinks at him, then giggles:: you're not! i'm starting highschool HERE! we just moved here, Tata, i was going to a privet all girls school before we moved here, but i got expelled for "provoking" a fight ::tilts her head:: before that i went to an ameircan high school where i was suspended for "talking back" to the teacher... honestly, it wasn't my fault i knew the topic better than he did!

*Kouta laid back, his eyes blank and steaming fizzling from his head from the mixture of relief and her burst of information* gonk O-Okay....had me wondering.... *He sat up and looked at her* You provoked a fight and talked back to your teacher? Geez, you haven't grown up at all have you? blaugh *He laughed and konked her on her head lightly*

::crosses her arms sulkily and sticks her tounge out at him:: i have too grown... i'm taller, and more... uh... ::coughs slightly and changes what she was going to say to: less kluzy... and the fight wasn't my fault. i didn't throw the first puch. i hurt her head when i used too many big words... as for talking back, the teacher was giving us all false information... can you believe he was teaching French culture and he had never even been to France!

The fight may not have been your fault but you still fought back, and as for the teacher well...eh..nevermind. *He laughed and stepped over to his luggage, rummaging through one of the suitcases* And on the klutzy part...I'll have to see that to believe it. blaugh By the way, I have something for you...

::watching him curiously:: i didn't start the fight and i didn't participate.... what *I* started was a verbal argument... she went the savage route and threw a punch at me, which i managed to dodge... i never once swung at her... in fact if Joe hadn't been there i would have most likely lost half my adult teeth... and the teacher was incompetent... what do you have?

*Kouta smiled and finally got a hold of something underneath his shirts* Well it's good that you didn't get hit, cause then I wouldn't be able to see your smile as much. And I have... *He laughed and turned around slowly, holding a old and slightly worn out teddy bear. It was cleaned and everything, but the days of age had taken their toll on the poor stuffed friend* ...someone who has missed you very much.

Yeah, he's been keeping me company since you left. *Kouta smiled as Katty took the bear and proceeded to squeeze the life out of it. To be honest, after Katty left, he still had some trouble making new friends at school and stuff. Whenever he began to feel down, it was this little bear that brought his mood back up and he would smile* We tried to clean him up as best as we could, but there wasn't a lot that we could do without damaging him.

:;shakes her head slighing, holding it so that she could get a good look at it:: if he was all clean and sparkly, i wouldn't recgonize him.... he was old even when i had him... i'm glad you still had him ::smiles at Kouta::for awhile i thought that you might have lost him or forgotten where you got him... i was so terrified that you'd make a whole lot of new friends and forget about me...

Not a chance. I made a lot of new friends, but I could never forget my Katty. *Kouta smiled as he told her the lie. He didn't make a lot of new friends. Only a handful. Katty was the only one that Kouta ever felt that he could open up around. It was strange, but he didn't know why*
