Dr. Kyou was indeed, an expert on cake but no matter how good the cakes were, Xiu unfortunately had his limits. After his second helping of chocolate macadamia brownies, the Sigel had to excuse himself from the enthusiastic Doctor.

Wondering where Lazarus went, Xiu noticed the table showcasing several planters. Interest suitably piqued, Xiu floated over to have a look and in due course selected a clay earthenware pot into which went an orchid and strawberry plant. It was not the most conventional of combinations but Xiu liked the look of the orchid and had never seen strawberries outside a packaged supermarket box before.
