"Babe, I got a whole list of names I could default to. Our little girl is precious to us, so what about a gemstone name? I can just see us chasing after little Garnet now, or watching our Amethyst hitting one out of the park, or maybe even see Pearl graduating to the top of her class."

He smiled and rubbed noses with her before they fell asleep. He helped her ease into their van the next morning and drove to the garage to see about mopping up the mess left behind by their former manager.
